Story structure and length

Hope you're all keeping well this summer, I'll try to keep this journal brief as really I just want to gauge people's opinion on something.
I've been working on another story, and it's looking to be another fairly long one. About 58551 characters or 21 pages in the doc as of writing, and In my head I feel like I've barely gotten started, though it remains to be seen how accurate that estimate is.
Thing is, when I look around, I mostly see people post 3-8 page stories, so I'm wondering if slicing my story into more 'bite sized' chunks would be better, like say 10 pages or so at most. I won't massively rewrite the story to fit this chapter format, so starts and ends would be a bit abrupt and I'll probably be posting the whole thing at once so no waiting for the next chapter.
So my question is, would you prefer such a chapter structure, or would you rather have it be like 'A Rough Start' where it's one single 50~ page story?
