I know I've been gone for a while but I'm starting school soon and have been working 40 hr weeks so I haven't had much time to art but I ran into a bit of a problem and the timing couldn't be shittier

My parents are expecting me to pay the insurance bill on the car which is expected cause I'm the sole driver and they have their own vehicles to pay for

I still get paid biweekly but to finish the payments I'd have to pay the remaining after it's due

I can only pay 500 out of 800 and will take commissions and/or donations to make up for the rest and I will either pay the money back or draw as soon as possible

It would sincerely help but I need to have it completed by the beginning of next month so be safe

I had an attack earlier this night and I had left my inhaler at home without knowing

I had changed my bag and somehow it didn't make it into the one I took to work

A customer asked what was wrong and I said I had forgotten my inhaler and I couldn't breathe

She had one she just picked up that was exactly like mine and gave it to me saying she had plenty at home

I can't believe that happened but I'm so grateful it did

I currently work at a Wal-Mart in Portland but being a Cashier the stress is eating away at my resolve to stay long enough to move to overnights. My manager told me that until the front end has more cashiers I can't move to overnights. Cashiers are dropping like flies. The new hires work a day then quit and the ones who have stayed longer are quitting too. The ratio of cashiers to floor associates on the registers is becoming a greater issue and last night was my breaking point.

What Happened:
I've been having breathing issues the past few days and they put me out on the register at garden center outside. I had a steady stream of customers that were sent out to me because the lines were so bad. It wasn't too stressful. I was put out on a regular speedy lane after my first break and had to deal with the customer service managers not responding to requests for change or opening my register. There was a lady who forgot her card out in the car and she was in the motorized carts. I went to suspend the transaction and the managers didn't come with their keys so I changed it to aborting the transaction and there was no response. All they had to do was click a button on the Palm and it would be gone. The Palm is like a touch screen cell phone that has the schedule and can approve certain things from a distance. 20 minutes later the lady comes back. I never got the transaction aborted. She paid for her stuff and left. A few customers later a guy wanted some stamps but paid with a card. I needed to open the drawer for them. I literally had to walk away from my register to go to customer service to get one of the mangers to use their keys to open it because whoever had the Palm was not responding.
Later on the last hour of my shift I get put at 15 which is our cigarette lane and the only one we never shut down. A mother in an electric cart and a daughter who looked like a teenager came through my line. African American. My mother calls me color blind because I could care less what color you are. I've dated and been friends with many different people of different colors but I say African American to let you have a picture in your mind of how their attitudes were.
I started ringing up their items. I put heavy stuff like cans on the bottom, lighter stuff on top, and if there is bread I put it on top so it doesn't get crushed. The mother said that she didn't want the bread crushed (in a very rude tone) and pulled it out of the bag. I said ok and put the bag with the rest of the items onto the counter. She opened a bag and started stuffing all the bread into the bag. I try not to do that because the combined weight of the bread on top still crushes the bread on the bottom. There was a stray lemon that was out of the plastic bag she had and so I combined them and put them in the paper bag with all the other fruits and veggies she had and she ripped them out of the bag and said she had them separated for a reason and pulled the lemon out of the plastic bag and put them in the first bag.
Look, I don't care who you are if you come through my lane, but most customers at least tell me they want the bread in a separate bag, or if they're that fucking picky they bag it themselves. I got angry and kept my mouth shut. At the end after they paid the daughter said that I should smile more. She stood right there as her mother did the things she did and had the gall to say that. I have had people play the race card on me. I've had people play the hurt and abused customer that none of the associates would help when associates have said they were never asked for help. But I have never had this happen and I told her that after the day I had I really didn't feel like smiling. They went and complained to my manager and the daughter came back and said my attitude was very poor. I told her I was doing the best I can with what was given to me and she left. I started crying and couldn't stop and they pulled me off the register and for the last half hour of my shift I sat in the break room.


TL;DR Managers didn't responded and made my job impossible to do and had a horrible customer I had no idea how to deal with that complained about me when they were being rude to me.

In the mean time I'm looking for another job hoping to quit soon but I'm out of money for the next week except for $23 for food. I'd like to take commissions or donations to help me until I get paid and I will either pay you back or draw something. Send me a note and I'll give you my PayPal otherwise I'll be applying to everywhere in a 20 mile radius.

My phone takes a picture when I hit submit then browse so it's not letting me go to my gallery but it's turning my picture sideways...I'm holdin b the phone correctly and it uploads it sideways.

Work has been destroying my happiness and has led to be being very angry and frustrated with customers and some managers.

It will take maybe four weeks to move to overnight mod crew or stocking

But since I'm working and stressed so much I maybe play a half hour of wow and fall asleep to playing it. And I basically sleep til I have to wake up for work again.

I think I may need to request some time off because a day or two here and there has me coming back to work and halfway through the day it starts building up again

Idk if I'm able to go to salem for a couple of days or not but all I know is work is dragging me down and I reallllllllllly want to take the place down with me....

my mate an i were thinking about making something like that, people would pay to have ad space which would go to running the site, there would be a donation pool to keep the site up and running, but it would be for artists writers musicians fursuiters crafters and watchers alike

WHEN ASKING ABOUT COMMISSIONS
I will send you the link to this journal but if I don't cover the topic I will update this and will apologize and speak with you about it.
When asking, please let me know if you are just gathering research, or you are literally asking for a commission. I don't want to accidentally add you to my queue thinking you're going to buy a commission, or think I need to find time to work it in. It's fine if you ask but I have a hard time telling and don't want to create any issues...but sometimes I'm not dense and will know lol

If you ask about PRICES I will send you this and tell you it's at the bottom and will give examples as to how much a piece of art or story may cost.

If you ask HOW LONG it will be, I cannot give an estimate. I will not ask you to pay til I reach you in the queue, and if you do not trust me, I only ask you pay half at the beginning. I work full time and have been sick for several weeks so I may have the energy I may not but know for sure you will get the art you want and will give you frequent updates so you know how far along I am and when.

WHEN REQUESTING A COMMISSION
ASK how much a "_________" would be. For instance "How much would a two person, one anthro canine, one feral feline fullbody cuddling in a bedroom be?" because each detail may cost more or less. Backgrounds add more. More body showing adds more. The type of feline, like a tiger or leopard would send up the price because of the complexity of markings. All commissions are different.

AFTER ASKING I will get back to you as soon as possible with what each point would cost and why and the overall price, and for the price I would want to pay for something, I would look at it, ask myself how much would I want to pay, and may adjust the price accordingly. I have been known to take off a few dollars because I feel it's too expensive.

This is the point where you tell me "Yes the price seems fair." or "Sorry, I'll pass." I need to know if you'll go with it or not so I know the next step.

WORKS IN PROGRESS AND I NEED YOUR HELP
If you see a WIP of your piece and you see something you want changed or not, please let me know. I use the early stages of sketches to make the general shapes and positioning, then I slowly refine and make it clearer and more detailed. If you want nothing changed, tell me and I know to keep doing what I was doing, but if there's things you see in the wrong spot or it's not there at all tell me and I will go back and fix it and re-upload and will wait for your approval. I want you to get what you wanted. I want you to be happy that you got exactly what you wanted, but you need to work with me on that so we can achieve that.

OK here it goes.

As with anything I have to see multiple journals of some similar subject before I find anything out. This was the beta layout. It's almost like a mix of deviantart and I think it's weasyl or sofurry I don't use them but I see da in it. It's fricken huge and I reluctant to change but I'm going to try it. I use a laptop so it's bigger and it doesn't even fit right on my screen so I may end up changing back.

As for being sick. I have stopped throwing up. Four people thought it was morning sickness. I used the wand. Negative. I stopped puking. No morning sickness. I also started my PERIOD. So. I'm not preggers. I'm too young to be preggers. I live paycheck to paycheck so I couldn't care for a child anyways. And that's not paying rent that's just food and necessities.

I know I don't talk much and it may seem that n the inside I'm screaming get away. If I am it's due to the stress of work and my parents fighting. OH! If they bother to pay attention to the concerns going on they wouldn't dare start making changes cause naturally fa will jump ship and then you have an empty site that will be useless

If artists have to pay for premium memberships theres no fucking way well be staying because the majority of artists draw for their job. they cant afford something like that or to move

and if artists have to up prices because of it buyers will probably go down in numbers so business will be taken elsewhere

whats the point in buying a site that has a fine balance between artist and buyer only to upset it and fuck yourself over?

they shouldnt be making changes, i may be wrong but thats just my thinking...
