Weekly Journal April 29/13 - plus bonus video
Posted 12 years agoHello all you little video furs. I get asked all the time what is the best accessories for fursuiters when they buy their first Go Pro camera system.
Personally I enjoy using the Chesty Harness It is very functional while in suit as the camera is positioned in the center of your chest and hey.. who does not like a suiter in a harness. The good thing with the harness and most accessories is that they work for any of the go pro series. The reason I enjoy this set up is I tend to be very active with my hands so holding something is not always convenient and I am always looking around so my head is moving a lot so the video would be very jittery and not always focused on the action. Being on the Chest gives you more stability when filming as well.
Another method I use is the Head strap Mount This strap can be easily modified to work around the muzzle or as a headband. The center strap can be removed and the band can be adjusted easily. Again it keeps your paws free for interaction and only issue is if someone bumps the camera if it is attached to the muzzle it could cause the camera shift off center giving you an askew video. Having it on the head as a headband is more preferred.
And for fun, A user submitted a video recently ((If you wish to submit a video for me to post, send me a note!))
