The life of a Graecoon~
General | Posted 17 years agoHi people :3
I haven't been aorund much, but I've been busy with a bunch of stuff -- like today I called and rushed out to grab Rock Band Wii, and was lucky -- they sold all their other copies in the time it took me towalk to the store, I got the last one @_@ But it's mighty fine. <3 True, it does lack a few of the features of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions, but it does have the core gameplay (and actually, opposed to my original assumptions, doesn't look like total crap. x3) -- and it does have a multiplayer campaign thing (not as intricate as the superior versions, but it does allow you to unlock the game with the help of friends, something I was pleased to see. <3) And lack of DLC has been addressed by purchasable content-discs that serve as a stand-alone game filled with the extra songs you could download on the other platform's versions. :3 it's quite delightful, and the Wireless Guitars are pretty sweet~ nice setup, aesthetically pleasing, all in all I am enjoying it. <3
Sadly, I can't play online with any of you yahoos, but you all know Nintendo by now. x3
Otherwise, I have just been working my butt off in trying to counter my huge debt (which I only make worse with the purchase of expensive games like Rock Band Wii. x3!) Midnight shift, it's no fun -- I had to shift from Morning shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) to Midnight shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) in one night, working Day Shift on Saturday and then cutting right into Midnight shift the following night on Sunday. x3 Hopefully today I won't be such a lethargic irritable mess at work. ;3
I don't know why I felt compelled to make this journal, but I just did. x3 I feel exceptionally happy right now, y'know -- y'know one of those times when you just feel insanely happy for no real obvious reason -- but life's just amazing and nothing can get you down? That's how it is right now. I'm going to work in ten minutes but I really don't care. x3 I think this is what happens when I perfect all of my surroundings with a nice clean, organized house and a fridge full of nommability. ;3
In any case, I shall talk to many of you furthings again soon :3
PS: I got your email, Stormy~~~ x3! I'll respond when I get home from work. ;3

General | Posted 17 years agoWell fellow furs, I have returned~
I've been home for a little over a week now, actually -- I've just been too lazy or busy to write a journal about it yet. x3 I really don't want to talk too much about it, since I've spent all week telling all manners of people at work, at home, on the street all about what happened and what I did, and I'm sure most people don't care to hear all the petty details anyways~ It was just damn fun and I'd definitely do it again sometime. :3
I want to thank the fifteen-or-so people who've watched me and added favorites over the last week and during the time I was gone~ I truly appreciate each one a ton. :3 I hope in future to start doodling some more stuff that makes watching me worth it~ x3
I also colored a panel from the unfinished comic that Amarimasi drew for me -- it was so cute and I was sure it'd make an epic avatar -- and so it is! I think it's so sly and cute and awesome. x3 There's a full version here if anyone cares: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....d-Graedius.png
In the newspaper today at work, I saw something so random that I had to laugh -- originally, I was going to tear the whole column out because I wanted the information in it, but I spied something so unusual that I ended up taking only it -- check out this commenter's name: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....s/CoonCome.png -- Matthew Coon Come. His last name is Coon Come? ... <3 That should be my last name ;3
Also Dr. Mario Online for the fucking win -- I was eagerly awaiting them to so much as port the old NES game over to the virtual console, concent with that idea -- online Doctor Mario is the shizznit. <3
Well I guess that's all for now~ <3
If I ever get any degree of effort ever again, I'll draw some of the ideas floating around in my head. x3 <3

More Big-City Bo-Sheet~
General | Posted 17 years agoI know this may all seem kind of irrelevant to some of you depending on where you live, but where I come from is a tiny little farming community called Taber, in Southern Alberta -- population of about 8,000 citizens. It was heralded as a big deal when we earned our first McDonald's in 2000, and our Walmart in 2006 -- that's how small we are. x3 so pretty much even the most menial of things is pretty exciting here. :B~
Again, I don't know what is viewed or screened or saved or scrutinized on this Pc, so I'm not gonna check any comments, faves, submissions, notes, or anything until I get back to my home computer on tuesday -- I just wanna be on the safe side. (It helps that Furry is such an obscure niche thing that's for the most part obscured to younger people. x3) But I am eager to see all of it, so don't worry, I will. :3
But yeah, saw Phantom of the Opera today, live on Broadway -- pretty fucking awesomesauce~ Damn fine. An experience everyone who's capable of viewing, should. A true work of art~ I actually bought the soundtrack on CD -- the very first music CD I've ever purchased for myself! We're going to see Wicked on Saturday -- tomorrow's free.
That means I'm gonna hop on over to the Nintendo World Store. ;3 My Credit card is already little more than a smoldering mess so WHY NOT. x3 I'm sure I'll find some nifty stuff there, like some typical T-shirts or collectible figurines or whatnot. ;3 I bought myself an awesome hat today so I wanna find a Pokéball replica -- I'll take a picture, I really look like a Pokémon trainer with it. x3
But I'm still thinking about you fuzzythings~ As much as I am enjoying myself, I really wanna be able to pop online again and just chat it up~ So in any case, I'll probably make another journal in the near future so that everyone can roll their eyes, sigh in complacent disgust before clearing their messages and understandably, not giving it a second glance or thought. <3 x3

In New York City!
General | Posted 17 years agoOooooh boy~Well first off, my mom's laptop is junk -- something's really screwed up with it, so we left it in the car at the paid-parking-spot in Calgary. I have to use a public-use pay-as-you-go machine in the hotel -- I hope they don't care that I'm on FurAffinity. x3 But, as a result, I will not check any of the messages I have, comments, notes, or otherwise -- I won't be able to check those until I'm at home (or until I'm sure I have a safe place to do so.)
But yeah!
Holey monkey, lots of stuff going down. On the first night we got here (last night) I was really burned out, tired and sort of in a daze -- the place and everything was just overwhelming. I live in a small rural town in Southern Alberta, Canada of a population of about 8,000 citizens -- the tallest building is maybe three storeys. x3 So yesterday, as we were in this Jazz club, I started feeling all weird -- I was generally unhappy and just blah, and both of us were worried the feeling would persist. x3 I still think the Hotel in Calgary (Holiday Inn) had a lot nicer bedroom than the one here (Roosevelt Hotel) -- I was hoping for a Jacuzzi! I guess here y'pay entirely for the location and not the quality. x3
But today, I'm just fine, we went on a series of tours, ate at some places, explored all over, saw a Broadway play (Curtains; I actually got to meet David, uh, whatsis'-face -- y'know, Niles from Frasier, and got my picture taken with him after the show. x3) which was surprisingly good -- 1 of 4, give me strength. x3 Been spending money at a horrifying rate, however -- in fact I've spent $4.50 during the duration of writing this journal, so damnit I'm gonna make it well worth my time. Thank God for credit services :B~ (Don't worry, I know how to spend responsibly, and how to pay it back -- at this rate, this will be quite a learning experience for many reasons.)
So um, yeah~ I guess I don't know what much else to say. My face hurts, I got a little sunburnt (although not nearly as much as my mom). Ate at a five-star McDonald's in Times Square, got tons of freaking pictures -- oh it'll be an adventure indeed. Let's just hope I have some value of wealth to my name when I'm done -- the hole can only go so deep!
Be well, y'guys -- I'll check my comments next time I think it's safe to do so. :3 I assure you -- I'll be thinking about you all~
PS: It's very hard to fap to furry porn when you're practically strapped to your mother for a week straight :B~

Two Week's Vacation! (A whole buncha updates~)
General | Posted 17 years agoListening to: Eiffel 65 - I'm Blue
Well! I know most of you haven't heard much from me in the past months -- definitely nothing on the art front. Been most just coming on to FA, viewing people's art, commenting, favorite, coming agai--er wait~ x3~
I have actually been drawing stuff, and I have a few things actually scanned and ready in digital format -- I just needed some time to finish them up. Lately, I've just been feeling really burned out after work (likely a result of working on midnight-shift -- often too much to even come on MSN. (Sorry to anyone who's watched me and I haven't acknowledged it! I've been too lazy to even write a "Thanks for the watch!" message -- although I'm sure most people find those annoying anyways. Bottom line, I have seen your watches and thank you~!) In fact, I've had a note to write this journal sitting on my desk for a great deal of time, and just have neglected to do it for so long. I'm only doing it now because it's about as late as I possibly can without cutting into my vacation time. x3
Vacation Stuff: My mom won a vacation for two to New York City about four months ago, and originally was going to take my sister -- but because I'm a lot more financially reliable (and have a passport >_>) she chose me to go with her instead, and I got the next two weeks of work booked off for it. I'll be staying from Monday, May 26th to Monday, June 2nd -- likely arriving home again on the day following. The hotel we're in is pretty facking nice, it's nearly $500 per night and we got it all paid for. @_@ It's right in the core downtown, mere blocks away from pretty much every major center. We got all this sightseeing planned to do and stuff -- it'll be arguable how good a time I have, I think. x3 My mom's obsessed with Broadway, so we've got four of them booked -- I dunno, I have a hard time sitting through many movies these days, so a four-hour long live play might really push it. Not to say I won't enjoy it, but I'll probably enjoy "Phantom of the Opera" a bit more than "Hairspray" -- although as I told my friend Lazo yesterday, the last live play I saw was a really low-budget version of "The Miracle Worker", so anything's gotta be better. x3 At least we're gonna visit the Nintendo World Store, and I'll surely indulge in a ton of awesome merchandise and stuff~ <3
Regardless, I'll have a vast majority of the latter week to myself at home, to get my affairs in order and cry over how much this trip has cost me. x3 (Last time I go on a vacation with her, I assure you -- my bank account is an ever-brightening sea of Red @_@)
For the MSN-unloved: I want to apologize to anyone who feels they been left out or abandoned by me in terms of MSN and regular contact -- I'm sure you know who you are if this applies to you -- like I've said, as of late, I've felt so effortless that I can barely muster the effort to do anything other than sleep. @_@ I also admit I must have some sort of strange complex~ I guess I value all my friends, and I really don't like to disappoint them in any way -- so sometimes if I wanna come on and just play a game (or otherwise, just want to do something other than talk) I'll just avoid making my presence known at all -- and I guess sometimes, a perpetual cycle builds up where a long amount of time has passed, and I guess I feel it'd be awkward to address someone I've in essence avoided for a long time, and put it off, making the idea of doing so only all the much more awkward and hard. ><; I turn, I end up offending those that I do care about most~ I"m gonna make an honest effort to just go on and... well, be honest about things. If I wanna do something, I'll just set a status and make it known to people who talk to me -- because I loved... being loved. x3 And I just wanna make sure everyone knows I do care about them still, and me just being really weird has gotten in the way of me saying so to any of you individually~ But I'll have to deal with this after the return from my vacation.
Love Power!: Let's contrast some of those negative feelings with good ones -- I see you crazy bastards have graced me with over 10,000 pageviews and 500 watches. @_@ That's seriously crazy... Just to think that everytime I post anything, five-hundred viewers are alerted of it -- and that my artwork has been viewed ten thousand unique times -- that's more'n once for every person living my my hometown. x3! You guys are amazing, and definitely one of my biggest motivating factors. <3 I should really do something to make your watches worth it~ I assure you that after my return, more artwork will be short to follow. I've been waiting for a break to be able to devote my energy (normally which peaks right about when I go to work, normally, sadly. x3) into drawing, but now of course I have to go away for the first half. x3 The second half will offer me some art-lovin' time. Check my scraps -- I've uploaded two things that I'm gonna color in the near future just to show that I am liek ttly srs :3
Artists that are Amazing that you should be looking at instead of me:
yuki-chi One of my best friends, and one of the most talented fur-artists I've seen. <3
tierafoxglove She's done numerous sexy commissions for me, and there's good reaosn I've turned to her so many times!
dragonpaw I am obsessed with his character. Go and let the colors bedazzle you~ <3
huskyhund Tons of cute Growlithe and Quadruped Canine stuff :3
chuu &
tiuhu The cute Chu-loving duo of all things soft and wonderful. <3
mek Poké-LOVE. @_@ Reminiscent of
lando and
purplekecleon <3
fellarts Only been on FA for a short while this year, but an amazingly talented artist (with a strangely-alluring character @_@)
inkcookie More cute Pokélove, another artist who's rapidly showing amazing promise :3
asdfjkl03 The pastel-colors of her artwork make already incredibly cute, soft art even moreso. :3
c0nnerc00n I want ;~;
unth This is the capital example of rapid-improvement. ;3
The Unsung War: So when I last gave another try to my Audiosurf meme-thingy (which has been working successfully for the most part -- http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/366041/!) again I had the participation of the largely insane yet dedicated metalstorm -- and in his pack, he included this particular song, "The Unsung War" from Ace Combat 5. Aaaaanyways.... fuck, I've been so addicted to it. It's a super-epic, really emotional orchestral piece with both a tenor and soprano choir, and just builds up this immense feeling -- I find it hard to describe. I think it may be my newest most-favorite song ever, actually @_@ -- since it's from a video game, it's even in a legitimate position to dethrone "The Stickerbrush Symphony" (Although the two will always be on entirely different levels of awesome and it's hard to compare.) As much as I love Chipsynth songs, I think my heart I've always known that epic-ass songs like this are truly my most favorite of all genres... tl;dr? Download it here because it's fucking awesome: http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....sung%5Fwar.mp3
metalstorm is the man with the plan, by the way.
Furcadia Nonsense: If you don't like Furcadia, skip this part. x3 I have managed to pull together the effort to make some new Furcadia characters, which I'm sure will have most of my viewers groaning and sighing complacently when they roll their eyes -- but for whom it may concern:
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....%2D%20Grae.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....20Carbunkl.png

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....di%2DYoshi.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....D%20Niners.png
So I might get a Proxy with Polygamy (allowing me to run many instances of Furc at once, allowing all of them to be online) so if you use Furcaudia, feel free to bug me for an RP if you catch any of them on. ;3 I'd also not be opposed to giving any of 'em a try in MSN, too -- Also, I don't want to hear a word about any of the purchased Digos or Portraits -- I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and in my world, it's all or nothing -- things are done properly to their fullest extent (sometimes to the extent of pure silliness, as my next journal-section will highlight.), or not at all.
Desktop Gaming: A little while ago, I bought a lil' flatscreen TV for my desktop so I could have the convenience of playing my console games right from there (namely, Wii) -- but again, my OCD-ness kicked in. I like to have everything perfect, especially when it comes to my computer desk -- so I took the TV back, and spent an obscene amount of money buying a monitor like my current two and a series of strange converters to display the component signal from the Wii on a regular VGA monitor, and have the audio exported to two regular desktop speakers. It all matches and is symmetrical now, you see~ x3 (I'll probably be a ho-bag and get a picture of it later.) Bottom line! Now I can do a lot more online-fun gaming, and even use Skype and stuff for speech whilst. :3 So here's my two most important game-codes you should know:
Super Smash Brothers Brawl: 3566-1199-9411
Mario Kart Wii: 2062-9706-3091
I'm gonna try in future to leave at least one of those games on and active at times, so people can catch me online and hopefully, we can make some sweet game lovin' ;3 (Yes, c0nnerc00n! I promise we'll get some Brawl in after my vacation. x3; Now that my setup is perfect and ideal, it's finally go-time. <3)
Mario Paint Masterpeices: I can hardly make even simple songs in ModPlug Tracker, yet here TomBobBlender has mastered the living fuck out of Mario Paint's song-charter -- check this video out, the "Gourmet Race" from Kirby Superstar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KARe-nYu04A -- He's just nuts. He's got tons of videos of some amazing songs, too. (See MegaMan 2: Wily's Fortress. <3)
Well holy monkey, this journal took like two hours to type up and is like five times longer than most of my high-school essays. x3 I hope some of you found at least something interesting in that mess of text, if you bothered to read it at all. (And I totally sympathize with you if you didn't, rest assured. I've many times clicked a journal, seen a wall of text, and just clicked back, thinking, "Just... no." x3
In any case, I'll be on at night-time breifly during each night of my vacation, and I may leave a journal post here or there about stuff, maybe send a couple peoples notes or appear on MSN for a lil' bit. ;3 I wish you all the best, and thank you for watching me and tolerating me be such a smelly old Raccoon~ <3
PS: Check my journal footer! I still want more people to join my Audiosurf Meme. <3
PPS: If I die while on vacation, everyone who posts in this journal hereby agrees to get my name tattooed on their butt. <3
Well! I know most of you haven't heard much from me in the past months -- definitely nothing on the art front. Been most just coming on to FA, viewing people's art, commenting, favorite, coming agai--er wait~ x3~

c0nnerc00n I want ;~;
unth This is the capital example of rapid-improvement. ;3The Unsung War: So when I last gave another try to my Audiosurf meme-thingy (which has been working successfully for the most part -- http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/366041/!) again I had the participation of the largely insane yet dedicated metalstorm -- and in his pack, he included this particular song, "The Unsung War" from Ace Combat 5. Aaaaanyways.... fuck, I've been so addicted to it. It's a super-epic, really emotional orchestral piece with both a tenor and soprano choir, and just builds up this immense feeling -- I find it hard to describe. I think it may be my newest most-favorite song ever, actually @_@ -- since it's from a video game, it's even in a legitimate position to dethrone "The Stickerbrush Symphony" (Although the two will always be on entirely different levels of awesome and it's hard to compare.) As much as I love Chipsynth songs, I think my heart I've always known that epic-ass songs like this are truly my most favorite of all genres... tl;dr? Download it here because it's fucking awesome: http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....sung%5Fwar.mp3
metalstorm is the man with the plan, by the way.Furcadia Nonsense: If you don't like Furcadia, skip this part. x3 I have managed to pull together the effort to make some new Furcadia characters, which I'm sure will have most of my viewers groaning and sighing complacently when they roll their eyes -- but for whom it may concern:
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....%2D%20Grae.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....20Carbunkl.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....0Lancaster.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....di%2DYoshi.png
http://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....D%20Niners.png
The Canadian Government are Furfags.
General | Posted 17 years agoSo.
I got my little character webpage thingy, https://www.freewebs.com/graedius -- I use it primarily for Furcadia, so that when people click on me, they can learn a little bit more than the little one-paragraph of space that the description pane in-game natively allows. That's all fine and nice, and it works well -- I get a couple hits now'n again. But -- it's got this little thing that lets me monitor it's activities -- who's viewed my webpage, when, for how long, their IP, their location, what they looked at/saved, the referring website (if they used one), even what desktop resolution they were using -- I check periodically just so I know where all the Furfags in the world are.
I check today, and I see this: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/.....visitorov0.png
...
Someone from the Defense Research Establishment of Ottawa was looking at my furry character page? And they found it by using the search term "Raccoonery" on Google?
Man the battlestations fellow Furries, the Canadian war machine is opening it's eager eye on us!!
To be fair, the smallest increment of time the site records is "5s" -- five seconds. Anything that's even only a millisecond will register as five seconds. So my guess is that it's just a widespread search using that term, and that was only a split-second check of the Google-cache or something. But I thought I was pretty exclusive in the use of the word "Raccoonery" -- maybe it's also used for Raccoon-hunting or something?
I don't know, I just found this hilariously bizarre. x3

AudioSurf Meme - Retry! [Better idea~]
General | Posted 17 years agoOkay, so here's the deal.
Last time I tried making my AudioSurf meme idea, it didn't seem to pan out. Sure, I got about 9 participants, which is good, but really, the problem was the sheer volume of songs (and I'm not pointing fingers, I think I had more than anyone!) -- from my own point of view, the problem was that there was too many. I'd open up one of your guys' files, and just be like... "Oh hell." And go play one of my own songs -- and it seems like mostly everyone did that, too. x3
With good reason!
So I've been thinking, and if you tried it last time, I'd like you to participate again, if you'd like~ I was lookin' at Guitar Hero, and it's huge mass of songs -- why isn't it so intimidating? It's because it's broken up into small sections of five. So how about this -- let's do it again, only this time, pick five of your favorite, most-played songs, bundle 'em up in a .zip file, and upload 'em to MegaUpload (https://www.megaupload.com) or any other means through which you can allow your friends here to grab 'em. <3
Then, with such a small grouping, you can maybe give a small description of them individually, beforehand, so the viewer'll know what kind of genre it is and stuff, and maybe a little about the songs themselves. :3 That's what I'm gonna do, anyways, 'cause I'm a ho-bag. All-in-all, I'd feel much more compelled to play through a select few of a friend's favorites if it was presented like that. Would give us a little score-comparing on some of the songs we play most. I love getting into a score-war with someone, each day trying to get higher'n higher. x3
I at least will play through anyone's five-song-set, who chooses to participate with me.
And I will offer some competition if it's offered back. ;3
Alright! Well I'll proceed with my five-song rundown for anyone who cares~ <3
1) Stickerbrush Symphony, by David Wise (Video Game)
My all-time favorite song ever. Calm, relaxing, ambient, perfect for the misty bramble-ridden stages it was played upon. This is a direct rip from the game, so all of it's video-gamey goodness has been preserved. (Also, this song was remastered in Super Smash Brothers: Brawl as "Bramble Blast".)
2) Time's Running Out, by Cirrus (Breakbeat)
I first heard this song in the PS1 game, Twisted Metal 4. I was infatuated with it, it was so powerful and fast -- a perfect mixture of synthetics and real instruments. I didn't know the song's name at the time (As I only ever played the demo of the game, which didn't have appropriate credits), and I wanted the song so badly that I bought the full-version game just to rip the song from it.
3) Not another Comic Bakery remix, by Stuart Wilson (Trance)
"Comic Bakery" was a well-known Commodore 64 game way back in the day, and it's title theme is one of the most well-known Chiptunes ever made, and this remix pays tribute to an addictingly awesome song by mixing modern synthetic technology with that of old-school electronics. <3
4) Lite l'sa tankar, by tPORt (Chipsynth)
I know nothing about this song's origin, or it's creator. I found it on https://www.keygenmusic.net amongst a huge file of chiptunes that were ripped from serial-key generators. The creator(s?) is russian, and the website is just garbled nonsense to me. Either way, it's one of the best chippy songs I've ever found.
5) A Brighter Day, by Scott P. Schreer (Piano Solo)
A nice, simple, slow Piano Solo to end off the set. Or begin it, it's your choice~ I've always been fond of this one. I can hardly think of a song that's more bright and happy sounding -- "A Brighter Day" is the perfect name for it. (P.S. - I was finally able to earn "Spotlight Finish" playing this song.)
Okay!
tl;dr?
1) Get Audiosurf (You do have it, don't you?)
2) Gather together five of your favorite songs
3) Make sure they have proper tags, or at least SOME tags (not unknown: unknown)
4) Zip 'em all up and host 'em on a site like MegaUpload or a personal site
5) Make a journal like this one, post it for download, talk about it a little if you
want
6) Post a link to it here, so my list can grow bigger
7) Copy my list into your journal, so it gets spread around
8) Download other people's and have a little competition ;3
Here's the list of people who've participated.
I will update this both on this journal, and in future journals.
Hell, I might just make it my journal signature thingy~

Just a buncha stuff ~ <3
General | Posted 17 years agoFirst off! I am actually going to draw more stuff -- in fact, I am drawing some porn at this very instant. So y'can expect to hear more form me in the near future. Got a few things I'm eager to finish coloring, too. ;3
Second off! Just yesterday, I went out and bought a brand-spanking-new 19" widesceen LCD HDTV, and have it right at my computer desk (acting as my third monitor) so now I have my Wii right at my desk, and can play games whilst doing stuff. <3 Get around to finally beating some single-player games I haven't had the will to independently slug-through, as well as make online Brawling a lot easier (and more fun.)
Third off! On the note of Brawl, I found something very funny -- the last Brawl update on the Super Smash Brothers Dojo website (https://www.smashbros.com) had another set of screenshots from the game, this time from America and Japan, and including the secret characters (Lucario was only in one of them, both countries combined!) -- However, on the US site, at the bottom, it says,
However, I love how those rules don't seem to apply to his homeland, with these three suggestive pictures being posted right up alongside the rest on the Japanese Dojo site:

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....0411_067-l.jpg
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....0411_039-l.jpg (Tentacle Rape!)
Fourth off! Mmh, I'm almost at 10,000 pageviews @_@ You sexy beasts. It's you guys that keep me right on truckin' ~ <3
I guess that's all for now~ <3

25 secret songs hidden from SSB:Brawl's sountrack!?
General | Posted 17 years agoAnyone who follows Digg (https://www.digg.com) closely enough should probably have found this already, but for those who didn't -- apparently some careful snooping around on the Super Smash Brothers: Brawl disc uncovered 25 tracks that were mysteriously removed form the game -- some were taken from Melee, some were simple copypastas from their original games -- but many were entirely new compositions!
http://www.editorartist.com/album.p....._!_lost_tracks
Holy shit LOOK - Beware the Forest's Mushrooms! ... ;~;
Y'know, after listening to the complete soundtrack, I admit that this was was the only song that I'd really hoped to see in the game -- Geno, you were so close that I can almost taste it...
And look, the Hippie Battle theme, Because I Love You, Smile and Tears from Earthbound -- I was thinking that the Mother series was strangely absent of songs, particularly from the only game that us English-speakers got -- what excuse do they have for removing these from the game? >_>
Yoshi's Cookie, Mario and Luigi -- look, even the Stunt Race FX theme song! Man, I never would have imagined I'd hear anyone bother to recompose an orchestral version of that song, let alone in aSuper Smash Brothers title. x3 -- Look, even the main theme from Metal Gear Solid[/i] -- a song I thought was unusually absent as it stood.
...
I can't reason why Nintendo didn't see fit to enable these songs, but since they're there, I hope they someday do, somehow -- I totally want to Brawl to the awesomeness that is Beware the Forest's Mushrooms.
[b]Edit: Man, Smiles and Tears really is one of the saddest happy-ending songs I've heard. It really strikes me unlike anything else~
Edit 2: Oh my goodness it's ridiculous how much this game's soundtrack means to me. I've said it before but, if you've played, lived by and through, grown up with these games and songs, they just... mmh. <3

Lots and lots of stuff! (Plus Audiosurf tracks!)
General | Posted 18 years agohttp://webzoom.freewebs.com/graediu.....Workaholic.png
Art Status:
Whoa nelly, it's been quite a long time since I've done anything with this account but view, comment, save, fap -- y'know, the usual. It's been over two months since I last added a peice of artwork, so I've scanned a couple now that I feel are worth putting up -- the reason I hadn't for so long is because I was lacking in a proper sized scanner, as I bought some new high-quality paper that's too big for my old one. x3! I have yet to get a proper scanner though, so these may suffer from a bit less quality than usual until I get one -- I just really wanted to throw a couple of these up here since it's been so long!
Vacation:
I've been working my ass off the last few weeks, having had only two days off in the past three weeks, and working overtime on four occasions. x3! And being on midnight shift for them hasn't helped, leaving me effortless throughout most of the day, sleeping too long, etc -- But come March 8th, I'll have a two-week vacation readied up, just in time for the US/Canada release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, the way Jesus would have wanted it. <3 So after leaving work on March 7th, I won't have to go back until the 24th! I've yet to have had such a long break from work since I started there, so I eagerly anticipate it. We'll have friends coming over, Brawl, and hopefully I'll squeeze more drawing time in, too. :3 I look forward to it like nothing else~
Audiosurf Love (Perhaps a meme, even?)
Those close to me know that I've recently been losing a fair portion of my life to the PC-based rhythm game Audiosurf (http://www.audio-surf.com/) -- like a strange mixture of DDR, Guitar Hero, Amplitude and F-Zero, Audiosurf lets you upload your own music and will chart the note paths for it's many gameplay modes accordingly, in a unique and entertaining way that turns your song into an interactive visual, with online scoreboards to compare with friends and stuff.
However, a lot of us may have some favorites that are really obscure, and a s a result, likely will have little to no competition against (or even a way to compare scores at al.) Stormdragonblue went ahead with what I planned to do beforehand, picking a select handful of his favorite songs and uploading them for anyone who wishes to play'em in Audiosurf -- now only does it allow us to compete against each other, but may even allow us to share some interesting songs as well. (Particularily if some people have the same songs, but the embedded tags do not match as this is important for the online scoreboards.) So I have done the same! I encourage anyone who likes Audiosurf to get in on the idea, putting together a pack of some of your favorite tracks (size doesn't matter, although I'd say not much more'n 50 at most for time's sakes), identifying their key genres, uploading 'em to a site (be it a personal FTP or a site like MegaUpload) and the posting 'em up here for your friends to try out. If enough people do it, we could have a neat little community going on~
Regardless, here's mine: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KL8AY1PL
It's mainly Chiptunes, Various Electronic Styles, mixed with some gentler Ambient and Piano Solos -- with a few Video Game songs mixed in. ;3
tl;dr?
Here's the plan:
1) Get Audiosurf (You do have it, don't you?)
2) Gather together a pack of 20-50 of your favorite songs
3) Re-tag them if you want (Lots of programs can do this)
4) Zip'em all up and upload them to an FTP or a site like https://www.megaupload.com
5) Post a journal like this one, making your pack public!
6) Be sure to include at least a description of the genres involved, if not a full track list.
7) In the same journal, make a list like the one below linking to other people who've done the same!
Here, I'll compile an active list of anyone else who's made such a pack!

C'mon now, I wanna see this list fill up with more of you!
I'll gladly download other people's and try'em out if they're willing to pitch in. I encourage anyone who takes part in this event to also put a list linking to other people's packs, too, to spread awareness of the whole idea. Some might think it's dumb, but I think it's kinda neat. Allows some obscure songs to get some coverage and all. <3
So, um, I guess that's all. x3!
Expect to see and hear more from me in the near future, with some time off to devote to drawing and such! :3

No journal title can reflect my current feelings. (SSBB)
General | Posted 18 years agoApparently after only so long, someone's leaked a large portion of select songs from Super Smash Brothers Brawl's huge soundtrack.
Some of the songs they chose to put in utterly astound me, and the quality of them even more so -- every single song I could have hoped to appear, did, and remixed more awesomely than I could have hoped. @_@ I just... there's too many to even name. Brawl seems like a massive compendium of everything Nintendo's ever done -- it like, encompasses every gaming influence on my childhood. Some of these songs strike me in ways that some people simply might not understand. ;~;
If you don't want any spoilers, then don't click the link below.
But if you want to experience a truly epic ear-gasm of pure nostalgic video game music awesome-ry, check out this guy's YouTube account -- he's got many of them (and continually updating with more!) in the format of videos:
http://www.youtube.com/profile_vide.....ter&page=1
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK <3
Edit: They put the TETRIS A-TYPE THEME IN x3!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi_cpSJhzIE

Lucario and Ness in Brawl?! <3~
General | Posted 18 years agoNow, first off, above all, I know people are making some ridiculous claims all the time about who they think should be or is going to be in Brawl~ But this time, I present to you some pretty strange material that could allude to Ness and Lucario being playable characters in Brawl. Bear with me, read on, and you'll see what I mean.
The second-last Brawl update on the official site (from the date I posted this journal) was one detailing Sticker-powerups usable in the Subspace Emissary single/dual-player story mode. (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/game.....a/modea12.html) Basically, the point is that you can place stickers you find in-game on a character's trophy-base to add powerups to their abilities. (For the Subspace Emissary only.) They don't mention it, but the icons in the bottom-right show what characters they can be used on. (http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/.....rsiconsmn1.png) Also, note that some of the stickers had their icons cleverly removed. (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/.....noiconsjt5.png) This either means that the sticker works for everyone, or that the icons were doctored out to protect their super-secret characters from being revealed.
Now, on to part II of our story:
There's a Japanese site, showing a game play montage of Super Smash Brothers Brawl (That many of you may not have seen -- check it out as it's imperative to my point: http://wii.com/jp/movies/smashbros-movie1/) It shows a bunch of fighting, basic gameplay strategies -- but the real kicker is at 4:20 - 4:22, where it shows a stickerbook that highlights Groudon, Lucas, and Sonic before flipping pages. The stickers, unlike the screenshots on the update-page above, do not appear to show any character icons -- it merely passes them by and goes on to the next scene.
Now, this may seem like a stretch, and I hope this works the way it worked for me -- bear with me, and please just try it, I know someone else was able to work it correctly as I learned about this possible hint from someone on Lulz.net.
The moment it flicks to the sticker page at 4:20 and shows Groudon highlighted, pause it immediately -- again, you can't see any icons. But now, unpause it, and watch very carefully, very quickly -- something happens in the following second, the video vertically reformats, and for a second you can see text and icons appear -- here's a screenshot in case you can't view the video, or aren't fast enough, or just don't feel like trying it: http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/76.....riozoomll7.png. First we have Pikachu, the Pokémon Trainer, and.... what's that third one?! Is it Lucario? -- Oh yeah, and there's Jigglypuff there, too.
As well, try the same thing a short moment after, pause the movie when Groudon is still highlighted, only a moment before it shifts to Lucas -- you'll see this hidden screenshot emerge when it vertically reformats: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/55.....esszoomls8.png -- You can see Ness' icon there, beside Lucas'. (I think we all honestly expected Ness to return, but this might make things seem a bit more concrete. On such a note, just my opinion, but I expect the majority of (if not all of) the cast of SSBM to be back. At least the biggest main ones that everyone's whining abut, like Ganondorf and Captain Falcon.)
In addition, here's the link to the thread in which a poster first showed his own evidence of these findings. (Just to prove I didn't doctor them up myself!): http://lulz.net/furi/res/166939.html -- Check the second poster's comment. This also proves I'm not the first to see it, too -- I just decided to check myself to see if he was just a Photoshopping-bullshitter.
So yes!
Someone, please try this, and tell me you got the same result!
shippomaru saw me do it, he knows I'm not crazy! x3
Now I know this doesn't necessarily mean anything -- it could be false, fake, or just some Japanese asshole trying to fuck with us.
But still... I'm excited if this is the truth. :3
Edit: Although they look the same, the icons for the Pokemon Trainer and Ness are certainly not the same: http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/98.....rvsnesskx3.png -- so the icon appearing on Lucas' sticker is most certainly Ness.
Edit 2: Other sources claim that the icons were plainly visible early in the video's release -- they changed it to make them invisible, but using the method above, you can still force them to appear.
Edit 3: Well, whether if through me or not, https://www.digg.com found out about this, so now the whole internet knows. I'm not very special anymore, now am I~ It's funny that it surfaced not even a full day until after I mentioned it, isn't it~ <3
Edit 4: Apparently, the GameFAQs user "Edible" found this stuff out almost a day before me: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/ge.....topic=40906054 I did not know this at the time of making this journal, but I guess I can't claim any originality. ;~; My fifteen minutes of fame, gone!
Keepin' up with Science
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, it's certainly been a while since I've made one of these -- and equally as long since I've uploaded anything! it's not good when all of my submissions state they were added one month ago, at the least. But since that time, I have actually drawn a couple things, ones I'm really proud of, but want to finish properly before I upload them -- so they may not be uploaded next, necessarily, as I've been worrying about them too much to get anything of my own volition done~ (They're Christmas presents, you see). I got lots of stuff planned in all respects~ So if I promised you a Christmas drawing,
Also I've been on midnight shift at work, and that drains all the love from the Universe -- tonight's my last night, and then I should be good to go, I hope. <3 I'm gonna try fiddling around with real-media coloring sometime, as for Christmas I got big packs of Prismacolor pencils and markers. I only hope I can put such high-end equipment to worthwhile use. x3! I also got a nice big pad of acid-free paper to use with it but unfortunately it's too big for my scanner. I might have to use something else until I can find a big flatbed scanner, or else I'll never get anything up again. D:
Also, I'm super stoked at all the watches, comments, faves, and pageviews I've gotten since then -- Nearing 7,000 views! You guys are one of the biggest factor driving me onwards. :3

Holiday goodness, the year's end!~ (Also: PS3 owners, please
General | Posted 18 years agoOh man.
Well as each of us has made a highly repetitive journal of, my little vacation with
shippomaru,
menos, and
unth has drawn to an end, each returning to their respective places (Except for that pesky squirrel, who's always hanging around! o:). It was a magical time of splendor and wonder~ But really, of an unparalleled mutual interest and feeling -- so uncommonly have we all been able to so freely share and talk about feelings and interests as we have these past two weeks. :3 Me'n Shippo miss the two of you already, and look forward to a day when things won't have to part like this. :3
I can taste the future already! And it tastes.... fruity. ;3
I got a bunch of art lined up, and as I got some Prismacolor Pencil crayons and markers for Christmas, we'll see how those impact my drawing-ness. :3
My time's been split with the heavy playing of Gran Turismo 4 -- I've loved the series and this is no exception. I'm really hyped for Gran Turismo HD, whenever it comes out -- so much that I'll probably buy a Ps3 just for it (well, not just for it, but primarily to play it upon purchase.)
But that leads me to a very important question I have to any watchers with a Playstation 3! You know how on the Xbox 360, you can load your own music and replace the songs native to games with whatever you feel like? I wanna know, can you do this on the Ps3? that'd make Gran Turismo HD all that more fucking win-ful. <3

One year later~
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, it's been about a year since I started uploading stuff here, and started drawing FOR SERIAL.
And now, I'm really glad to be able to look back upon my earliest stuff and see a vast, huge improvement over even that -- In no small part thanks to the many people who've watched me and commented on my stuff! You've all been so very encouraging this whole time, and I'll look forward to reading your feelings as time goes on. :3
So now I can only look to the future and hope that with more continuous effort (as I didn't draw anything from January to May), I'll only see my ability rise further and further. <3 (And thus increase the quality of smutty goodness I can allow into this world!)
But I still have to say -- I think http://www.furaffinity.net/view/863793/ is my best picture yet. >_> <3

General | Posted 18 years ago5000 pageviews and almost 300 watchers~ <3!
I feel le sexy. There are a million with five, ten, a hundred times as many as me, but they all began somewhere. <3
So yeah! Um. Stuff been going on.
Rock Band: We ordered this early from the States as it doesn't come out in Canada until the 20th of December or something equally ridiculous. But in any case, it's a pretty nifty experience, probably better if we had a more consistent number of multiple players -- the drums are pretty crazywhack. Strangely, it seems a lot more like Guitar Hero than Guitar Hero III did. I guess the change in developers truly did affect it~
I really want a rhythm game more attuned to my tastes in music, though. :/
Together Gettings: On Dec 15th and 16th respectively,
unth
menos shall be coming to visit us! They'll serve as our other band members in Rock Band, you see. it's truly our secret-plan for inviting them back.) So it'll be like a super-mini fur-con. Grae-con. Yes. <3 (Good foodings and times shall be had by all!
Job Upgrade: Instead of just a menial floor-packer, I'm upgrading to being a Seasoner at work, so I might actually have some useful input into the creation of product. Not that that matters at all or anyone here cares -- I just felt like I should mention it for some reason. x3!
Artly Hiatus: I'll just come out and say that I don't really know when I'm ever gonna do anything, for anyone else or for me -- I can easilly see how actually significant super-talented artists can get so backed up with what they do and commission -- I'm just kinda... here, and I already feel behind with a couple requests and such. x3 Once I get off of midnight shift (which seems to sap my ability and creativity), I'll be seeing about what I can manage to draw, but henceforth I will make no promises as to what I'll draw for whom and in what order, just 'cause it's a commitment I likely won't act upon right now. x3 I just want a break from work~~~
Mourning: Agh prior to Sonic being announced, Brawl would have been out two days ago. Damnit all to hell. x3!
So yes, in conclusion I love you all and you make my pants happy. <3

Guess I should finally play along and do one of these things.
Who the hell starts these and how do they get out? x3
1. Post these rules.
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random (hopefully interesting) facts about themselves.
3. Tags should write a journal of these facts.
4. At the end of the post 8 more bloggers are tagged and named.
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them that they're tagged.
______________________________________________________
1. Graedius. It's pronounced Gray-dee-uss -- and the name has absolutely nothing to do with Gradius, the video game, as a lot of people seem to imagine (understandably). It actually stems from a sacred dagger item found in Final Fantasy VI by the name of Graedus, just tweaked for various reasons over time.
2. I started looking at furry stuff (smut and not) back when I was about 12 or 13 -- and was more surprised than anything to find out that there was a huge group of people who shared my similar interests! However at the time sites like FA and Fchan didn't exist (As far as I know?) and so I had to rely on stupid Yahoo Groups, personal pages and other such unreliable sources until I found VCL and later, FA/Fchan/AGNPH.
3. I've got a thing for old games (Primarily Nintendo, I'll admit.), often mucking about on the internet and in some pawn shops for classic games in their original cartridge form -- I'm slowly completing my collection. However, it doesn't end there, as I'm such a whore that I bought a few of the Virtual Console versions of particular games, as well (Wireless Wii Remote works dandilly as a NES controller.) I suppose this is a result of a childhood filled with playing such games. <3
4. In some variety of sick twisted irony, I'm actually allergic to a fair amount of animal dander, a large variety of cats and dogs that I know of for sure. However, I'm led to believe it doesn't end with just those -- it's just that I don't have contact with many other varieties of animals. If I wasn't, I'd totally have a cute meowy kitten at my side. ;~; I might bite the bullet and find a way to do it anyways -- I've come across select dogs and cats whom've had no effect upon me, so it might just take careful research.
5. My character's had a few significant changes over the years. (However until my first 'furry' incarnation of myself, I did not engage in role play of almost any sort.) Before I acknowledged myself as a furry, my very first incarnation was that of a (yellow) Yoshi (a transition I've known a lot of people to make, much to the chagrin of a particular individual.) After a good long while, I suppose I wanted something new and took on a human Red Mage avatar, one that lasted for some time -- eventually changing to a raccoon Red Mage, then simply the raccoon-morph I am today, (which has thus far lasted longest and shall'nt change) plain and simple. :3~
6. The big event that sealed my fursona as a Raccoon was actually the game Pocky and Rocky on the Super NES. Rocky was this insanely cute little Raccoon (rather Tanuki) with the cutest happiest sprites and poses ever. A, uh.... friend of mine, as a result of my appreciation for both Rocky and the Red Mage job class from Final Fantasy, drew me a picture of the two combined: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....FirstStyle.jpg -- It was made of cute and win so I used that as my avatar for sometime, until a certain lizardly lady drew me as a plain old anthro-'coon sometime later: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a.....us/028copy.png -- with lasting influence. With a significant measure of time, I found Yuki-chi on Y!Gallery back in the day and commissioned him -- and gained the final appearance I have now. :3~ *Wags*
7. The number 333 haunts my life in an almost unreal way. It stemmed from the game "Eternal Darkness" where the main character has to set a clock to 3:33am to progress through a certain point -- and since then I've seen it everywhere, almost at least once every single day. Clocks. Phone numbers. Pixel counts. File sizes. Sticker counts. Prices. Special deal prices. Scrawled onto vehicle wrecks left in industrial lots. Stats. Ranomizers. Addresses. Time (Elapsed). Countless other things -- two weeks in a row, my credit balance, from totally random spending that I was not monitoring in any way, both ended with $333.00-even remaining. If I was to believe in anything supernatural, I believe this number would be that thing. I recently got involved in a lottery ticket thing at work and of the six numbers I picked, the first two were 3 and 33. If I won even ten dollars I would swear to believe in MAGIC.
8. ...Secretly deep down, I hope somebody somewhere has masturbated to my artwork. x3
____________________________________________________________
Do you know how much I just typed?!
I don't have the effort to find eight people and tag them with this silly nonsense -- anyone significant would ignore me, and most people I know who are taggable have been tagged already. D:
I'll tag the following people who can participate if they feel like it:
shippomaru
crusatyr
menos
unth
lorethian
stormdragonblue
raeth
momiji-kun
...Oh look, I did find eight people.
Well I hope you're happy!

Do you know how much I just typed?!
I don't have the effort to find eight people and tag them with this silly nonsense -- anyone significant would ignore me, and most people I know who are taggable have been tagged already. D:
I'll tag the following people who can participate if they feel like it:
shippomaru
crusatyr
menos
unth
lorethian
stormdragonblue
raeth
momiji-kun...Oh look, I did find eight people.
Well I hope you're happy!
I heart you guys! (Plus questions!)

It may pale in comparison to some, but for me it's a major landmark.
You all are awesome wonderful sauceness -- every one has meant so much to me!
But I must ask -- if you favorite, comment! I'd like to know your thoughts as well. <3
I'm spending all my time coloring right now, to get some of those older images colored and out of the way before drawing some new stuff (although I know I'll end up drawing anew before finishing them - I just can't hold back! I've so many ideas. <3)
Also,
Seems everyone's doing these question meme things -- so ask me five questions, anything at all and I shall answer to the best of my ability. :3

Fuck yes.
Fuck yes.
What did I say, what did I say to all you nay-sayers?!

To anyone in my close physical vicinity:
I so call him. He is awesome. <3

I am the devil. (I have never cleared my submissions or journals.~~)
Also: I love you guys so much. When I come on and see like 20 favorites and comments, it makes me go <3333 inside :3!!
Also: I lucked out and got an awesome four day weekend here! So I'm gonna spend a lot of it coloring old stuff and drawing new stuff. Likely more of the latter because I'm so excited and hyped for drawing -- but I really need to catch up on old things!
Also: I just edited this journal like seven times.

You know...
General | Posted 18 years agoIt's really ridiculous how much better drawings look in reality than they do when scanned. x3
I am gonna eventually start coloring things, by the way -- I'm just eager to make more new doodles as well. :3
