My heart hurts so much
General | Posted 5 years agoKisa has been really going down hill the past couple of days. She has been eating a little bit, but not much. She is 16 years old and I have had her since middle school.
This year can suck my left nut. Fuck anyone who says you shouldn't cry or get upset over pets dying.
She's not even gone yet and I'm crying my fucking eyes out.
I'm planning on getting my first tattoo, it's going to be her pawprint on my arm.

General | Posted 5 years agoEarly in 2010 when I was so depressed that I could not will myself to move from my bed for like, two hours, and I was just laying there listening to some random playlist site and someones playlist was good until there was like a long ass stretch of blood on the dance floor songs and I hated every second of it but I was also very sad so I just lay there and suffered for a little bit until that group of songs started to loop over and over unprovoked...like there were other songs on that playlist after that section but, it would not proceed to the other songs.
And eventually, I was so pissed off that I got up to physically skip to the next set of songs in that playlist and. To this day I thank whatever hell demon it was that pissed me off that much that I had to get out of depression nest to keep my ears from bleeding further.
Sometimes I get really vivid memories of that day.
Today was one of those days.
Felt like writing about it.
Not feeling great lately but not so low that I do that to myself again.

I'm in the mood to do some head shot trades.
I think I'll do two to three (if I get any sort of interest here, I know this gallery has been very dead.)
This isn't first come first served, this is mostly based on characters and my confidence in being able to draw them right lmao.
Leave a comment here with the character you would like me to draw and I'll pick from there!
I am working on finishing up my half of a trade on DA right now, and I am very much slammed by work right now so the turn around for my half will likely be 2-3 weeks, 3 at the very latest!

General | Posted 6 years agoSo I have been pretty dead mentally and physically lately. Like I'm literally rotting as I type this. BUT.
I'm depressed and stressing about everything. I'm planning on moving out this year and into my friends house, and we're gonna go to DIDNEY WORL and I'm going to STAR WAR LAND and I'm gonna bulD A DROID AND ride stuff and throw up most likely because I've always been scared of heights and shit unless CORONAVIRUS gets us first.
So I've been trying to get my stuff together and work on my ged and yeah. Yeh.
But today I have THINGS to show you. I have been WORKING on SHIT.
First I was going through a very old sketchbook from 2015 and I found some stuff I actually got done that year and I guess I never posted it?

General | Posted 6 years ago I've lost my tablet pen so I've been kind of on a art hiatus for a little bit. I still have several requests to work on and I do plan on finishing them up. I may be buying a new tablet pen Friday if it doesn't turn up between now and then.
I went and got some microns and things today and I have a bunch of colored pencils (mostly crayolas lmao) sitting around so I might start practicing with some traditional art again.
After I get this group of requests up I likely won't be open again until october.

General | Posted 6 years agoJust because I now feel like this needs to be said, and I should explain how I take requests and my method of doing them.
Basically I plan on opening up 3-5 request slots every month. Mostly these requests will be either warm up doodles, which may or may not be lined and colored. I plan on taking up to 100 requests before I start taking commissions, as I do plan on taking commissions in the future. But I want to practice with converting other peoples characters into my style.
(the only months I may not do these are July (Due to art fight) or around the Holidays.)
Some requests may be simple, single direction, flat drawings while others I might press myself to break out of my comfort zone. Most WILL be head shots, but if I really want to work with the character more I may do a full body or even a full background.
How I pick who I will draw differs each time. I do not plan on posting lists of who has been picked when I'm picking purely based on which characters stand out to me. Other times, I will do a random number picker and if I do that I WILL post who won a slot.
I will not open for more request until the ones that I currently am taking are completed. I do not give out times in which you can really expect to your requests to be completed because I'm busy. I work two jobs atm and I have other things going on.
If you are not picked for a current round, there will always be more opportunities. (Well, until I decide to close these off permanently but that's going to be a while) You are always welcome to post your refs in future openings. Please do not be discouraged if you are not picked, and please do not harass me or others that may have been picked.
Using the artwork I draw for you: You are allowed to re-post your art if you like. I only ask that you do not edit it in anyway, you do not remove my watermark/name and you do not claim the artwork as your own.
I might add to this later. Just made a journal to post on future openings that goes a little more in depth. Thanks. 🙂 Contact stuff

(Mention of family member loss below (Both human and animal) just sayin'.)
A lot has happened and very little of it has been very good.
One of my uncles passed away in January, he had a lot of health issues and wasn't very good at taking care of the issues that he had. He was getting worse and worse,
and it was hard to watch him continuing to not try and better himself. Not really sure what to say about this one...It was rough, but I kinda saw it coming. Didn't make saying goodbye pleasant or easy, I mean...But I was much more mentally prepared for this one I guess...He was the reason that I got into things like marvel and dc comics back when I was little. He got me into a lot of animation as well. He was a great artist, very talented on many levels. Just..sucks that he's gone.
He was really looking forward to Black Panther specifically, and infinity war. I've seen black panther twice for him, and also because it was really good.
I left my retail job after months and months of plotting to do so. My mom had worked at the same place for ten years and they fired her three weeks before Christmas on shitty grounds. Didn't even recognize her for being there for a fucking decade whenever her anniversary came up. I worked there for two years, and put my two weeks notice in. They proceeded to not even call me to tell me they didn't need me to come in multiple nights in a row, I would show up and they would immediately turn back around and leave because they didn't need me. I worked the shoe department and it was fucking awful.
Most recently my cat, Bruce, had thrown a clot in his leg. He had been jumping up and onto the desk and didn't make it all of the way because a chair was in his way. He couldn't pull himself onto the desk fully and his legs were caught in the back of the wooden chair...He couldn't move either one of them, so we took him to an emergency vet since this was at like...11:00 at night. So we get him there, get the x-rays taken and such, and are told that he has a clot in the back of the legs. Which is what they suspected at first, due to his not being able to move or feel either of his legs and his temperature dropping drastically. The outcome for him wasn't very good, recovery wasn't likely as he was almost certain to throw another clot the same day. And even if that didn't happen, he could also have had heart problems because of the clot. I've never had to put down a cat, and I was very attached to Bruce.
We rescued him from being destroyed in a shelter. They were almost desperate to get rid of him, because he was so close to being put down. He was a bombay cat, and he had a little crooked tail. He was four when we got him. We had lost an older black cat due to old age earlier the same year, and he looked just like Midnight. He was a very sweet boy, he always purred and was very playful.
I was very attached to him. And I wasn't ready to lose him in any sense. I was a fucking pitiful mess when they told us our options, and how grim they were. I couldn't have let him suffer. Knowing that he was in pain killed me.
And then I got shit on by my hotel job for calling out. I had a panic attack and I felt sick all fucking day. I hadn't been able to stop crying until 3 am.
Also I had started my other job the night he had been put down. I had been feeling so confident that night that maybe things were going to actually get better and then that fucking happened.
I want to draw something proper for Bruce, but it's going to take a while. I might post a few pictures of him in my gallery, dunno.
I still have two cats, one has been with me since middle school and the other is turning ten this year. They're both getting to be old ladies (one already is) but, yeh. Still planning to adopt another little black cat whenever I feel it's time and everything has settled.
