I'm back at Twitch again! I tried ages ago, and I enjoyed it but was a little lonely!
Picarto used to be comfy to draw at, and I still like it but felt I couldn't really game there too if drawing got too tiring.

There's a few friends I now have join me (and join them when I can!) and I'm also slowly getting back to drawing!

SO! Anthrocon!!

First and foremost, I won't be in the Den or the Alley, long story short I don't want to sell at big events anymore until I'm ready. Though I will definitely want to draw and hang out with folks! (trades??? 8)c I may be willing to trade for cute plushies or food as well haha!) I'll probably be looking for the Zoo/Lounges or any parties where folks might be drawing together.

*I'll also have stickers and pins on me to trade with folks too. If that's anything people care to do!

I'm excited a bit more than usual as this year is special to me. My first ever furry convention was Anthrocon 2004, back when it was at the Adams Mark in Philly. It was intimidating, I was so underprepared and made every mistake you can think of. From riding with near strangers in a beat up old crown vic that overheated, and I had to buy a muffler for. (wasn't even my car) Realizing the cost of that muffler was ALL the money I had, so I arrived at a con with NO badge, NO room no NOTHING cause I had to use all my money on that. (Wasn't even paid back) so I had to bum rooms and beg for food. It was... beyond awful in all of those senses.

But. I met so SO many people! I had been in the fandom for a few years now (1997/2000-ish was my rough "discovery" phase of figuring out what furry was) and I had been trading art with folks on VCL, and reading comics and admiring art for years. Seeing those artists in person, and meeting folks I drew for online and just...getting to hang out and yell about furry stuff and art was beyond joyful. The trip was rough, but the good memories were very worth it.

That was 20 years ago.

I've not had the most exciting life since then, but I love the furry fandom so much. Seeing it explode like it has is terrifying but exciting at the same time! I hope I can attend for many more years, when cost and travel ability allows of course! (I want to get to TFF, ANE and so many more! Is there room-share pages? X3) For now tho, I do a lot of VRchat, and am still around places like bluesky, twitter (x), here and a bunch of discords.

I hope to be open for art again sometime, or be able to re-launch my patron or something similar.
Either way, I can't wait to say hi to friends, old and new.

Hey folks, been meaning to talk about what's up with me this year and how I need a little help. Last time I visited NY to see my Nana things didn't go well and we had to bring her to the hospital. It & a nursing home drained my family of nearly all they had in 2 months. he just got moved into my moms house, & they desperately need someone to help out for a little bit. I can go, but...I cannot drive and don't have any money saved up since I don't have a job. Long story short, I'll be in upstate NY alone, and I need help.

She might not make it for much longer, and it's hitting me hard. My Nana is my favorite person, the reason I'm an artist, and I want to make her time left a comfy one. Heya all! Last time I chatted here was July, when I started my Twitch channel! Twitch went well for a bit, I hope to return to it next year. End of the year has gotten a bit busy and messy, I know I'm a little hard to reach. (I keep a twitter which I use near daily, but might have to move it soon, I'll update if that happens!)

I'm considering getting back into Patreon in 2023, I could really use the income and help backing my comics! If you noticed they all *stopped* it's because I ran out of time and money to just casually work on them. Paid work first. I also take care of my house and cats so time has been short. Also been living with a temp roomate! She's doing well, but space here is cramped so my stress has been a little high.

Haha! You know, something I've noticed whenever I post/hang out on FA, even if it's been months. Folks still use it, it's still a fairly popular site. I feel comfy here. FA's honestly been my home since (checks my front page) 2005! omg. oof.

Uh! Well I haven't been up to too much. Pandemic n' all. Personally, I've been more than a little lost. What I mean is, I've been drawing anthro art (online) for nearly 20 years and I'm tired, but don't know much else? And drawing for a hobby/job gets mentally taxing. I'm still sketching and I still have ideas, but they haven't gone anywhere. Motivation to continue the projects I have (comics) are there but I need funding/time. My health is okay-ish. Thanks to friends I've been fighting my illnesses hard, and doing the best I can. Trying to be optimistic even tho I'm scared. It is what it is!

Gonna post a bunch here in the next few weeks, just commissions and other little characters/project things. I kinda flew to twitter for a few years and I still like it, but I missed FA a lil bit. ;>

I need a lot of time/medical help before I can open for commissions normally again. But I'd like to, as it's my only income.

Haha I got a little tired of seeing my journal from 2019 on here! So here's a new one!

The end of 2019 was really busy for me, in the thick of moving to our new house, Ryoku and I just had so much to do. We also attended MFF which was wonderful. I came home with a bit of a backlog of work though, and it's still been keeping me busy. A lot of fun projects though! I'll slowly be posting what I can here. On FA it takes so long to upload and I just, stopped enjoying it. It's a bit too tedious now.

Hmm, first bit of this year went okay. I had a bit of a sad and cold trip up to NY to see my family for my birthday. My friend from Florida was there too and we had a good time re-connecting. I also got to see an old pal Urban-Coyote for dinner as well and it was awesome. Talking a lot about the ye olde furry days is hilarious to me and there's so much to remember it feels like. Anyone else around from Yerf/VCL/Furnation days? I still can't believe I've been posting art for 19-ish years. Just. Wild. My husband and I met on the VCL forums and have been together 7 years so I'm constantly reeling at how long it's been! I MISS forums. Discord does not do it for me.

Last con I attended was FurtheMore which was interesting. New hotel was pretty, if a little small feeling. Roomed with strangers who were kind but there's something to be said for rooming with people you just don't know at all. I was incredibly lonely. Ughh I hope I never have to ever do that again.

Speaking of cons, all my planned ones have been cancelled (for good reason, due to the pandemic currently affecting the world) I know it's hard to make those decisions. The con I'm staff on I'm relieved stepped down. I was just...not ready for it. Complicated feelings are involved with that one too and I'll probably be stepping down. I just don't like the other members and feel very ignored and insulted often.

Sorry!! I haven't written long journals in a super long time. Just twitter posts, haha!! I wish everyone the best of luck tho, I may be trying to pick up little small merch items that I can afford or commissions! I want to buy art! Or trade if I have time!! I want big himbo/bara art >:)

I so rarely make journals here, but eyy!

So far so good in our new house. (Ryoku and I bought our first one! We are SO done with apartment hopping) It's really cute! And is nice for the two of us. We kinda moved into a super furry area of Columbus too, so there's that! Ryoku is working on making a 'gaming room' in the finished attic, full of all his retro and new systems, and possibly board games too. I finally have an office and a lot more comfy room to myself. It's so good. We aren't ready for parties haha, but maybe someday!

I'm struggling with art ideas and commissions lately. I'm getting back to work though! Ever since making a Trello I have forgotton to both link it here, and show a worklist here again. I often say I'm busy, and it's because I take the bulk of my commission work from conventions then work on them at home during the next few months. We want to make the move to a house, finally. But that's a cost I don't think we can sink yet. My 7th year anniversary with big blue just passed and it made me nostalgic for old furry forums and chat groups. Can't believe we can thank VCL's art trade forums for bringing us together! Dunno what I would've done without the fandom, honestly. It's given me lasting friendships, art growth, and somewhere to belong. I remain always grateful for that <3

There's been a lot going on with me lately, hard to really describe all of it.

Family issues are at a stressful high, with my brother being put in jail and for a situation that is hard to talk about. I don't even know who he truly is, (we're 12 years apart, with me as oldest) and what he was arrested for is really a crushing point. I live 2 states away so I was in no way knowledgeable, and feel ultimately detached. Yet everyone keeps filling me in and asking me for help and money. I don't even have funds to take care of my regular medical probs much less someone else's.

Anthrohio has been a bit rough to work with, I've been on staff this year and it's really unorganized and hard to get messages to everyone, and word/feed back when I need it. It's a job I took on eagerly, but I didn't think I'd be made the head of a department and for everyone to disrespect me so much. I can't wait to see folks at the con, but if I'm not worried about family or commissions it's this.

I can no longer keep up with patreon and may in fact cancel it. Thank you to all who've supported me!

MFF this year was the most intense it's EVER been! I loved the set up of the Artist Marketplace and the Alley. It gave us all the most space I've seen, and a lot of traffic flow. Only problem I had was I was unable to ever stop talking and get to drawing. Heh! I appreciate the attention though, I was moved to tears but the amount of folks I saw and the kind words and hugs from everyone. I'm normally a very nervous and anxious person but at conventions I'm overjoyed to see so many familiar faces, and want to do my best as an artist and a friend. Thank you all who came to see me! Even if only for a moment, you all mean so much to me.

Hope the holidays go alright for everyone. I have problems getting to see my family every year, not being able to drive and plane prices being high keep me from seeing them every year. It's only a few people, as most of my family has forgotten me. But I do miss them, and wish it was easier to just get there, and enjoy my time without rushing. The friends I have nearby help the best they can, and I've realized over the years that it's possible to gather friends who feel even closer than family. People you can be yourself around. And I'm grateful for it.

Been working hard for my https://www.patreon.com/Muddlekin, and thanks to a handful of generous folks I am nearly done with my first comic! More are coming, though I'm still trying to work on myself and kinda find out what I'm doing. Every little bit helps me so much. Ryoku and I moved to a new apartment (5 years in the old house! that was HARD! Hence my general hiatus!)

Unfortunately, due to the move, I can't get a job. Long story short it's really not possible. (I neither drive, or have a bus anywhere near me.) I rely on what I make with patreon and with kofi now.

Commissions as well actually, are on the fast track to opening again. I've given a lot of thought to what my time is worth, and I've been studying and attending what few cons I can to save money and get experience. Structuring myself to be a better artist and worker.

Other than that, I have had a crazy last few months! Lived with during our month long move/displacement, and have been finally getting to build an office here! I also saved money and got myself a Nintendo switch. It's...so much fun. Gifts are hard to get myself and I'm still embarrassed for buying it! Haha...ahhh

IMPORTANT NEWS - Ryoku, Espent and I will be moving soon!! We've been given 2 months to move out of the house we've been renting for the last 4(??) years. It's been rough but comfortable here. And this move isn't an angry one. The reasoning isn't due to us, heck in the park we're in we're some of the few that pay rent and on time. Our Park owner can't keep paying for the high taxes, and missing tenants. So we're expendable. We were given the option to buy this place ourselves but don't want it for many reasons. So, now we have some packing and decisions to go through!

I was intending to have commissions open soon (VIA a google form, please do not note me! I've had trouble organizing them and have decided to not really rely on them if possible. Sorry to those who've sent notes recently, I sometimes get a lot and it stresses me out when I'm not open/available for work. Lately, I know I haven't been open for work lately. I've also been shifting my focus slowly towards work I actually enjoy drawing. But something troubling me, is the lack of feedback. Unless I draw something with ridiculous proportions, or something very fetish heavy I...barely get a response. Usually from my long time fans (I see you <3 Y'all keep me going honestly) but I mean...

Popularity has never been a big thing to me. I love creating, and have always liked drawing and bringing my ideas to life. Selling myself is difficult, cause I'm afraid of working too much like I have in the past. (and getting burnt out, heck I'm still recovering from a really big burn out years ago) But the truth is I need to work, I need the help and feedback. Where I live a job is not really in the options. So art IS my job.

I've been trying to run a patreon, but I can use all the feedback and support I can get. Are there other ways I don't know of? Something I'm not drawing enough of? Or are folks just not paying attention to FA or furry sites any more.

Sorry for having a bit of pride and feeling like I need feedback, but I've been working really hard. Hearing nothing makes me feel terrible, like I did something wrong. Soon I'll have a google form for commissions open again, And I'll be attempting to afford a few cons.

What's been goin' on with me?

I really need a little more help with it, but for now I'm super grateful! Having it has let me get more personal work done. Just a tiny bit. And though the comic isn't perfect, it feels like I can actually get it done thanks to the assistance! It really warms my heart.

Home life is a bit jumbled as usual, I, in case anyone didn't know, live with 4 other people. (one is my husband of course) It's really rough, and very draining on my social and mental energy. I pretty much have no privacy? And it's been this way for years. It's definitely a constant stressor in my day to day life. There are times when it's alright though, usually when everyone else is at work. Long story short though, it's been really hard and the lack of space/private work space is just wearing me down.

Things might look up this year though! We'll see! Ryoku and I are sorta looking to move/buy a house??? It's all new and scary but we want it so bad.

Been playing quite a few games inbetween drawing to let off stress and enjoy a good story. Just 100%'d Horizon Zero Dawn and I am NUTS for that game!!! I love it so much! I play Overwatch a little bit too, though I'm not super great! Mostly just play Orisa, Dva, Roadhog (any tank really lol) Junkrat and Mercy. Just started the new Monster Hunter game, but it's on my friend's PS4 so I have to wait for the PC version.

Hey all! No real reason for a journal~ Just feels like I need an update? Haha!

I had a heck of a battle with deep depression around Anthrocon. It was very rough for me, but my friends and husband are good people <3. It sapped my want to draw, and in general I've had problems drawing all year. Give or take little bursts of creativity. Feels weird to just suddenly have such a long burnout. Otherwise though, life is much the same! Been playing a ton of Overwatch (I. Am not great at it. Heh! But I love the characters!!!) Getting mad at Starbound for constantly breaking my game with each update =^=; and replaying Night in the Woods. Otherwise not much new there!

Saw Blade Runner 2049 and wept, it was so good. I was sick at the theater but goodness it was just what my cyber/apoc punk heart was hungry for. If more than a bit somber and sad though. Actually not seen many other movies, cause I don't get out much. (Ryoku works very hard!) But I'm open to suggestions! Dying to see more things. But my skepticism is very real.

I'm actually open for commissions, just sort of off my usual form! For now if you are interested take a peek at my "commissions tab". I'm ALWAYS open for badges, and traditional art! Digital is hard for me sometimes, as my cintiq gives me problems. (color/drawing angle is weird) but yeah! Please, if you're interested give me a poke! I prefer easy to understand ideas, & simple themes rather than big huge scenes.

Near the end of each month, I dig through sketchbooks and my old files to bring 20-30 image sketch packs as well!

I really, really want to get this off the ground. Making comics is a dream for me, and I have SO MANY ideas written or sketched out but no time or money to finish them! This would be such a great way to help me out. If I actually reach higher goals too, I can have sketch streams where I take small commissions or offer background roles in the comics themselves! (maybe even offer co-star roles ooh) I also may offer alternate endings for the comics! I love both the serious and hilariousness of real life and sex so why not make my characters have fun too?

The first two/three I have on the docket are:

"Breedin' Season" (Male - Gay themed) is about some good ol' boys down in the everglades, and some reminiscing about a hot n' heavy lovin' summer afternoon.

"The Real Treasure" (M/F - Sizeplay) Recounts the tale of a knight who heard about a dragoness being sweeter than any treasure she guards.

"Coin Operated Joy" (M/F -) It's closing time at the Arcade and Delphine can't get the last patron to leave...

Cabin trip this weekend with my husband <3
Ryo has been working on fixing up a cabin for his boss, and as a thank you is letting us stay there for free! There's no internet I think?? So I'll be happily cut off for a few nights. I need this small break badly, and being able to indulge in nature (since I live so urban lately ;^;) is very very welcome.

I tend to overwork myself quite a lot at conventions, but I want to try not to this year! Hopefully I can do more trades! If you want to trade, by all means flag me down I'd love to do one! It's one of the only times I can take them, is at conventions.

I'll be there for sure, it's fairly local for Ryoku and I. I'd like to do trades, maybe take a few sketches (if I can) but keeping it sorta casual. Also, if you're any of the sponsor/patron levels I did the art for those this year! (art for one of the badge levels too) I'll share it after the con is over!

Uhh, oh! I made a name for patreon and might be starting it up soon. It'll be for comics and world building. (maybe pinups that people can vote on too!) It'll be under the name "Tiny Tufts".
