So as an update, I'm recovering from some small illness this month, so I'm taking a break off of art for now. Will reopen commissions on the first of next month on a first come first serve basis and will also be working on some YCHs. I've gotten some calls for some YCHs involving Scylla so that'll be what I work on first.

Also a couple of ideas that I wanna run past people:

1) Furry Female Wrestling: so I see that GLOW series coming up on Netflix, and I'm super hype for it and was wondering if I could get involved in a project like that for the fandom, like create a league of wrestlers made of up furry girls (and herms). I'm sure other folks have projects like these...but what if I made up a bunch of my own and then offered discounts on art where either I

a) Draw your character as a wrestling persona of my design (you can give me the name and general outline but let me design the outfit and props!) Maybe I'd charge $35 for a full colour of this. (Down from $60 because this would basically be a thigh-high with a preset background)

b) Draw your character wretling one of mine (or somebody else's!) If you're wrestling one of mine, then the pic is only $45 (down from $60 which is what I'd usually charge) or if it's two folks, then you each pay $30?


Also

2) I'm learning how to animate in after effects for my job and was wondering how much people would be willing to pay extra for some minor animation in pictures? I'm thinking like, for example, boobs bouncing or if I draw, say, Scylla, to have her Tentacle undulating. Considering $60 as a base price for the static image, how much would you pay for how complicated of an animation?

Let me know if you guys are into these ideas?

I keep getting people adding me but never playing anything with me.
So I'm probably going to trim those lists pretty soon and remove all the dead weight.

I don't know which I'm more mad at:

People who add me to OW or Steam or Xbox Live and say "We'll play something together sometime" and then never do.

or

People I know in real life who see me come online and ignore me.

In the last two months I've only met one person online who actually *did* play something with me and I had a good time with that but it's just also made me realise how little anybody else does actually play with me.

I know my gaming time is limited and all that, but hell, don't add me if you don't want to *actually* play with me.

Also I feel safe ranting about this here because clearly nobody actually reads these journals anymore.

Thanks for sticking with me through what has been one of the roughest years of my life. Between losing my job and losing my dad, I wasn't too sure how this year was gonna pan out, but it's only looking up from here.


My new year's resolution around here is to get to know everyone a little better and to be a little more sociable in these spaces. Comment more, talk more and make more friends.

Sorry to say but my dad never recovered from his heart surgery and we lost him on Saturday.

Since then I've been running around trying to settle all of his financial and personal affairs.

This continues to be a terrible year for me.

Been dealing with moving to a higher paying job and with my dad having heart surgery this week.

He's on life support and we're not sure he'll make it.
