well, I guess schedule allows for it so I'm opening back up commissions right now.

This should be my busy part of the year, but I should have some time and I will certainly have an entire week of time at the beginning of Feb to finish up anything I fall behind on, so if you want to commission me now would be the time.

Hey everyone,

I'm off for tonight to a Christmas party at an old friends house (our traditional gathering for the last ten years or so), so I just thought I'd drop a line to say Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope your season is going great. I know some of you have some challenges for the season and my heart really does go out to you, but remember that nothing is permanent, and bad seasons will come and go. It's how you find the best in things that determines how it all goes.

To everyone who commissioned me, liked a piece of my art or even just stopped by to say hi here, thank you. You ensured that I had a wonderful and productive year.

I'll be opening commissions back up in January, but I'm both sad and excited to say that your experience with me and commissions may be a bit slow in that time because I'm working on some projects with a local poetry group to do some art in a 90's RPG style. I might post some of that stuff here, but it's kinda offtopic. But 2016 is going to be a year when I get serious about doing new things in new styles and leveling up my art game.

Don't worry, Ronnie, Scylla and the others aren't going anywhere. They're here and they always will be for all of their friends.

I love you guys, have a Merry Christmas and I hope your new year is filled with joy, love and good, new things. :)

So I'm closing official commissions through Dec, and possibly Jan.

Though so as not to get rusty, I may be doing a couple of personal pieces in between. I may hit up some of my frequent commissioners with free slots during this period of time just so I can draw their characters for practice. :)

So stay tuned to your notes. If you're a frequent buyer of mine, I may just be sending you a message when I get bored :P

From now on when doing commissions, I think I'm going to be doing updates via dropbox link rather than on FA notes. This keeps the updates private and keeps my giant scraps folder from getting larger.

So I think I'll actually be wiping my scraps soon. Unless you want me to keep some things (  Eradragon if you're reading this, I'm keeping all of yours because I know you link the process peices) then say. I won't start deleting till the weekend.

Also if you're the kind of person who doesn't mind the process images being made public, I'll give you the option for private or public updates when we start the commission. :)

You'll still get nearly daily notes from me on FA, but the images linked in them will be dropbox files instead. Simple, yes? :D

Gonna be playing some Destiny on Xbox one tonight. Finally feeling confident enough to play with others.

Gonna be trying to level up my Warlock to 40 from 35, might just run some patrols and bounties, but I'd be up for anything. I have my 40/239 Titan if anybody wants to jump into Iron Banner or anything.

Would anybody be up for a daily art stream from me at 5 am? That would be 4 am EST I imagine (with daylight savings time).

I know that's a weird time, but honestly it's the only time I'd have to dedicate to streaming art these days.

I'd basically stream commissions and if I have no commissions, I might do the odd request here and there if anybody's brave enough to be up at that hour.


Let me know. Yay or nay? I could do later evening streams but my day job is unpredictable with timing and my level of tiredness.

Weekend streams are always a thing though, but I have other responsibilities and can't always give it my full attention.

The commission sale is back because, frankly, I'm currently driving myself nuts feeling like my art isn't good enough and having no ideas about what to draw to up my skill level. I finished all the freebies I think I wanted to do and now I'm just scribbling and throwing away tons of things.

So I'm gonna lower commission prices to challenge myself to do a bunch more art!
