Okay, so it's looking like we won't be going to MFF again this year. That is unless we can find a room with space for two people. Which is very unlikely by this point. Our Hyatt option fell through, and our room that we had planned at the Hilton ended up getting filled because we had to wait so long on the Hyatt. Though I suppose we made that choice.

There is one option for a really cheap room at another Hilton, but it would be 2-ish miles away from the con. I doubt we'd be able to find roommates for that. x3

The other option is cramming into a room with people we know, but I don't think that will happen unless someone has an offer. XD

So my birthday was yesterday. I'm getting closer and closer to not being in my 20s anymore. This is a scary and foreign thought to me. I still act to much like a kid. Though, I was always mature for my age. x3

The day itself wasn't too bad, though. Started out with some work, which was nice since I needed the extra cash. Would have had the day off otherwise. Got some ice cream with Raz which is always tasty. Got FLOODED with well wishes over skype, facebook, and twitter. So thank you to all of you! I really felt the love. Even got to talk with people I hadn't seen in forever.

This year is already half over. My god time is a fast moving bitch. XD

Sooo... I'm back from AC! Which is funny, since I live 20 minutes from the convention center. It was freaken amazing! I got to see a ton of people. Some that I had never been able to see before. Too many to really list. Some really old friends. People that are dear to me. People that I met recently. Old friends that I almost never get to talk to, or just haven't really spoken with for whatever reason. I'm terrible at keeping up with others. Mostly just had with coming up with what to talk about. Doesn't mean I've forgotten you. Or don't like you. Time is just not really noticed with me. x3

Con started with a bit of a scare. Thought that my fursuit might have been lost in the mail on the Wednesday of con week. The tracker hadn't updated for a few days. So I panicked a bit. Thankfully, it showed up! He looks amazing! Had some issues to tweak, but that was easy enough thanks to an awesome buddy of mine who was also at the con.

This added a new element to con going! And really screwed with my timing. Lost track of it because suiting was so fun. That parade! I've never felt so cool before. The city of Pittsburgh really came out in force to see us prance around. High fived a lot of kids and really felt the happiness in the faces around. If they do another parade that goes outside, I'm so in! My goodness that thing is hot, though. Espesially in my super hero costume! That thing does not breathe. It is really cool though! I love how it turned out. Just need to make some tweaks to the belt so it sits better on me. It's also very hard to see with the mask on over my fursuit head. Seeing with the normal suit eyes is like a dream. Wearing just the fursuit meant I could stay out longer, but it was fun running around as a hero. I cant wait to suit again!

We tried to limit our times eating out, but we very much enjoyed the places we went to. If you go to downtown Pittsburg, I highly recommend Szmidts Old World Deli and Proper Brick Oven. Expect to pay 12 to 16 bucks with no drink, so they are a little pricy, but SO worth it. High quality food in those places. Large drink selection. Bill's in the westin was a very mixed bag. I really liked the sushi they had. I could taste the ocean that fish was so fresh. Nachos were great. Burger was meh for the cost with no side. We also seemed to have cleared their stock of a lot of items as an added annoyance. Hanlan's Cafe, the spot that was formerly Big Mamas, and formerly Silver City Diner... Wasn't bad# At least for breakfast stuff. Cheap, filling. Not a bad call. Overall, I enjoyed my food over the weekend!

Man, time just flew by. There was so much I wish I could have done. I'll be kicking myself, as I always do, until the next year, where I'll make more plans, not do them all, and start the process all over again. What I DID get to do was great, though. I'm happy for what does happen, even if my time with some is limited, I'm Just happy to see them and plan for the next con you will for sure see me next AC. If I'm lucky, I'll manage MFF this year as well.

Got back from a trip to Virgina yesterday. Was there for the weekend to spend time with some friends and be at a wedding for two of them! It was a fun, Legend of Zelda themed wedding. The theme worked pretty well!

Howdy all! So gas prices weren't as bad as they could have been. Which is good! So now I'm in my new apartment, which I probably won't be in for more then a couple months before we find a house out here to move into. We're not buying it though. That would be our roommate, but he couldn't find a good house before we had to move out this way. So we're here for now! Now with better internet for cheaper too, which is always nice. Hopefully the job hunt won't take too long. :3

So do moving trucks. So I've been going over math for my move to Pittsburgh. As of right now, at worst our gas costs will be around $1115. At best, they'll be around $670. Combine that with the 650ish for the truck and other costs we'll be dealing with, I'll have about a month in me before I collapse out there unless I get some source of income. x3

So things aren't so pretty right now.

So I'm moving to Pittsburgh at the end of this month. Since March and including the remainder I still need to pay, I will have spent around 1800 bucks in dental bills. That's money I could have used for this move and getting settled in my new place. Hopefully things will still work out alright, but this sucks that it's all so bunched together.

It's still a bit early, but AC isn't THAT far away. :P

So it looks like I'm officially adding another location to my ever growing list of places I've lived. I'll be moving to Pittsburgh with Raz at the end of May. We'll be driving there in a moving truck, and this will be my first time traveling that far while in a car. I normally fall asleep after an hour or two in a car, so I'm probably going to be a zombie by the time I get to PA.

We've been planning out our path, so we're trying to see if anyone is along the way that we can spend a night with to help save money. Got a stop in New Mexico and Oklahoma, but I think things get a bit uncertain after that. I believe we'll be going through St Louis and Indianapolis. So that 40, to the 44 and then to the 70. At least, that's what is planned for right now.

Also! It is now March. I do believe my fursuit will be getting started this month. x3

Well, I suck at Arena. I'm currently better than a lot of the people I face in casual mode. Who I suppose suck worse than me. lol

Just can't make a good deck out of the arena cards. I either don't know how, or I have terrible draw luck, or both. I probably don't play what I make very well either. Most everyone I play just seems to have combos that are worlds better than what I have. The games I do manage to win are from people that play worse than I do, or I scrape by with lucky deck draws. I've gotten as far as journeyman twice, but can't get further. Last two keys I used brought me 6 straight losses. Was using a Warrior and a Mage. Paladin and maybe druid seem to be the only classes that get me anywhere. I just wish I knew what I was doing wrong. x3

So like... is every con this coming year going to have a similar theme? Comics, superheroes, villains? I kinda count secret societies just cause that can easily be exploited by superheroes and villains. These themes really tickle my comic/hero nerd.

I really wanted to go to FC, but I shouldn't. Now I hear about Furry Fiesta and I want to go there too, but I still shouldn't. If I had ready what I have planned for AC, I'd be so going to one of the cons before it. Cause I fit the themes so hard! >_<

I move so often, It's hard to actually go to more cons. Hopefully this next move will be more long term. I can settle down in a spot, get a job that I can actually progress in and be able to do more of the things I want to do. This includes going to cons, roller coaster parks, buying games, their systems and maybe traveling to see folk. We might even actually get a car again! Scandalous.

Oh, for those of you that don't know, I intend to move to Pittsburgh this June. Still hammering out the details, but it's pretty much a go by this point.

Back from FurFright. It was pretty fun! Hung out with some people. Sang Karaoke for the first time, even though I work at a Steak house and musical review. I'm no stranger to singing. x3

Did the costume contest again this year. Didn't place again despite being liked by the crowd, people in the halls and for sure one of the judges as well as Belicbear. Got extra points for having a nice ass. Haha I'm like an Al Gore of costume contests. I get a big chunk of the popular vote, but never the votes that matter. XD
I've been in a lot of contests with costumes both good and not so good, but generally as good or better than what wins. IMO anyway. The same things win every time. You have the schmoozer. You have something sexy, something cute, or something with that "Awwwwww" factor. Fursuits were in it this year, so I knew I wasn't going to win against that. Just slap something simple on a suiter. If they are cute, sexy or have that "Awwww" factor, they will win hands down. Forgive me if I sound bitter. I just deal with this a lot. XD
Next year though I'll have my own suit, so I'll have that going for me at least. Maybe play up the cute. I swear I'll place one day! Man.. I don't even want to win anymore. I just wanna place. That's bad. x3

Anyway! I still had a great time. I still enjoyed being in one of the parades and hanging out. I look forward to next year as well as the next cons I go to. Hope to see more people I know at them. ^^

Is anyone actually going this year? Most people I know go to MFF now. I really wish they weren't so close together. And I know some others have had bad experiences at the con. I can understand them not going, but I have not had that yet and there are still some good people that go that I wanna see. Plus I love Halloween.

I'll be there this year in the main hotel with my boyfriend and another friend. I'll also be rocking a new costume. Last year I dressed up as a Legends of the Hidden Temple contestant. Really should have gotten more pictures, but I can always dress up as that again. x3

This year the costume will be more fitting for the theme of Halloween. If things work out, I might walk the fursuit parade with some suiters tied up in my rope for having said my name. I'll probably need more rope. Maybe someone will know who I'll be based off that reference. :P
