So I got back from Fur Fright on Tuesday. I had a good time there, but I just wish I could have met more of my friends. Smaller cons means fewer of them there though I suppose. x3
I thankfully didn't have the problem a lot of others seemed to have this year. Was never stopped by anyone and I didn't have to deal with the fire alarm nonsense.

But coming back from it has renewed my urge to get a fursuit. I have a few makers in mind and thankfully they don't open until early next year. Gives me time to plan things out. The suit's colors are going to be easy enough to get, but I'm running into a bit of a snag. I wanna have a costume made for the suit, but I'm not sure if any of the makers can do that. I need someone that specifically makes costumes. Does anyone out there have ideas on who does that sort of thing?

As for the travel update! I will be heading to Fur Fright this year. The good praise was more than the bad and a friend of my roommate is letting us stay in his room. My Halloween costume is nearly ready for it. It will be my first since my Jareth costume that people still seem to enjoy. It won't be as fancy, but this new one will be plenty nostalgic. x3

Having ideas to have a comic made buzzing around in your head, but not having the artistic skill to make it happen. I mean, what is a guy supposed to do in that situation? Am I suppose to go around asking random artists, "Oh hey, would you like to draw comics for me that I write for?" I do believe a lot of artist would read that as, "Oh hey, would you like to draw my characters for free for something that may or may not succeed and take up a lot of your time?" XD

So I end up turning on Pandora today with this urge hitting me, and you know the first song that plays? The Superman theme. The fuck, Pandora? Why you always know what I'm thinking? XP

Things are going better with money at least. I'm looking into commissions again. Due to a sudden opening in a room of my roommate's friend, I'll be going with him to FF this year. Why is it the year I go to a con that I know several of my friends have been to is the year they don't go? I figure it's good to experience at least once though. The only other fur con I've been to would be AC, so it should be quite the change. I already have plans to hit FC and perhaps MFF next year as well. For a guy that normally only does a trip once a year, this should be interesting. Not counting all the moving I've done. <_< Maybe I'll actually see friends this time! lol

Been doing a bit more gaming lately. Skyrim, Skyward Sword and some Plants vs Zombies. Slowly rebuilding my money supplies, but I still have things that need paying for. Got one more dentist bill to pay! But... if I wanna get my tooth crowned I have to go though this 900 dollar process. I need to see my other options. lol

It's my birthday today... bleh, I hate getting older. Gonna get a porterhouse today though, so that's good. XD

My stuff and my friend made it here safely as well, so that's more good stuff. Don't really have anything planned today other than going out to eat. Pretty much just gonna be another day. ^^;

So I just wanted to let you all know a few things. I've got a birthday coming up on July 15... both looking forward to it and dreading it. I hate getting older, but I want it to go by so I have one less money concern. ^^'

That namely being the moving of my stuff to here. Now thanks to some very generous folk, I believe we are 90 bucks away from having a car rented and having my friend drive down here with everything. He's refusing to let me pitch in, so I've gotten around that by asking for donations (which I've gotten 110 bucks) and promising to pay it back once things are in order.

As it is, I don't really have a lot of money right now. With rent, credit card bills, phone bills, a monthly dentist bill and another tacked on because I have to go somewhere else to get fitted for a crown, I'm making maybe 30 to 40 bucks profit this month after two checks. That's before taking food into account. Thankfully because of my birthday I should be getting some money from family.

Naturally, if you still wanna donate you can. I'm still considering either drawing something for people that donate or just commissioning someone to do it. Depends on if I can get creative juices flowing. Also, it's fucking addicting. <_<

In either case, it's more just me borrowing for a short while to make sure I get through things smoothly.

Well it seems commissioning anyone is just a bad idea when you first get your hands on some money. Cause that's when shit keeps piling up. *Has got an addiction at a bad time to have it* lol

So he's the deal. Next week I've gotta start making monthly payments on a root canal I'm getting finished tomorrow. It turned out a lot cheaper than it could have been, but it's still a good chunk of money.

On top of things, a very good friend of mine is having to move out of where he's staying. The problem is that he's holding a lot of my stuff and we can't really afford to it all in a storage unit. I don't even know how to set that up cause I'm here in AZ and he's in VA and I'd be the one paying. I'd like to get my stuff before it's thrown away, but I don't really have a lot for shipping it out here.

Another option is for my friend to drive down here by renting a car, but that's gonna be like $650. If I had more than a month to get this done I might be able to manage it, but right now I'm asking for help. If anyone is willing to donate some cash to help me ship things, I'd love ya lots. I promise to pay it back when I can, but right now I really need to figure out my options.

This is it pall. Roooooot canaaaal... Damn you Weird Al.

Well fuck me. It seems that my cavity is starting to interact a bit more with my nerves in a particular tooth. Combine that with my sinuses dipping down low and actually connecting with those nerves just a bit and you get... half my face in numb pain!

The Doctor I went to gave me some antibiotics to help deal with the pain after getting a good look at it with X-rays. The visit came out to $128.

He referred me to a doctor that he felt would be way better at attempting a root canal than he was. I got the impression that he just did not feel able to take care of the delicate procedure considering the circumstances of this particular patient. Me.

I called the doctor and got an estimate of how much it would cost.... $1200. Yeeeaaahhh.... I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to afford that on my own any time soon. My insurance doesn't work with that doctor cause it's a discount one. When the doctor I'm supposed to be going to becomes available sometime in June, he might be able to do it. But perhaps not as well. It would at least be 600 bucks instead, but that's still a looot of money for me at one time.

With my credit debt to pay off, rent, food and phone to pay for.. that's gonna be hard. Basically... help? What should I do? I could try asking people for money, but that's a lot to ask for. I'd like to keep this tooth, but I just don't think I'll be able to. :\

I just recently got dental coverage, but I don't think it's active for another month. I've had this cavity for about a year or more now. I've been keeping it in check with toothpastes and not chewing on that side of my mouth, but today it just said "FUCK YOU" and turned it up to 11. So now I don't know what to do.

So as a lot of you know, I moved to Arizona at the end of last month in hopes of getting something going. This was somewhat a bad idea considering the amount of money I had left, but I was getting nowhere in Virginia. I left a guy I care for in hopes of getting things back together in my life.

Well I have been here about 3 weeks. I have at least gotten 2 interviews, which is better than what I can say I got in Virgina, but I still don't have a job. I'm fucked by this point. I'm down to my last bit of cash as the plane ticket here(Plus luggage), rent, my phone bill and credit card bill have all pretty much wiped me out. Not to mention food. That's almost 700 bucks spent in one month. This -had- to work.

So far? It hasn't. So now the end of the month is coming. I don't really have money for rent again. Not enough anyway. I can swallow my pride and start asking friends or family for help, but I really didn't want it to get to this point. I honestly considered killing myself before getting to that. And not the "Oh god my life sucks!" kind of way. The, "Well, I've had a good run" kind of way. That's scary XD

Part of me says I should have stayed in VA. I'd at least still have money. Part of me says I should have gone back to Oregon. I'd at least probably be working at McDonald's again. I just can't make good decisions anymore.

Anyone have suggestion on what to do? Advice? Support in some way?

Once I have money again, I'm really eager to get a clean piece of artwork representing my character, but finding a good artist that fits the style you want and doesn't charge and arm and a leg is always tricky. I don't know how long this current story arc will be. Maybe another two episodes, but I plan on doing more arcs and little side stories that don't have too much to do with the plot. That's when the dirty stuff could happen. :P

Virginia... sucks. My particular part of it anyway. Stuff is spread out and hard for me to walk to. Not to mention I'm having major money troubles with lack of having a job. I may end up having to move back, or find someone else I can crash with in what I'd hope is a better town. I mean, it's fun here... but I want to have money again. XD

Oh! And if you hadn't noticed already, I got a bit of a color change. I rather like the new look. It has made me want to go and get commissions.. which probably isn't the best idea in my situation, but most of this was gift money that I was spending and the commissions were cheap. Couldn't help myself. :P

Gotten into a bit of a superhero kick. I've even started writing history and a little story on the side.. I don't think I'll be posting them here though. x3

Anyway.. I really don't wanna have to move back. If I do, I'll have a place to stay and I'll be able to get my job back.. but I still wanna make it work out here. I just need a better place to be. :\

Hello again! Well, its been about a week and it looks like I won't be getting my computer setup for at least another week when I move from one friend's place to another for a more permanent stay. At the moment I'm cat sitting with my friend Raz(redyoshi on here), but will hopefully have stuff up and running again some time at the end of next week. Thankfully, I'm able to get on his laptop to type up this report for you guys.

Wow this week went by fast. Even faster than the weekend I spent at Anthro con. And thank you to all of you that made it so fun. :3
All the days this week have been packed with one thing or other. Been playing a lot of games with my friends here like Lunch Money and Munchkin between going out and getting to know my surroundings. Gonna have to start searching for a job soon, but I'm enjoying my time off for now.

So far, the weather here has been kinda bleh with only a day or two that were pretty good. I'm not a fan of heat and humidity, so I have a feeling that is gonna happen a lot around here. XD
Oh! On my first day here I saw fire flies in action for the first time. That was pretty neat. I just with this place wasn't swarming with so many other bugs, beetles, months and so on. lol
I've enjoyed my first few days here though. Been pretty nice so far and I hope that trend will continue. I just really can't wait until I can setup my computer and upload some images and just... have my computer again. I miss being able to chat with all my friends online. x3

Another awesome thing about being here is that I just got two year passes to Busch Garden's and all related parks, so we'll be going there hopefully tomorrow and I'll finally be able to ride some coasters which I have only done 4 times during a trip to Six Flags years ago. It's gonna be awesome! I'm also thinking of getting passes to King's Dominion since Raz says that's a better place. Gonna probably go there on the 12th since some of his friends wanna drag him out there. A bunch of us gotta go now. :3

And I can't forget all my other friends that are on this coast. I hope to see you all in some form or another. Either by visits or seeing you at cons. I plan on going to more once I have a stable flow of money again. Speaking of, I've been planning on working on a fursuit to strut around in. I'm thinking of doing a suit that is of my Nite Fox form, which is Fawks in a super hero outfit. I'd post a picture, but I'm not on my computer right now. Raz thinks I should just do Fawks in his normal clothes, so I'm wondering what you guys think.

Well I'm finally back from my trip, so to speak. AC was a blast and I can't wait for next year. :3

Nothing new to report here. Been doing a lot of DnD recently. Trying to come up with a good sorc build, but I've been having some trouble picking a good base for what will turn into a Sand Shaper. I have a feeling very few of you will know anything about what I'm talking about. XD

Been playing DCUO recently. It's a pretty fun game, and being a DC fan helps too. Played the beta when it first started, but I sadly missed the end of beta event. Don't know if I'll pay for it every month, but I'll certainly go back to playing it from time to time.

A big surprise for me is that I was bought WoW for Christmas and have been playing it with my roommate since then. It is pretty fun as well. I'm part of a guild named "The Squirtle Squad," and since I was invited to the game, I level up very fast. I think that was the saving factor for the game. I probably wouldn't be playing if I was still level 20 and all the people I'd wanna play with are 80+

Hmmm... that's about it for now. I've got some other news that I could share, but since it is still being planned out, I'll save it for later.

Well, I finally got back from my trip to AC. Spent about a week down there and damn was it fun! It just went by too fast. XD

Stayed at the Marriott so the walk to the convention center wasn't very long. Went to some nice eating places did about every con thing I could do, but I just wish I could have spent time with everyone I knew there. I'll just have to do that the next time I go. x3

One thing is for certain though.. I had thought about making a fursuit for a while, but after AC I am absolutely going to get started on it. If I do it right, I might even have something to show for Rainfurrest if I go this year. I can't wait!

On a side note, I ended up having to take three different plane rides to get there and back again. It wasn't too bad, but I think I'll stick to just two flights a direction in the future. lol

I also saw Toy Story 3 yesterday before flying back home, and I gotta say... damn. That was a good movie. It got me to do that sexy cry thing. Where you just shed tears and keep a straight face. XD
