Hey, here's how the comissions stand again. Had my first session at the gym today, I think it went well. My arms are aching which apparently is a good sign. Hope everyone's doing alright and spontanious growth is right around the corner

Yay! I got my internet sorted today, didn't take as long as I'd thought. I'm all settled into my new place, got four new roomates to get to know and a whole lot of drawing to catch up on.

How much should I charge for comissions?

I'm only asking because I've put up a few journals offering comissions, the latest which recieved no replies whatsoever. It could be the fact I'm not good enough or well known, but maybe (for my self esteem's case) it could be bacues I'm charging more than my skills deserve.

I thought $10 would be a good price for a pic, even though I don't know much about dollars (I'm British), mainly cos of the $10 sketch thing. If some artists could get away with giving away sketches for $10, then shouldn't a fully lined pic with background from me be just as good?

Also, when it comes to my comics, is $10 a page too much> It's just, I don't know how ellse to prcie a comic, and I thought going by page numbers was a good way to do it.

Ah well, maybe the reason no on replied is because of this financially challenging times (which had something to do with why I'm opening comissions), I just wanted to ask and see if anyone responded.

Hey, think I've finally gotten back into the swing of drawing again, yay ^_^ Might have something to do with the fact I have no more lectures or classes to go to, just looooooads of course work and assignments to get through. My first year at Uni is almost over and I'm amazed time seems to have gone so fast.
This means I'm gonna be moving back home soon, and I have a few more sketchbooks then when I came here. I'm just wondering what I'm gonna do with them all. Don;t want anyone seeing them so I;m gonna have to find a new, bigger hiding place ^^;;
But, anyway, feeling better now, hope everyone else is good too, and hopefully you'll enjoy the new pages of Guilty Pleasure, even if the first pages are a biiiiiiiit of a cheat ^^;

Well, it has been brought to my attention that, as I kinda guessed, I overreacted over this knew law, which I only heard about on the grape vine and din;t understand. But, I still panced and skeedadled.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, to be honest I haven't pickedup a pencil for a while now. Just haven't been in the mood. Hopefully I'll get back into it soon and work on a few things I owe Redsaber and finish the comic with Phil

I was looking over my characters and realised that there is a certain common theme between them. Other than two of my 'Sean gang' characters, and Phil, they are all candids.

So, I was thinking of making three knew characters. I already have an idea for one, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for othe species of the other two. I'd like to hear your ideas and then hopfully I could draw them. Also, it's a way to widen my skills when it comes to drawing different species too.

So of these three knew characters, two are male and one's female. I have and idea for the male; a bodybuilding black panther. If anyone has any ideas for the other two, I;d be more than happy to hear them, They can be anything, as long as it is a candid ^^; got plenty of those.

OK, I probabaly should have done this earlier, so the details are a bit fuzzy now.

Anway, it started off with these two weird horse type things; one was a pretty translucent blue with these fins down his neck as apposed to a mane, and the other was a black unicorn. They were chacing this little like... lion cub or something, because he'd taken something... I think... Anyway, the cub falls in a pool and then... the only way I can describe it is he digivolved into this big black dragon!

So now the horses are in troble. They turn round and run away. The cub/dragon realises he's changed, grins and flies after them. In the time it's taken the dragon to realise that he's a dragon, the horses have reached a large lake. They start swimming but the dragon's getting closer. The black unicorn tells the other horse to let himself get caught, an odd thing to ask, but the other horse agreed.

The dragon swoops down with his mouth open, scooping up water AND the blue horse until his belly's a bit bloated. he flies to the land and pats his belly. Meanhile, inside the dragon's belly, the horse turns into water... a lot of water. The dragon inflates with water and then I have no idea what happened.

So... am I crazy? I vaguely remember there being other parts similar to that involving growth. I think I might be doing too much doodles or at least thinking too much about my doodles and now I'm dreaming like my comics!

Yeah, I think it is safe to say, I am insane

Hey all, if you're watching me you've seen the series called 'Guilty Pleasure' and I'm getting to the point where I'm gonna have ALOT of growth.

Right

Male... not really a surprise

- Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long

- Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Erm... I don't think I have a preference, but I'd say right

- Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Side view, I always think the characters look weird if I draw them from the front

- What do you have problems in drawing?
A lot of things, but the big ones are hands and feet and also breasts, they are a pain in the backside! Oh, butts are difficult too... and backgrounds... the list goes on

Muscular males Growing muscular males too

- Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Traditional, my knolwedge on computers is very limited

- Where do you start drawing from?
Most of the time, the head, but I also start at the chest on occasion

- What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Erm... don't think I have any habbits. I just draw and rub stuff out if it's wrong and trya agin

- Any tips for coloring/shading?
If I had any ability when it came to colouring, I would share, but sad and sorry to say I don't

- How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Honetsly, not that long. I do the sketch then go over it in pen so it's visible, the problem is getting the scanner :-/

- What music do you listen to while you draw?
Anything and everything, I just like to have something in the background

- How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Not long, but it's not much of an idea which is why my comics aren't long. But, when it is a long comic, like the one I'm doing for  Draco-rex, i tend to need to do a few doodles to help the ideas coe. Which is why I started doing those pics of people getting huge. I've done all ten, but the I can't get to a scanner right now, so I'm sorry

Any old pencil really

- Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I don't use colours

- Your favorite style(s)?
A bit cartoony so I can get away with my rubbish hands

- Are you satisfied with your current art?
Sometimes

- What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I'd like to be able to do a nice long comic and draw it well. I already have the idea, just need the skill :-/
