September was weird month for me. Right up to the end of August, I knew I wasn't going to be able to work consecutively, but I have been able to make up for what I could get for the most part. Even now, I feel I'm gonna be shuffling around for the rest of the month. That being said, I did take some time to make revisions on my digital workplace.
First of all, many of you will notice the two largest pledge tiers have been retired and I have introduced a new pledge perk for Patreon. Now, Anyone pledging £5 or more can get a free sketch monthly.
And speaking of funds, I have added a new term to my commissions, which is an upfront charge based on the sketch of the pic commissioned. This is to prevent anyone from running away with the sketch without paying, as that has happened Twice to me this month. The upfront charge for the sketch would then be deducted from the invoice from the final piece.

Sorry this one is a late blog. The truth is I've found myself in a motivational rut, just after I've done the Patreon essential work. Once all that work was done, I thought I could push on to what I had in the backlog for myself, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The sudden heatwave I got doesn't help the situation either.
With my Birthday coming up next month, I'm hoping things turn around for the better for me, at least for a month before everyhting shuts back down.

With the last few months being excessively busy for me, I figured it'd be good to keep you all to date on what I have planned to work on the upcoming month, at least in small detail:
At the moment, I'm working on a commission for a good friend and I hope to get that done before anything else.
I then have May's Rough to Render to start on, which fortunately is a relatively simple one.
To celebrate a milestone for one of my Twitter accounts, I've set up a ****** which will be due on the 4th of may.
My biggest Patron, Sylvin has a birthday coming up this month, so I've collaborated with them on something bigger than normal.
Finally, to celebrate a similarly large milestone on my Twitter Feed, I plan to make a poll for what I sketch up to coincide with the next episode of Helluva Boss.
As for the sketch theme, the winner for may by a landslide is Fighting Game Girls, so patrons will be able to look forward to that.
Of course, I'll likely still be taking up commissions during the month, but if all goes well, I can get what I have planned for May done.
This is probably something I should plan to announce every month from now on, so Everyone's caught up with my status.

While I've been grateful of the interested in my commissions, I feel that I've been putting too much time on sketches, and the end result isn't up to my standard anymore, compared to my linearts and renders.
That being said, I've been considering two possible commission options in the event I decide to take these down.
Rough Sketch Commissions - While not the best quality, these quickly jot-down sketches I can get done within the same day as the payment. My initial prices to consider is $2 USD half body and $5 USD full body. both prices would be per character BUT I also plan to add a free character/pose or a detailed background when a commissioner pays for 2 characters or more. Rough sketches would not be added to my galleries, but they will be added to my archive of Roughs that Patrons can choose to become full render. Speaking of which...
Rough to Render Commissions - This is a premise I've been going through with my Patrons for some time, and I feel there may be some interest in this. For an upfront payment of £20 GBP, the commissioner will get to browse though my archive of rough sketches and pick which one they want me to turn into a full render. Not only that, for an additional £5 they could have me include small details to the final product, such as a detailed background or an alt to the original.
Hopefully, these are ideas that plenty of people are interested in. I also plan to change the Inked/lineart tier to Black and White or Colourless Render, to match it with the two higher tiers. Hey folks. Just a reminder that I've made a few changes to my commission prices. Mainly they will no longer be in USD but now in GBP.

As many of you know, Patreon have added an additional requirement to their guidelines, in which any and all nsfw content should be labeled as 'Patrons only' posts. As such, anyone who freely follows and browses my page will not be able to see my lewd content.

well, well. It's been a while. Yeah sorry for not keeping this place as active as some would like. The truth is it's getting harder to update this page with appropriate material, if you know what I mean. So before I post what will very likely be the last pic I put up on DA for the decade, I want to do the obligatory new years resolution type breakdown:

Progress on the comic:
Some (or I'm hoping a lot) of you may be happy to know that the first issue of my Alvah comic is so very close to completion. I only have the one page literally all I have to do is colour it in. Looking back, I realize I may have made a huge mountain out of a... relatively smaller mountain. Because of this, I'm planning on restrictions moving forward. I'll explain this in detail to my patrons when the time comes, but for now lets say the next installments of the series will be shorter and have at least one pair of extra working hands.

Character art:
One thing that's been bugging me in the tail end of the year is that I haven't been able to do much with my own characters, not even Alvah and Leah. I do plan on changing this moving forward. I always tend to come up with fun scenarios with my guys and gals and it's a real shame I don't get to put them down on canvas, not even as roughs. So that's just what I plan to do, get more rough sketches down of my own characters and put them up on my twitter. Hopefully, this will encourage me to fully render one and upload it here.

Commission Prices and Patreon pledges:
There's going to be a small shift in the commission prices, nothing too drastic, but it'd be an attempt to make my higher tier stuff more tantalizing. Plus, I'm going to amp up the job hunting, so the hours I put towards the comms would be more valuable. As for Patreon pledges... They're staying the same. Yep. Want to help support my endeavors for cheap? Go right ahead.

And that's all I have to say for future plans. Hopefully I can keep by them, but worst case scenario I'll stumble upon this in the future (hi, future me!) and realize what I was gonna do. I've had a pretty solid decade, and I hope you guys have too. See you all in the 20s!

Hey folks. As you probably can tell, work on the next page of Alvah is running a bit slow. My initial plan to have a page done per month has been foiled, but I won't let this deter me. In fact, one reason behind this is because I've been dedicated to a lot of commission work and Patreon pledges.
Speaking of Patreon, I thought about a new way to communicate with my patrons. Originally this was gonna be something similar to a 'Your Character Here' but the opposite. Instead I decided to make this a Patreon exclusive idea. At the end of each month, I'll still do the regular monthly discount poll, but I'll do an extra poll on what character you would like me to draw, then at the start of the month, I'd ask each patron what pose they'd want the winning character in (the tier of drawing would depend on said patron's tier)

As you may have noticed, I have updated my commission prices to include GBP instead of USD. It may seem daunting at first, but A British Pound is like 1.35 US Dollars. But in light of this and to celebrate the new year, for this month only, I am doing half price on everything. Any theme, any character, (nearly) any situation!

As the Wintery white blanket covers most of the world, I figured it would be fitting to dedicate the commission cut to all (if not most) holidays celebrated within December. Not only Christmas themed commissions, but also commissions based on Kwanzaa or Hanukkah or simply something within the seasonal setting.

I also have an ongoing half-price discount on commissions featuring my own characters. You may know most of them, but I've taken the liberty to compiling them all into a public chart.

Finally, I want to announce I'll be opening a new tier for commissions. They will be clean black and white sketches, $5 per character/pose and background is free.
Though I won't upload them individually on DA; Instead, I'll paste 4 onto one pic and submit that, including the names of the clients for each one.

A few things regarding the discounts:
I won't include both discounts at once if the commission fits both criteria (A sketch of Alvah dressed as Link will not be quarter the initial price) Furthermore, the $5 sketches will not be affected by the discounts.

One last thing to announce is that after the new Year, I plan to rework the commission prices up front to GBP (or Great British Pound), as well as alter the perks on my Patreon to better match the current prices of my commissions.

I'm taking a small break from my Comic book project to catch up on some commissions and to prepare myself for an Inktober Jam. This year's Inktober theme will be;
Southern Belles, yall! Yep, pretty much the only rule for this Jam is any character as a Southern Belle (fancy corset and thick dress)

In other news, I'll be popping over to some UK based conventions in the next month. The first one I'll be at is J-conn in Derby on Saturday 30th September. Following that I will be at Nottingham Comic Convention on Saturday 14th October. If anyone wants to spot me in either convention, I'll have my name tag on.

Since I'll be away for a week, I though I'd take the last day on my computer to keep you sprouts up to date. First and foremost, my birthday is coming up on August 13th, marking my 27th year of existence. It's funny, I look back at y first years on the internet not knowing nearly as much as I do now, not just when it comes to drawing, both within and away from the cyberspace.

Secondly, I have attained a Nintendo switch, but so far have only one multiplayer game, Arms (and a few single player games that are worth the digital download) but I do plan to expand my library much more, such with MK8 DX, Spaltoon 2 and possibly even Breath of the wild. my FC is SW-7415-6667-6884

Final note, you may have noticed I've changed my commission prices quite a lot in the last few months. $10 for a sketch may seem much, which is why I've considered opening up special $5 sketch commissions sometime. What those sketches will be I've yet to decide from Bust or booty sketches, Black and white shaded sketches or even sketches with a specific theme.

Some small side notes, the comic project is coming along nicely, expect the next page by the end of August, and I'm really looking to go to more conventions in the future. My goal would be to set up a booth table.
