Went to Office Depot with a regular friend of mine. He was returning some used toners and get a new one. So I started looking around. I noticed an interesting USB flash device. It looked exactly like Greyhare. So I asked one of the store floor people if I returned looking like the USB flash would they allow me to buy it. He give a strange look and say if I had the money sure. I explained again the I would look exactly like the flash device only 7 ft. tall. He smiled and said yes it's OK. Hour later Greyhare shows up in full fursuit at the Office Depot. I see the gentleman standing near the door. I said to him be careful what you say it may come true, he smiled and laughed. So I picked up the flash device and went to checkout waving and greeting everybody in store. The manager came on the PA system to let everybody about the giant rabbit in the store. After paying for the item the store personal came over and took pictures with me. It gave me a warm feeling inside or was that heat from the fursuit may be both. Another nice outing as Greyhare. Both Greyhare and Savage will be attending Arlington Furmeet tomorrow.

Well since it was cool this I suited up as Greyhare both mornings. Each day walking around the neighborhood. Then across the 6 lane major road and going down to the Rowlett Creek Preserve Mountain Bike Trail. First person said you scared the F*** out me. He laughed and took a picture. When I got down to the 6 lane major road, I waved at all the cars everybody started honking their horns. When I got down to the Mountain Bike Trail everybody was looking at me ( furry eye candy ). Noticing they trying to pictures. I went over to each group to talking and have pictures taken. Last I met up with a father and his boy. So I had my picture taken with him. It was very sweet. So I have some good memories from this weekend. I discovered 50 degrees is hotter than 85 degrees with phase change vest. The distance walk each day was over a mile.

Went out for an evening walk of about 1000 yards. A car passes me then back up. He said are you drunk then he laugh, talked for a couple of minutes. It's was nice. Also heard someone at their door step say come here there a giant rabbit in the street. I guess everybody must have seen Revit's furry FCN hangover video on YouTube. Now wearing fursuit = being drunk. lol

Well at 2:30pm today I went down to the local State Farm office in Rowlett, TX to pay my house insurance. I was fursuited up as Greyhare. It was a big hit at the office everybody had a good time and took pictures. Also passed by ther Nail Salon. They dragged me in for pictures too. I'm furry eye candy now !!! The temp was 87 degree some wind . I had have the phase change vest on. Still did not sweat in the suit.

Just completed tonight's walk. I got out in the road so I could see better and less change of surprising someone. Well I was wrong I did scare this guy's wife. I never did see them due the fursuit head. It's Ok I told them I was sorry did not mean to scare anyone. Think it's a good idea to leave Savage at home for the time being he scary looking with the light up eyes. The temp was 67 no wind distance travel about 600 yards. I was using the phase change vest fully load. I'm starting to feel better wearing the suit. After returning the fursuit was again dry.

Sorry Aru about being so late posting this clip. It was a nice day weather wise. We had over 70 attend this month. Looks like we had 10 fursuiters 4 in full and 6 partials. Will there be any new fursuiters next month ?

Well tonights outing was a walk of 400 yards outside. As I walking down the sidewalk. I suddenly heard someone say "what the hell was that" followed by laughing "it's the easter bunny". Ok I been Spotted lol. Conditions temp was 65 no wind time around 9:20pm fan on in head and phase change vest fully loaded front and back (it fits in the fursuit !!!). After returning back suit is still dry. I was still a little hot but not to bad. Future test will be to add phase change neck wrap.

I initially found out about him back in August. I was watching Stuffed Panda's queue. I noticed that Pandaguy was in front of me for a toony tiger. Then August 20 came around and all of a sudden I was number 1 in the queue and that Pandaguy tiger was at the end of the queue. So I started watching him on FA and shouted to him that I would find him at MFM to said hello. At MFM I then found out that the reason his fursuit to be push back was he was unable to do DTD for health reasons. In the following weeks that I watched him as his health issues got worst to the point of kidney failure which he reported in his Sept 26 journal as he writes about 15 hours dialisys. I only got to talk the one time and may be his health issues kept him spending much time talking with me ( few people at MFM were interested in talking to me I guess I was not enough furry eye candy). But I notice that in the past before his heart problem that he was very active in the furry fandom and loved by many. When I pass away I hope people will feel remember me that way ( I know that he would happy ). I just wanted to pass this along to everybody I know that few people will see it. But I just felt like writing it any away.

This is the first time that I had Greyhare outdoors. The weather was good about 70 with light breeze. I know about the tail problem. Also used phase change material vest for passive cooling. The first fandow show will be at Arlington Furmeet 10/14/12. Also I will be bringing Savage the other partial that I had commissioned.

I working on get use to heat of the fursuit heads, Currently wearing my Greyhare with the head fan on for the past 45 minutes. I'm just a little bit hot. It's not enough to really bother me or even make me sweat. But when I put just the fursuit alone it terribly hot. I did try phase change vest it really helps but I cannot add all the phase change material due to the size. May modify my body armor to have the phase change material attached directly. So that a vest would not be required.

Just want to let everybody know that I got my 2 new fursuits in today. So I will be showing them off at the next AFM. Currently trying to get use to the heat anyone have any advise on the subject. Until today I never worn a fursuit.

I been so busy I forgot to know that the MFM 2012 Closing Ceremonies is on Youtube.

I now understand more about Pope Juluis II commissioner of the Sistine Chapel and Stuffed Panda as Michelangelo the artists. I hope Panda forgives me for the extra work and trouble I have caused her. Over the pass 2 day we have been working thru a couple of problems. That is why Savage was completed before Greyhare. Since 90% of my furry spirit has to deal with Greyhare it had to be right. Because without Greyhare I would not be a furry. I know for most furries they do not know my relationship with Greyhare and Savage. May be in late October everybody will understand. But I wanted to publicly tell everybody that this afternoon we got all the problems work out. So now I excited to get them both. So I'm stepping down as Furry Pope. Let all elect Uncle Kage as the next Furry Pope. I guess that would make him Furry Pope Kage I.

I finally got some time to upload the video. Between the slow upload speed of cable and the Google post processing it took close to 30 hours to get the video on YouTube. Please forgive me for the angle and how close it is. Warning this is the complete show.

The past week I have 3 more furry dreams. I only reminder a little bit from each of them. But want to share them with everybody.

1. I'm at Texas Instruments my old employer from 11 years ago. I am leaving the building one of long flat style like Forest Lane, Midland or Lubbock. I have 20 year in with the company because of the gold badge. When I get to the car I met up with some one that loans me his fursuit head. In the car is another fursuit head which is mine.

2. The next morning I have another dream. Again I'm at Texas Instruments this time in some kind of exit interview. But they are showing me a video of a fursuiter smoking a cigarette.

3. On the 4th day I had a dream of being in a fursuit at some small town waiting at the bend of the road. There is a trolley at the location, after a few minutes other fursuiters start walking up to the trolley. End of Story, an interest piece of information to add is my Greyhare fursuit should have been completed the day before. It seems that my subconscious is already taking ownership of the fursuit before being shipped.

Just got back for MFM last night. We had Zapperpup, Blaze, Hart, Darkdragon23, Silva, Rivin2e and myself go over in 2 cars. Everybody had a great time. Even with the power for our part of the city being down for more than 3 hours due to a storm Sunday night. Also wanted to post the fursuit parade enjoy.

The time has finally come for Greyhare to be more than state of mind or mental spirit. Greyhare is starting to take physical form this week. His hands and feet had been completed. Next will come the body. Which I am excited to see when it is furred. After that will be the construction of the head this will be the most exciting and critical part to watch being build. Because I believe the soul of character is mainly in the fursuit head. Finally like great movies, plays and books. Putting all together to complete the story. This is the moment that I have been waiting months for the creation experience like a good steak. Taking it in slowly to savor the taste and prolonging the enjoyment or in this case study the pictures and imagine wearing and moving in the completed work of art.

Need to write and let everybody know that I got over my depression. I would like to thank Arutheus, Aliciadragon, ,Draconis, and Blaze for their support it did help. The thing I feared the most was not being able to talk about thinks that make me happy during the day. So I have replaced it with music that I associate with furry dance videos . When I travel between work locations. This seems to be working. Another think I have noticed happening over the past several months. Since discovering that I was a furry . I have growing mental state of being at peace with one's self. This is the same feeling I use to experience daily. When running 5 miles in 30 minutes it known as a running's high. The different is my mental state of peace is longer but not as intense. Also in the past I was able to block all pain even at high levels, like falling into a 8 foot deep hole and landing on my back. Some bikers saw me fall in the hole and got a nearby ladder so I could climb out. After thanking them I them I continuing to run another 3 1/2 miles at normal pace with no pain. Hour later I checked my back just a couple of scratches and barely any blood. I never even bruised. My current mental state of peace does not allow me to block pain. My guess not intense enough. May be in a later journal I will talk about another case of mental control to fix a physical problem.

Today started out good no major problems. Talked to the boss about getting time off for Mephit Furmeet, OKLACON and FANGCON. He was ok about be taking the time off. I have told him about fur cons and furmeets in the past. Then 3 hours later he wants to see me in his office. Because I talk about going to fur cons and furmeets taking video. This creeped out someone bad enough to complain to my boss. So I have been told that my public activities are to be consider private and not mentioned at work. Well as you know I try to be a positive person believing one create happiness by ones thoughts, actions and words. Now at work I am not allow to talk about what make me happy. I guess I can talk about all the negative things in my live like working for the City of Dallas the worst paid city employees in the area, no chance to get promoted in the department unless someone dies, having to spend $5000 on teeth and car in 3 months. Last going over to my dad's house 5 days a week to check on him and the caregiver since his stroke over 4 1/2 years ago that left him bed ridden. What it boils down to I not allow to talk about what my me happy, only the things that make me sad and sick. Currently I am depressed and sad trying to figure out how to have a happy ( positive ) mental lookout for the future. So in the future if someone ask about my weekends at work. I guess I have to say "I'm not allowed to discuss things that make me happy".

I cannot believe it. This morning I was in the middle of some kind of furry dream. All I remember is having my Ipad on the floor and  Keefur aka Cutter Cat came by fursuiting. When he passed by he stepped on the Ipad, breaking the screen into 3 or 4 pieces. I woke up about that time thinking about how I was going to save up the money to replace it. Strange picking  Keefur to be in my dream. I have only seen him 3 times in person, talked to him once in person, 2 emails on FA , and 2 other conference calls. The only things that stands out in my mind we are both 57 (rare in furries) and some common furry experiences in the pass. So if you have furry dreams let us know.

Just got out of the Fangcon staff meeting. Draconis said that he will be attending the AFM ( Arlington FurMeet ). He did not say if anyone else was coming.

I just got off the phone with Draconis AKA Jugular Jaguar and Calamity Cougar. It look like Draconis and some of the OK furries may be attending the Sunday AFM. Hope to know more by Saturday. For the local furries that have not been to any fur cons. Calamity Cougar has MC the last 2 Texas Furry Fiesta, Wild Nights, and Oklacon that I know of. He has been event director of countless fur cons for the past 10 years. I know that Zapper, LunoVulpes, Veskar and Solmangrundy know who he is. So this will be a AFM that you do not want to miss.
