Things that I have been thinking about
General | Posted 13 years agoBelow is a list of things that I plan to talk about this coming AFM.
1. Donkey and me did the Cow Appreciation Day July 13. I hope he shows up to talk about this one.
2. I just got add as staff to the new furcon Fangcon in Nashville, TN Oct 26-28. See https://www.fangcon.com for more detail.I hope some of the local AFM furries can make it.
3. Greenreaper got another article read on Furcast. I would like to give him a congratz in person.
4. Let PantherPawz know I was impressed with what he did for Merlin. I read his journal it almost made me cry. I did enjoy the birthday picture and added it to me favorites.
5. Working on some possible new fursuit events like fursuiting at Fair Park and fursuit dancing at a Dallas Rec. Center. Currently awaiting to see if we have anybody interested in events like that.
6. Thinks about going to Mephit Furmeet (MFM) labor day Weekend. Would anybody be interested we could spilt the cost of the room and gas.
7. See LunoVulpes about drawing my 2 fursona's on leather (for future scent amulets).
Please feel free to discuss anything from the above with me or something new. See everybody Sunday.

General | Posted 13 years agoFinally got some time to write about several things that I got going on or thinking about.
The big news this week. I have been added to the staff of a new furcon in Nashville, TN. It's call
fangcon( http://www.fangcon.com/ ) to be held October the 26-28. Please come and help make it a success. If you are unable to attend pass the word to everybody you know. The more successful new furcons there are. The easier it will be furries to go to several furcons a year and be close by.
Well as many of you AFM furries know
Donkey (in Minotaur fursuit) and me went out to several Chick-Fil-A on Cow Appreciation Day. I was driving and spotting for Donkey. This is a first for me I never spotted for any fursuiters until July 13. We went to 7 stores in order Rowlett, Garland, Mesquite, Dallas (Abrams/635 LBJ), Murphy, Plano and Dallas (across from SMU). Most of the stores we were well received only the Dallas (Abrams/635 LBJ) do we have problems. The Marketing manager came out to asking me questions about what we were doing. I stated to her the it was it was Cow Appreciation Day so people were encourage to do what we were doing it just Donkey's costume was nothing like they ever seen before. So she ask why I would take pictures and video. I stated it my hobby to take pictures and video of fursuiters and anybody that is interacting with them. I show her pictures taken a week before at the AFM. Then she told me that some of the parents were complaining. One of my personal rules is not to make anybody feel uncomfortable. So I told her that we would leave after I finished eating and I would not publish any pictures or video of that store. All the other stores people and staff were surprise and happy to see us. Last week on Furcast they read another one of Greenreaper's articles Profile: Upcoming art site Weasyl seeks $5000 by July 31 (http://www.flayrah.com/4183/profile-upcoming-art-site-weasyl-seeks-5000-july-31 ). Near the end of the show I noticed that
greenreaper was in furcast IRC. So I know he was watching or listening to the podcast. I know that greenreaper was really enjoying himself at the end of the show based on all it text messages in IRC. I glad he had a good time and hope to talk with him at the next AFM this month.
Believe or not I have one more topic. This one is more for the furries in the DFW area of Texas. I have been thinking of some public fursuit outing may be starting in November. Some of the thing that I have been working on is fursuiting at Fair Park and Fursuit dancing at the Rec. Centers in Dallas. I have already started talking to the Director of Dallas's Park and Recreation about this. Paul Dyer was very positive about this. So I believe it should be just a matter of letting know about when we would be Fair Park (except during the State Fair). The Rec. Center dancing should be possible and just cost us a couple dollars is what I hoping. Sorry everybody for being so long winded.

Cow Appreciation Day thing at Chick-Fil-A
General | Posted 13 years agoWell I guess it time to make my first real journal entry. As some of you from the AFM furries may know donkey and me did the Cow Appreciation Day thing at Chick-Fil-A in Friday the 13th. Donkey has done in it the past and want it do it again this year and need a driver/handler. Since I had that Friday off and want to get some experience as a handler. I volunteered to help. So Donkey was fursuited as a minotaur s close enough to pass for a cow. So we did 7 Chick-Fil-A that day. We only had one store that want us to leave. The parents thought donkey was too scary and me video doing was to creepy so we left. All the other store were ok. FYI the best people actions were early in the morning and 5:00pm. Worst time noon and 8:00pm. Also posting the video of the first reaction to us entering the Chick-Fil-a in Rowlett, TX.
