A season comes and a season goes.
Posted 14 years agoYet another growing season has come to an end. The wheat stands golden in the field. The soy bean bountiful and bursting thanks to the odd weather that cometh this year. Best yet is the tobacco crops that have given a renewal of much need financial support needed for my withering town. Had it not been for these crops, I and so many others would have dried up and been blown away in the wind.
I've seen my fair share of hardships this year. Blown engines, the destruction of my family and the damaging nature of mother nature. Seen the kindness of strangers and the cruelty of close friends. In the times when i wanted to give up, they was the ones whom picked me up and pointed me in the right direction.
Now i am again a quiet, lone individual sitting and wondering. Finally was graced with enough time to sit and look at the calluses that had grown on my hands. Born from the need and want to live. To keep and protect my simple livelihood and what few earthly possessions i have now. I have secured myself a place in my community and thought slow at first, they are beginning to accept me. Accept the sacrifice's that i have made.
A note to my friends and loved ones here. Though i am gone, I still keep each and every one of you in my thoughts. I wonder how you are and how you've continued in my absence. Please don't hate me for making the decision's that I have but like seasons, there is time for everything. I had mine and it was a pleasant experience. Learnt many things. The nature of people and their ways. In a way you all have helped me see things in a better light and for that I thank you.

Something i found worth watching
Posted 14 years agoThere has come time even in all our lives when we just feel down. And in that moment even the hordes of friends and the loved ones can't cheer one up. I have to confess, here as of late I have had one those moments. So sitting here and pondering what i should be doing or what i'd be doing tomorrow, i was poking around on Hulu.com and like all enjoy a manga from time to time. Listing after listing of the shows, i happened across "My Bride is a Mermaid" Yeah yeah i know, ya think it's just another manga about a boy that gets lucky and has all the girls after him. Corny sidekicks and crazy plot twists well ... your right but like i said I had given up, haven't laughed in soo long I had forgotten how. In watching a few of the episodes, I have laughed soo hard i was crying. I realized that my problems though real was nothing compared to the boy in the series. If nothing else, go check it out, you might crack a smile or worse

Things to do around home..
Posted 14 years ago1.Re-wire the riding mower [x]
2.find a tranny for my S-10 [x ] working on that one.. (fixed the original, it was the bushing right behind the front pump)
3.redo the boarding for my patio [x ] yeah...
4.Manage to survive the next 3 weeks with my mother living here [x ] work in progress XD
5.find that funneh smell in my fridge and kill it [x ]
Ok wish me luck everyone.. think the mom one is gonna be the hardest

many a thing in my life..
Posted 15 years agoSo many things can go wrong in an instant.. and i tell you all this from personal experience. Took a break from SL to calm my head and my nerves from all the drama. Only to be the bullseye for a teenager and her cherry red Scion. Survived that and was laid up for a entire month worrying and wondering what all my friends and mate was up too. I guess some questions are sometimes better left un-answered. So much had changed while I was gone, so many friends had thought i had left. They simply cleared me of their lists and of their mind, not caring what had happened. Though there was some whom was deeply conserned and waited patiently. I got the worst shock having found my mate as anothers pet. Who knew a friend would do that to ya.. anyway and needless to say. I am single again, alone to wander the world as a lost soul. Sure I still stop in from time to time to check on everyone, but whom knows maybe one day, another will find the keys to my heart and open a great treasure.
