.... Is pretty damn awesome. Played the demo on my 3DS today. Gotta say I enjoyed it. The 3D effect adds to the experience, and the host of new features is really awesome (as a HBG user, i must admit i found the new crouch turret mode pretty neat if a little dangerous).

I was worried about the auto lock on feature, since i thought the ability to stay locked onto a monster would detriment the experience, but i found that the feature is actually not nearly that cheap. It just makes the camera face the monster instead of actually locking on. I liked it!

Definitely going to pick this one up. Also the 3DS castlevania if the opportunity arises. And fire emblem.

FINALLY the 3ds is starting to accumulate titles that I can lose myself in. Good times. :)

Some random news as to what I've been up to, and looking into:

Planetside 2 - despite my dislike for pvp games, I find myself absorbed into this game. The result. Lots of shooting of peoples, and lots and lots of raegquit.

League of Legends - never played a game more competitive than this (and I used to play counterstrike back in the day). Lots of rude people, lots of angry people who blame others for a lack of teamwork when they aren't doing anything themselves, and lots of really hardcore people who think that either you 'get' LoL, or you don't, regardless of experience. I stopped playing after five games; I want nothing to do with this monstrosity of a game.

Monster Hunter 4 - Well, its time to get a 3DS. The next monster hunter on it will support online play, and have an asston of cool stuff. Likely we will be sacrificing some graphical capability, but I think it will still be worth it, cause MH kicks ASS

Endless space - It's like Civilization, in space! basically. I still enjoyed it cause it has pretty graphics and some good gameplay :3

Minecraft - Yup. I'm into minecraft again. There's a new modset called 'Feed the beast' which has a ton of cool stuff in it. Even though I had a private server running, with the next update I will likely start a new one and play some more. Twilight forest exploration, ahoy!

SWTOR - I got a time card to play with some friends. That hasn't really turned out too well, but I'm still enjoying the game. Yeah, its like WoW starwars, but hey - its got laser guns and more importantly, a story for each character type. That's the biggest pull for me.

I have a lot of things to be thankful for - a roof over my head, food, and a decent income. I know that there are many people out there who have a lot less than I do, and also people out there who have a lot more. All of us should be thankful for everything we have, regardless of what it is or how much it is.


That said, in regards to this website, I am most thankful for all of the really nice and awesome people who I have met, and the smaller group of people who have gone the extra distance and become friends. You guys are all awesome :3

ARRRGH, i hate it when events like kiribans happen when I'm sleeping! At about 4:00 my time, the page hit 100k views. Three brave souls were actually up and sent me notes for the screencap, and I've noted them all with their results.

ok, this is starting to get annoying. I am starting to see more and more people using my character and calling it their own on F-list.

I already dislike the art I buy going to places like e621 (which is basically a place to have your character put up on a chopping block and insulted), but now people are just swiping whatever they want and using it however they want.

So, while I still play star trek online every now and then, I have found myself playing DDO (dungeons and dragons online- another game I was experimenting with) more often.

Does anyone play? I'm finding myself getting into it more and more and more >.>

I've seen a few talented folks put up RP logs (sometimes for sale, sometimes for free).

I almost never RP these days (it does happen, but its like a 0.01% chance), but I was wondering if people might be interested in reading some of my older logs.

Y'see, I've saved the logs from my best RP partner, because we thought they were really good. I even got some pics commissioned here and there of characters/events in the RPs.

But here's the thing. They tend to get... long. Like... really long. I think the longest RP that I have saved is like 500,000 words.

Here's an example of two paragraphs from one of them:

The light on her body almost felt heavy, and soon, she almost felt strangulated by it- it was almost pressing against her skin, and she could feel her body weakening and slipping down... then... "That's enough. Nothing is happening." It was the voice of the angry old man. The box shut, and Zoe's eyes suddenly adjusted to the dim light once more. "I knew it. No sign from the goddess. You're a dead man, Tor." The old man began to laugh, but the entire room soon silenced itself as a dull roar of a moo suddenly burst forth... from Zoe!

She couldn't help herself, as she arched her back, and lay on the floor, on her knees, with her hands behind her. Something was... wrong! she could feel it in her entire being, and she felt sickness, pain, pleasure, and despair all at once building on her! Her udder hardened, her breasts throbbed and tightened, and her sex pulsed and throbbed, and then... her body's physical sensations overwhelmed her, and her moo filled the room! The men looked back at the panting cowgirl, and stared- at the bulges at the bast of her udder teats. As you all can see, they are QUITE long. I dunno if they can hold people's interest, or if it's even worthwhile to post them. This particular story takes place in a future world where class has divided society greatly, and each 'zone' of said city is walled off from each other. Technology and strange magics exist (though the latter are more hidden) and in the blue zone (the wealthiest zone) people experiment with all sorts of genetics. They also 'hire' people from the less fortunate zones, though the contracts basically turn these people into sex slaves. This young woman was sold in order to help her family survive, and quickly succumbed to the random gene-altering drugs that float around the blue district's slaves, causing her to transform into a cow-morph. She becomes very fertile, gets impregnated a few times, and also gets involved in all sorts of crazy storylines. The excerpts above come from a bit later in the story, after a crazy cult abducts her for their own purposes.

It is worthwhile to note that stories like this inspired pics like this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4394725/ which an artist friend of mine was willing to draw. Additionally... this story is rather tame, transformation wise XD. There are some crazy TF stories in my folder, lol.

So, I've played a lot of games over the years, and with everyone focused on a lot of the new games (I.E ME3) I figured I'd ask some folks about their favorite older games (been wanting to do this for a while).

I also mean games from before the year 2000.

here are some of my favs, per console. Anyone else got any favs that people have probably never heard of?

SEGA:
Phantasy Star IV: My most Favorite game ever. Great RPG, with all the good fixins!
Crusader of Centy: A decent LoZ competetor. Top down, action based, with a decent storyline and some cool gameplay!
Shining Force 2: If you are into tactical RPGs, this is your game! SF1 is ok too, but never made the impression that SF2 did for me.

SNES:
Terranigma: Ok, so I had never heard of this game till I randomly played it on an emulator. It freaking ROCKS. Great gameplay, with a hell of a storyline. Is a top down RPG/action game, kinda like zelda.
Seiken Densetsu 3:Secret of Mana 2... that never came over to the states. Available only via emulator in english. I liked it loads better than Secret of Mana 1, because of the extra options and class paths.

PC games:
Dungeon Master: The mother of all RPGs. It's from the 80s, but has the stuff that we expect in great games today: customization, inventory management, real time effects, and exploration. DM2 takes it a step further as well with overground places and a town with shops. One of my favorite game series of all time.
Strife: The very first FPS/RPG I ever played. I was amazed by it! I love the final weapon (you have to assemble it as you go through the story) and the places you go and things you do! kick ass!
System Shock 2: The second FPS/RPG i ever played. A space horror game, which Bioshock is the 'spiritual successor' of. I think Bioshock is a great game, to be sure, but imo SS2 is waaaaay better. Bioshock just couldnt scare me like SS2 did.

There were some games from the commodore64 that I played too... but i was so young that I can't remember their names, so alas, I must exclude them.

The title says it all :P

Now, back to SW:ToR I go!

"Wow. You ever play one of those games that make you shiver as you beat it and look at the credits? One of those games that had everything you could want of it's genre? Bastion is that kind of game. Just looking at the screenshots, I SEVERELY underestimated it's gameplay and story. There's lots of choices for how you progress through the game, but it doesn't overload you, and on top of that, the music is incredible! This is a doozie of a game, people! Supergiant games deserves every last penny from this purchase- and I can't recommend it enough!"


This was a hell of a game. I thought it looked rather standard/mundane and boring from the screenshots, but they did it no justice at all. I got the game purely on the reviews from all over the web (everyone likes it), and their opinions are justified.

Wow, school has been kicking my ass. I signed up for 13 credits this term, and each class is giving me LOADS of homework @.@ ... I find myself having to do my homework as soon as i get home, just to keep up.

In other news, my good old Office Max chair broke, because instead of welding the metal underside of the seat, to the hydraulic column, they glued it, and the glue failed. The neighbor across the street was kind enough to offer to weld it in place, and I accepted, but the heat from the weld ended up destroying the hydraulics and the button that controls it @.@ Ended up having to get another one (also from Office max, but this time with their insurance thing)

Also, video games! Even though i still haven't beaten fallout: NV, I have gotten my grubby paws on Dead Island and Civ 5.

Dead Island- a very fun (if sometimes glitchy) game... but ALAS!!! It gives me motion sickness! I haven't had this kind of motion sickness in a while, and its depressing to find out I didn't overcome it. >.< I still might try to play it here and there, but... I am le sad.

I also got Civ 5, and holy crap its a lot more addicting than I thought. I mainly got it to see what all the fuss was about (and because accursed steam put it on sale for 75% off- damn them and their wallet draining deals!!!) GREAT game... but every time I have played it... I haven't been able to finish. The first time, the game glitched out @.@ and the second time, my computer pulled too much power or something, and blew a fuse @.@ very aggravating.

So, busy wolf is busy.

No, not a real one. I just played fallout 3 for two days straight, interrupted by only 5-6 hour sleeping periods.

I barely ate anything, and after waking up... At 6 PM locally... I feel like i just came out of a coma. I just slept for 15 hours straight!

Damnit, this isnt the first time its happened either... I did this also with elder scrolls 4 when it first came out, and also LoZ: Windwaker and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia..

Man those were some good games... But groggy wolf now needs to get a sleeping schedule in order for the next school term, which starts in less than 2 weeks.

Anyone else similarily get affected with zombie-ism from certain games?
