It's been a rough few days. On July 2nd my brother passed away from an overdose. He had been in recovery for the last 2 years. We were very close and spent time together every week and he worked with my husband. We've fought so hard for his recovery only to lose him. My heart is completely broken and life won't be the same.

Just a quick life update for those who are interested. Things are really busy for me right now. I got a full time job working with parolees and probationers so that's always interesting. We're busy with major home renovations. (The joys of owning a home). My sewing machine has died and stopped me on progress on two suits. The upside I'm getting a 1940's singer and a Janome to replace my dead machine. And for some awesome news. I have reserved my hotel room for MFF 2017!

I'm cleaning up my Gallifrey full suit and getting him ready for auction. I am keeping the character but he's getting an update and the suit won't match these changes. I'll also be selling the sabertooth to fund an update and new suit for my husband.

Super excited to go to MFF very soon! Hopefully I'll get to meet some new people and spend time with old friends. My husband and I got a room at the con hotel we booked back in April! I haven't been to a big con since AC 2014 lol!

I just started working this week for the first time since I got out of the Navy (4 years). I got my Bachelors in August and already got a job in my field. I won't give out business names but I'm helping rehabilitate probationers and parolees and doing community corrections. It's taking a bit to adjust to a full time job so next time I'll probably see anyone is MFF.

Now that summer is over and hopefully calmed down. Just some general life updates. I graduated with my bachelors in August and am lining up job interviews. Nearly lost my husband two weeks ago to a severe allergic reaction, he got stung over 50 times by yellow jackets. This was on the day of my grad party so it was cancelled. The damn epipen costs $735! Almost as much as he ER visit. In July my husband got injured and required surgery. Then during the hottest few days my air conditioner died. Needless to say my luck has been awful. On the bright side I should be working soon, and I entered my daughter in a Dreamworks dragon fan contest and she won!

I'm still hanging around. I've been super busy this summer. I've taken 18 credits at SHU but I will have my bachelors this Friday. Also been job hunting and getting ready to start working. Hopefully this fall when things settle down I'll be more active.

So I've had a few problems with some individuals mentioning that my Dutchie Gallifrey is not supposed to have dew claws. I believe people are thinking he has thumbs. They are dew claws and I have asked an archangel if they were ok and I got the ok. I have screenshots but I shouldn't have to even be doing this, it's silly. This is why the DADs get a bad reputation.

Today is my birthday but it's been a tough couple of days. My brother went missing for a few days and is now back in jail. My $2000 four year old refrigerator died, the kitchen table lost a leg, and my popcorn maker died. So I've had my run of bad luck lately, but I will not let it keep me down.

So super excited I was able to get a room at the Hyatt for MWFF 2016! We'll be there Friday to Sunday! It sold out super fast but it's just my husband and I. Can't wait!!!! Now I have to finish up my suit and start on his! 8 months to go lol

Looking to commission a badge that says something along the lines of "please ask for hugs, suiter is disabled. Or gentle hugs" I want to interact and hug in suit but have knee and back issues that have led me to be considered disabled by the VA. So, glombing or rough hugs or hanging on me can significantly increase the pain I already deal with daily. Let me know if you have an opinion or better way to phrase it or would like to make said badge with Gallifrey on it. Obviously I'm not asking for free work so let me know your price!

I'm starting a new hobby and hopefully next week my first attempt at tanning a hide will be ready to show. My dog Rover is an excellent rabbit hunter and instead of letting any bit of his well executed kills go to waste I'll be trying various ways of tanning pelts. Please note I do not condone or encourage my dog to hunt, he has a high prey drive, we have a few acres and he happens to be excellent at dispatching rabbits and bringing the them in. If you have any interest in obtaining a hide or skull please note me. Occasionally he does get a raccoon or opossum. Again I do not encourage this behavior. My dog is under excellent vet care with up to date vaccinations.

I'm getting over some flu thing and all the coughing has caused me to put my back out. I've been dealing with back problems for awhile but it just gets worse. Usually my back spasms and then stops but not today. Between my damaged right knee and my back I'm really having a tough time. It's great the military pays me disability but I really just want these things fixed and so they can just stop paying. I pride myself on being a hard worker but now I'm just depressed about not being able to vacuum or sweep. Hell, I'm not even 30. Ok I feel a bit better.

I got a new phone last week. I had to wait till my plan renewed, but I got an iPhone 6s and now I can receive phone calls again. My last phone wouldn't receive calls even though I had signal and my bill was always paid. My number never changed for those who have it. Oh and I can also be found on telegram @ Grissoul crossfox but I'm kind of inconsistent with it.

My class load for my bachelors has got me beyond stressed out. I've lost weight which is good but my hair is falling out. My PTSD and anxiety has always made it hard for me to sleep but between staying up for homework or studying and taking care of a baby I hardly ever sleep. I manage my time wisely but with kids I can't always do homework during the day. I'm so tempted to get a hotel room and hide in bed all weekend where I can't be bothered. Anywho I really just needed to vent. I'll survive it's what I do.

So this year I should be at GLFC and MWFF. For GlFC I'll be there for the Saturday only and that should be when my Gallifrey suit débuts. For MWFF I'll be there the entire con! I'd love to meet as many people as possible and hopefully get to know some of my watchers!

Just a little update on my life for those who care,
It is crazy busy for me right now I'm a full time college student trying to get my bachelors done by August. I'm also interning at a potential future job as a probation officer. And if that all wasn't enough the kids are all keeping me busy especially now that Paige is almost 8 months old and crawling. I'm working on my new suit but time is very very limited. I will be attending GLFC for one day and MFF for the entire weekend. Hope to spend more time with friends come this summer when I'm not so busy.

For some reason my cell phone isn't working I can't make or receive calls or texts. Yes I paid my bill lol, but it seems like ATT decided to shut off my phone and I need to bring my receipt to the store and hopefully get this cleared up.

I'm taking a break on that grumpy tiger, the ears have me frustrated. I'm working on a personal suit. It's going to be Dr. Who themed. I'm too excited to get going on it, the only issue is finding time. With three kids and college starting back up, it's hard to find time.

Just an update I gave birth on June 13th (my birthday) to a little girl we named Paige! Everything is going great she's healthy and I'm recovering fast. My other two kids are in love with their baby sister.

So outta curiosity who is going to MCFC this year? I want to go for a night or two but since my husband probably can't come I'm looking for some company. No I'm not looking for a room to stay in or anything like that. Just some friends that I know that will be there so I don't have some anxiety attack at being overwhelmed and alone.

I figured its about time I post something... Things are pretty crazy for me lately I'm dealing with a lot of family issues and I don't foresee them coming to a happy ending anytime soon. My health has taken a turn for the scary with my heart condition becoming more severe. But, on a positive note the pregnancy is going just fine and by June 18th there will be a new addition to my family. I will attempt to make it to GLFC but its really close to my due date. Obviously AC won't be happening this year. Ohhhh more exciting news I ordered a new mannequin head and am getting things going on some new partials I'll post concept work later.

I'm pregnant with my third child and due in June! My husband and I couldn't be more happy. So, what does this mean for local meets? I will try my best to do hosting at my house as it seems to work out well. I will try my best to stay active in the furry community, but drives to the Grand Rapids meets will be slowing down depending on how I feel.

Now I want to complain a bit.... If you don't want to hear it feel free to stop reading now. How come my furry friends are more excited about my pregnancy than my own family? You guys are generally happy for my husband and I, but all I get from my family is stupid comments. Here I'll list a few.
