Heeeey, I hope everyone is doing fine !

I wanted to let you guys know that I worked my ass off in June, and I managed to wipe out the biggest debt I had hovering over my head for 2 years !
Finally some advancement, all of my administrative stuffs are unlocked and finally working, so everything should align naturally now heh.

All there is left, is paying/regulate my taxes from last year who were blocked behind some administration malfunction (about 1700€), and pay my 1300€ debt that's still ungoing, but those are like, not so bad and only take like 100€ of my money each month, so it's good.

Now I need to figure out how to deal with the 23.6% taxes I have on everything I earn, cause it's quite alot heh, and I need to potentially rethink my prices around that.

Now ... Ok, so you might have seen me posting commissions for like a month now, after drawing for myself like a month before that even...

So I'm doing it officially on this journal for now, but YES I am officially open for commissions again, I did a test round on my Telegram & Discord to get back in groove with some very specific format.
The format list will evolve with time, but for now i'm focusing on some cheaper format, the portrait format might appear soon for the lowest price I can handle (35-50€~ or something)

As the why am I forced to get back to it a bit faster than I anticipated, here it is (it's a long text, i'm sorry, but the more transparent I am about it, the better.)

Ok, so maybe I should explain what's going on suddenly. Cause yeah, it is ALOT for me to process too, and it's kind of stressful, even tho thanks to your presence and my friends presence on a daily basis, I truely think I can go through this and make it in one piece !

So basically, I've been helped by the government to get by for a few years now, they were helping me financially on a monthly bases, but due to some miscalculations on their part and one mistake on my part, they have recalculated all my financial help rights since 2020.

They recalculated all of this in 2022 basically and we ended up with a debt of 7500€~ that we were supposed to pay off by chunks of 200€/month for like a 2 years and then they decided to transfer that debt to another organism half way through it. But that organism took literally a year and a half to reach to us... They contacted us a few weeks ago, and now are asking us to pay the remaining 4160€ all at once OR in 10 times maximum... Which is roughly 400€/month on top of our already existing bills who are roughly around 1600€/month (Rent, Food, Electricity, Internet.)
(No we can't look for a cheaper place, we don't even have a minimum wage of earnings anymore, no landlord would accept us.)

I thought it was it, but they contacted me again telling me that they miscalculated our financials righst for the period of August to November 2022 and added an extra 1300€ to all of this, which I agreed to pay in 20 or 10 month, which will be either 60€/month or 120€/month ... Which will result in us having to pull out 2160~2220€/month out of nowhere each month for like 10 month at the very least.

Yes, I did try to negotiate that some stuff are not my fault and I shouldn't be accountable with them, but it's no use trying to fight it, they'll always be "right". ((Yes, France is a shit hole too sometimes.))

I know it's going to hard as heck but I'm sure we can go through it, but in the mean time, since my hubby will be looking for a job soon to fix that situation, I am calling on to your help to survive the beginning of it.

I'll need to think of an idea on how to thanks people who will donate to help us out, maybe some cute portrait ? I don't know, i'll have to brain storm about this cause I'll be working on a lot of commissions on the side as well, so no promises. (I don't plan on relying on donations to live, this tanuki needs to work for his earnings.)

Ok ... so where to start ...

I thought I was in burn-out 6 years ago and that I experienced it before ... turns out I didn't ?

I am now in an actual physical and mental burnout, I couldn't even imagine how awfull of a feeling it is. I have been for a month and a half actually, work can NOT leave my mind, money can NOT leave my mind, I feel like if I let go of it for just a month I will loose everything that I have.

I am feeling restless, my sleep are no longer repairing even with my CPAP, my body hurts when I wake up and my memory is very impaired I can't remember crap of what I have to do, I need to check details of stuff every 5 minutes (this has been going on for a couple of month already.) my work flow is terribly slow and can't even draw for myself, I randomly cry for no reason, I am irritable, I isolate myself, I cannot focus on anything, my mind just goes somewhere everytime I try to focus down I just space out, I am incredibly stressed out cause I don't have alot of money to fall back on in that kind of situation.

So while I have one commission in the making that will be done slowly, it's a sketch I should be able to finish it.

I will put myself in sick leave and figure something out, I cannot keep pushing or I will most likely kill myself slowly, I will take a whole month without thinking about work after I'm done my current commission and after I come back, I will have to make some changes in the way I approach work otherwise I will be jumping in another burn out.

I'm sorry my content and presence have be a disaster lately, I haven't been able to entertain as much as I would like to, but I can't just keep ignoring my body. I just can't.

If I come back sooner that's good, if not well ... It means I'm still struggling. But let's hope I will atleast be able to draw for myself in that short time.

I hesitated to do this for a while, but here it is.

I have a 13 years old Cintiq 13HD tablet who's dying and I've been meaning to get my paws on a new one before this one dies, so if you guys are up to help me achieve that.

All Twitch subs and Ko-fi donations are put in a saving account for me to get that tablet as soon as I can afford it.
I sometimes put some extra money I get from comms in it when everything doesn't go in bills, I hope i'll be able to reach out that amount of money before my actual tablet dies and prevent me from doing anymore work until I get a new one.

I'm aiming for the new Cintiq 16 Pro, so it's a bit expensive, but I'm really used to wacom products, so I'll stick with them as long as I can since their gear is durable in time.
