I decided to take a little break, from 2025 December 23rd to 2026 January 2nd. No worries, I'm fine! It is just the occasional "recharging the batteries" everybody deserves from time to time. I'm still not sure if it will be even a break from social media (apart of occasional peek), if I'll make some Pearsonal art or if I'll rest completely, but I decided I won't work on commissions during this period.

So, clients with ongoing/scheduled commissions: please contact me, so we can talk about expected timelines!

I still don't have a date for next commission opening, probably around first or second week of 2026.

Okay, it's October, but I need to solve some unexpected bureaucratic stuff (and this is one of the *biggest* triggers for my anxiety)... so I'll organize commissions announcements in the next days, I hope, but probably not today. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Maybe I'll post some art/WIPs later, not sure!

Hmmm I'm very willing to make more Ultraman fanart - not exactly the silver being we all love (but maybe?), but the hosts and other characters in furry form. As it happens with Star Trek, I have lots of ideas, but I can't decide I think input from my dear Pearlets will be welcome! Current ideas:

- Hideki Go ♥️. Send me your favorite photos of him! Both the classic stylish model from Return of Ultraman (1971) in flamboyant civilian clothes, or the very charming older man from Ultraman Mebius (2006)/The Super 8 Ultra Brothers movie (2008). I have some sketches but still no idea about what to ink/color. Having some ideas about Kishida too. Again, list your favorite moments!
- I need to draw more of the 1966 crew. Ide first of course (I love him!) but anyway all of them. Fun, cute or cool ideas for scenes and situations are welcome!
- Currently almost finishing Ultraman Mebius and absolutely in love with it, perfect series! Drop your favorite characters/scenes here! Currently working on designs for all GUYS, and a cute scene.
- I have some ideas for Dan Moroboshi, both from the first episode of Ultraseven, or the alternate version of The Super 8 Ultra Brothers movie (2008) (the restaurant! I'm screaming!!!)
- Also watching Ultraman Omega (2025). So far, loving it!
- Starting Ultraman Ace (1972), shocked because Hokuto is way too cheerful (I'm not sure if he will be that way for all series but whatever). Yuko is so cool too and the handkerchiefs are over cute---

I'll be opening commissions again next week, on September 4th 2025. There will be way less slots, only three; so, if you want your commission next month, save the date and let notifications for channel on, so you can fill the form early 😉

Sorry for the lack of personal art, or art in general. A lot is going on IRL (family responsibilities + taking care of rattos, especially Data whose health is declining); not to mention the "whatever is going on" since "I don't even know anymore when" (severe social isolation that is a long sad history, grief). I'm trying my best to do my commissions, in fact they are roughly on schedule! But I'm clearly in a pre-burnout stage and can't do much more than I'm already doing. I apologize I can't even answer comments messages properly, but be sure I still deeply value them ❤️ Thanks for still being here, for understanding, and patience ❤️

If you follow my Telegram channel, you probably know I was on a hard spot during Sunday/Monday.

I had to deal with some sudden heavy issues at the same time, and that exposed how my current support system is currently way beyond my needs; I could not do all I needed to, because I didn't have enough help to delegate in an emergency. I also realized how little is the contact I have with most of my family, and I even had some misunderstandings with some of my few IRL friends that made me feel very down...

At least some people talked to me extensively these days and shared some experiences that helped me to cope; I'm VERY grateful for them.

And also, my customers were the most understanding in the world! I can say I was lucky that I was fired from dayjob a year and a half ago, because in this year and a half you were supportive and kind in ways most people there weren't in 10+ years.

So, conclusion and TL; DR: How do you rebuild your life/support system like that? How do you rebuild your resilience and self-esteem? Is it possible to find a "chosen family" when you spent your life trying to fit, you failed, and now you are starting again being almost 40 yo?

I don't ask for pity or anything else. I'm typing this in a calm state of mind. It's mostly that I presume people here have the experience and can share tips. And don't take much effort on it; just share if you already has it on the tip of your tongue and if you are comfortable. You can comment here, or send me a note if you want to keep the talk private.
