A new month approaches, that means: commissions will reopen soon! It is scheduled to May 5th, 2026, Tuesday. So, if you are willing to commission me, please let your notifications on, so you don't miss the opening. As I'm still clearing my queue, I'll probably get something between three to five slots, depending on the complexity of what you ask me this month '^__^. Things are WAY more stable on my end but I'm still kinda recovering, so I'll try to take it easy with workload and themes. General | Posted 2 months agoFirst of all, thank you so much for your help! Lots of heartwarming talks, the support around Ko-fi (both sharing and donating), the understanding about the commissions... it's good to know there is many good and patient people around during a difficult moment!
We are on a quest for suitable new cagemates for my rat, Dan. Unfortunately the loss of Hayata + an already not-very-stable personal situation (unstable job, IRL social isolation that I'm slowly trying to overcome, previous traumas resurfacing) took a serious toll on my mental health. I'm recovering but I'm still working way less hours per day than my usual, and I need to make some important announcements:
- For people currently on my queue: the estimated completion time for your commissions is until the end of 2026, April. I'll try my best to complete them until the end of 2026, March, though.
- I will not open commissions in the first week of 2026, March. I surely have extra vet expenses + I need to care about my mental health, but I can't take more commissions without working first on my current queue. I'll maybe open them towards the end of the month, or in April. Stay tuned for updates!
- So, in the meantime, all help around my Ko-fi (link!) is welcome. Sharing, donating, subscribing.... people who already donated, first of all, thank you! Second, don't forget to check the page to see the early access art, sketches, and WIPs. It is humble but it is honest work. I hope you like it!
- Well, help with visibility in general is always welcome, so, when I open commissions again, hopefully business can go nice and smooth. February was a bit rough, even before all those personal issues. But I'll try my best to find calmer seas and cleaner skies ahead!

So, yesterday I lost one of my rats, Hayata, in a post-op complication. It was the worst pet loss I've experienced - and, as I've kept pet rats since 2017, I've had a lot of losses. He was relatively young (only 10 months old) and also we are accessing how to take care of Dan (his remaining brother),
As you imagine, that came with a lot of veterinary expenses too. And this month I got only 2/5 of the expected commissions (I'm totally grateful to the people that got the slots!). Maybe it is just a slow month, and even if last year was nice in terms of commissions I know it is a kinda unstable job (but, well, I don't see any alternative for the moment... this is one more depressive talk for another day). So, if you can share stuff around, that would help a lot!
I really want to thank the people that are * still * around, you are the world for me. I still want to bring a bit of joy to people and animals around me (even if I can't see anything sparkling joy myself, right now).

So, it is already 2026! Thank you so much for all your kindness and support during 2025; it helped me through hard moments, and I enjoyed to share the happiness during the good ones. It makes me feel energised for the New Year, and I hope you feel the same too. I took my mini-semi-hiatus to organize and declutter a bit of daily IRL stuff (from wardrobe to art supplies). It wasn't much, but it was honest!
About my work, commissions are scheduled to reopen on January 9th, 2026. If you are planning to get some cute custom Valentines art, this is a good opening for it (as the February one would be way too close of the date). I decided to take a little break, from 2025 December 23rd to 2026 January 2nd. No worries, I'm fine! It is just the occasional "recharging the batteries" everybody deserves from time to time. I'm still not sure if it will be even a break from social media (apart of occasional peek), if I'll make some Pearsonal art or if I'll rest completely, but I decided I won't work on commissions during this period.
So, clients with ongoing/scheduled commissions: please contact me, so we can talk about expected timelines!
I still don't have a date for next commission opening, probably around first or second week of 2026.

Hmmm I'm very willing to make more Ultraman fanart - not exactly the silver being we all love (but maybe?), but the hosts and other characters in furry form. As it happens with Star Trek, I have lots of ideas, but I can't decide I think input from my dear Pearlets will be welcome! Current ideas:
- Hideki Go ♥️. Send me your favorite photos of him! Both the classic stylish model from Return of Ultraman (1971) in flamboyant civilian clothes, or the very charming older man from Ultraman Mebius (2006)/The Super 8 Ultra Brothers movie (2008). I have some sketches but still no idea about what to ink/color. Having some ideas about Kishida too. Again, list your favorite moments!
- I need to draw more of the 1966 crew. Ide first of course (I love him!) but anyway all of them. Fun, cute or cool ideas for scenes and situations are welcome!
- Currently almost finishing Ultraman Mebius and absolutely in love with it, perfect series! Drop your favorite characters/scenes here! Currently working on designs for all GUYS, and a cute scene.
- I have some ideas for Dan Moroboshi, both from the first episode of Ultraseven, or the alternate version of The Super 8 Ultra Brothers movie (2008) (the restaurant! I'm screaming!!!)
- Also watching Ultraman Omega (2025). So far, loving it!
- Starting Ultraman Ace (1972), shocked because Hokuto is way too cheerful (I'm not sure if he will be that way for all series but whatever). Yuko is so cool too and the handkerchiefs are over cute---

- I have some ideas for Dan Moroboshi, both from the first episode of Ultraseven, or the alternate version of The Super 8 Ultra Brothers movie (2008) (the restaurant! I'm screaming!!!)
- Also watching Ultraman Omega (2025). So far, loving it!
- Starting Ultraman Ace (1972), shocked because Hokuto is way too cheerful (I'm not sure if he will be that way for all series but whatever). Yuko is so cool too and the handkerchiefs are over cute---
