Sorry for the delay of the message - I had a "stomach flu" this week; I didn't need hospitalization, but still, I barely could work for 2 days. Also, mental health gave a turn for the bad... very bad. I'm working on current commissions, but slowly; thanks for understanding! And I'll be starting psychotherapy again soon; I'm still choosing a professional (as my case is kinda sensitive) so I set a new goal on my Ko-Fi. I'm *slowly* going back to work. Dear costumers please be patient, you may have updates on your commissions next week (2024 May 27th-31st). Thank you so much for understanding.

I'll be taking a break from publishing personal arts and, possibly, even commissions, at least until 2024 May 24th. Don't expect much movement here until then.

To reassure you, my immediate family is fine, including old Pear Mama and Pear Papa.

However, this morning I received the news of the loss of one of my best friends from high school. Has this been about 20 years of friendship, or more? He had long struggled with several health problems. But. Even so. It was very surprising. I'm literally still in disbelief. I'll be taking this break to deal with what happened, and offer all the support I can to anyone who needs it.

Question for dear Pearlets: where do you sell commissions?

For the moment I'm having a nice, sufficient influx. I implanted some changes on my way of posting by suggestion of a friend (thank you guy!), and it worked; I'm also organizing the periods I open commissions in a way that helps me both with keeping a flux of announcements, and respecting my limits and my anxiety.

But, in the future, I'll be needing a bit more commissions per month to make the ends meet. Any ideas?

I'm even considering do go back to Twitter, although I actively dislike the platform. How is the ex-birb site going? I also have some limitations of social energy to run my own Discord server (although I participate in others) or a lot of tiers for Ko-Fi or Patreon (I'm currently organizing a Ko-Fi tier by the way, stay tuned!). It's a constant balance between what I need in terms of income and what I can do, keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Anyway. Comments are open for ideas, I can share what's working for me too!
