Those Who Brought Us Jhonen Vasquez Need Help
Posted 15 years agoI know the following has nothing to do with anything furry related, but I'd like to think that there are enough people here familiar with works like JTHM and Invader ZIM to want to lend a hand to Jhonen Vasquez' publishers SLG.
Hey you! Ever find yourself enjoying the comics Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Squee!, Lenoire, or hell, even Invader ZIM? Thinking about lending a helping hand to indy comic publisher SLG then! They're the ones to thank for the awesomeness of Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge and right now they're in trouble! https://www.slgcomic.com/legaldfund_ep_80-1.html
Seriously guys. Indy comic companies are good things. They give the world comics to read that aren't bogged down by over marketing and editorial mandates! Support independent publishers!

Hey. How The Hell Are Ya?
Posted 15 years agoI've been rather silent recently. So my apologies to anyone out there that likes hearing me ramble on or fire back sarcasm and weirdness at comments. I've been busy trying to keep my head above the water on art stuff. Commissions, the Voodoo Walrus comic, and some other stuff as well.
To my Commissioners... everything is being worked on and you'll be seeing progress within the next week's worth of time.
To all you new people out there, hi! Welcome! If you're here for a mish mash of all kinds of stuff made by me, then huzzah! If you're here just for a specific sub-genre of art, my condolences. I don't stick to just one theme.
My head's all over the place currently so I'm still not much up for stalking around and offering up sarcastic or humorous musings.Art uploads will increase again this week then probably dwindle a bit the following week.
If you want more Grymmish action, follow me on The Twitter at http://twitter.com/Grymm or on http://voodoowalrus.com
There are currently no commission sales active. Though if you'd like to commission a piece, I can probably fit you in as long as you're not currently looking to get something huge and time consuming!

Affordable Comic Commissions. (5 slots left)
Posted 15 years agoTLDR Version:
Grymm's comic page commissions are too expensive! But he's figured out some alternative methods to lower prices and is offering them to YOU! Lay claim to a slot or slots by commenting or noting him!
Full Digital Shaded Color (Exactly like what you see me do in Voodoo Walrus): $50
Black and White Inked and shaded: $40
Cleaned up graphite: $30
More detailed explanation below:
Hey everybody. For a while now I've been pondering how best to offer a nice balance of quality and affordability when it comes to offering comic commissions. See, I generally subscribe to the industry standard when it comes to comic page layout... 11" x 17". This is friggin' huge. But it allows for a lot of detail to be packed in. But it also means it pretty expensive. Just for a page to be all in graphite I'd charge $50 .
This is fine for people you want something huge that they can eventually hold in their hand, admire, maybe even frame. But what about those people who simply want something quick and fun and affordable?
Well I think I've finally got it figured out.
I can offer smaller scale, more affordable comic pages to those interested but they'd be along the lines of the Voodoo Walrus comic pages like this one here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4170359
They'd be no larger than 9" x 12", could range from graphite to ink, to digital color, and while not packing an absolute ton of background detail, it'd still be more than some comic artists in the pro industry back in the 90's could do.
I love drawing comics. Obviously. I'd love to see more people commissioning me for comic page projects. But I don't want to have to break any one's adorable little piggy bank either.
So let's give this a whirl... I'm opening FIVE commission slots for comic pages. And its your choice as to which type of medium you'd like me to use.
Full Digital Shaded Color (Exactly likecoloring style in Voodoo Walrus): $50
Black and White Inked and shaded: $40
Cleaned up graphite: $30
So if you want a slot, let me know by comment or note. You can take just one, two, hell, you can take all five if you think you have an idea that might need the space.

Also, I think I've finally figured out a way to offer affordable prices for full color comic page commissions. But more on that later. I have some sketch commissions to crank out first ya know?

Fueled by Techno and Immaculate Rage
Posted 15 years ago(Reconstituted and filled out from Twitter ramblings)
Hey there my fellow "cool, hip, with-it, compatriots. The Grymm wants to hunker down and "rap" with "youse" "all.
No. Seriously. I have some things to direct at my so-called creative peers out there. I say so-called, because if the following applies to you, then I'd feel ashamed to consider you a peer in the first place. But that's okay. You just don't know any better. Yet.
Let's get down to brass tacks shall we? If you're considering yourself an "artist" and you buy pens or markers or any other paraphernalia simply because they're the "manga version" of the product? Then fuck you.
Fuck you hard. With a petrified porcupine coated in goddamn lye. Slow and meticulously. Over and over again. Your blood and tears for lube. Inflicted upon you by a large sweaty that stinks of waste and boiling cabbage. Breathing heavy and coughing on you occasionally as you weep and quiver.
But there's another to blame. Yes. Fuck you makers of said products. Labeling a pen with "manga" means nothing. You can ink drawings with almost anything its just as good. The only thing that fucking matters is what tool feels right to the artist. Hell, some can ink with a simple BIC pen amazingly! BIC, gel pen, Micron, Prismacolor, Faber-Castell, Staedtler, technical pen, calligraphy pen, brush and ink well, squid excretions, your evil baby sister's liquid hate. Any of those have the potential to be what works best for you.
You wankers just want to snatch up anything even vaguely suggesting it has something to do with Japanese culture thinking it'll make you better. Come on! Stop. Think. Ponder. EXPERIMENT. Try out various tools. Keep trying various tools. Observe differences. Don't just stick to one thing because it wants you to believe that it fills a niche. Hell, that manga marker? Yeah. You're paying 3 times the amount for just a normal product with a fancy label. Because you're an ignorant douche. That ink is the same ink that can be found in god knows how many other products.
Here's a good example. Take some pens for example. Micron and Prismacolor both make pens. All the same sizes. All the same ink. They just package 'em in different ways and possibly have differing qualities of nibs. That's all. Copic pens are no better, yet the nibs for their brush pens are infinitely better than the ones offer by both Prismacolor and Micron. And when the ink runs out? You can keep using that pen. No, you don't even have to buy the refill. Get yourself an ink well and dip that son of a bitch. Works beautifully.
Don't do what everyone else does. Don't do it in the same fashion that everyone else does. Don't do what a company suggests. Blaze your own bloody goddamn way through the thick of it and be AWESOME. Ascend. Reach deep down inside yourself like some kind of freaky little physics defying bastard and pull something new out of yourself. Fist over slimy, bile encrusted fist. Make something that's your own.
I don't care if you think Dragonball Z is pretty. What the hell does it matter with Naruto is neat, One Piece is original and refreshing in style, or if Pokemon is oh so cute. Don't just imitate perpetually. No one gains anything by copying something that's already there. The originator is going to do it better than you. Take inspiration from it and cultivate YOUR style. Take the things you like and incorporate them into a style of your very own.
Also? I hope you fucking choke on your goddamn "How to Draw Manga" books. I really do. I bet it tastes like mediocrity and dirty money. Learn the basics of drawing a figure. THEN work on stylizing it. There are no shortcuts. Only practice. If you must buy a how to book. Buy something that covers actual anatomy and the way the human body moves. Otherwise, like I requested earlier, please choke on your manga how to's. At least then the art community will be rid of you AND other copy of ruined tree pulp.
This has been a message from your friendly neighborhood Grymm: Fueled by techno and immaculate bloody rage. You know you love it, baby. Let's rock 'til morning. Show the bastards how its done. Boo-fucking-yah.

State of the Grymm
Posted 15 years agoRECEIVED A FEW QUESTIONS IN THIS REGARD SO I'M POSTING THE ANSWER HERE: COMMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN. NOTE ME IF INTERESTED. THAT GOES FOR ANYTHING. FULL COLOR, COMIC PAGES, GRAPHITE PIECES, BADGES, WHAT HAVE YOU. BUT SALE PRICE COMMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. NOW ON WITH THE JOURNAL POST.
Hi. Grymm (The Badger Grymm) Grymmowski here.
How the hell is everybody?
Every so often I figure its wise to touch base with all you awesome people intent on watching my work (and I brightens my life oh so much to know that you dig my stuff enough to watch for it).
For those interested in getting to know me better, well I'm a pessimistic optimist of a smarmy, sarcastic comic artist. But I'm more than willing to give straight, sincere answers when asked. I don't watch TV or keep up with new movies. I stream Venture Brothers and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and wait to see a few movies once they hit DVD.
I despise the trend of people foregoing developing a personal art style and instead simply going the Disney or anime route. I believe cell shading is an awful lot of work to go through just to make your coloring look like everybody else's.
I think pokemon having sex with each other falls under both bestiality and pedophilia. Yet, I fully intend to soon draw a ridiculous busty, anthro Pikachu in lingerie just for shits and giggles. (Let me explain, normal pokemon to me are like baby animals too dumb to do much more than obey and say their own name. I have no problem with making them look humanoid though. But seriously, normal pokemans fucking or people fucking them? Creeps me out.)
There's every chance that I've now pissed you off thoroughly. But that's okay. Everyone needs a little pissed offedness to flavor their day.
The point here? I'm weird by most standards.
I love drawing comics. I love drawing strange, surreal, creepy, ugly, scary things. However, I'm also very well skilled and loved for drawing big, curvy, busty badger babes, and bondage and femme furry guys. I have every intention of trying to combine these two wildly different styles and see what happens.
Though I'd be happy to suddenly be doing nothing but comic commissions and I'm slowly working out a way to offer lower prices on such.
If for some odd reason you'd like to get to know me even better... follow me on Twitter where I vomit forth my inner thoughts constantly: http://twitter.com/Grymm . I warn you though. I generally tweet-spam rambling insanity and issue forth random bits of Voodoo Walrus news intermixed with mundane day to day shit like blowing up my laboratory.
On the art side of things... commissions are currently in progress and getting done. There shall be pretty things posted soon.
Voodoo Walrus continues to go strong. If you're not reading it you should. Its the bi-weekly webcomic about strange, sexy, and hilarious things that I draw. You can read it at http://voodoowalrus.com/ and best of all... ITS FREE!
If Voodoo Walrus isn't your cup of tea, stay tuned. I have two more comic projects slowly in the works that'll be getting shown off soon.

Posted 15 years agoAll gone! Stay tuned though! I have something else in the pipes commission deal wise later in the month!
-Also... I'm only offering this deal until May 16, this coming weekend. So if you want a sale priced digital commish, snag a slot now cause the next sale with be graphite sketches!
-FIRST OFF HERE'S A BIT OF A SAMPLE AS TO WHAT'S BEING OFFERED. DIGITAL COMMISSIONS OF THIS STYLE AND QUALITY RIGHT HERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3818143/
Just thought I'd give a nice little heads up to anyone who may not be pay attention to journals very well and say, " Full color digital commissions are open again! And on sale!"
I am currently finishing up the last of the current digital commissions I have on slate so that means its prime time to open slots! I'm going to go ahead and open SIX (6) full color digital media commissions for now starting at $25 apiece!
What do you get for $25? A piece like the nice dragon femme in the sample above!
Or perhaps you want two characters like in the nice sample pic near the bottom there? That would run $35!
Maybe you'd like to add a fully detailed background to whatever you get? Fully detailed backgrounds start at an additional $20 (but may be more expensive depending on exactly what you want.
Now despite the curviness estrogen laden sample pic, these commissions are open to any themes. Anthro, human, fantasy creatures, male, female, transgender, herm, monster, surreal, action, violence, humor, smut, clean art, oddity. I just won't do anything involving kiddie porn, bathroom play, or feral animals banging each other (this includes Pokeyman porns and stuff like Lion King porn. If you want character with a humanoid anthro twist, that's doable though)
So if you're interested in snagging a commission, there's two things to do: FIRST... comment below and lay claim to one or however many slots you want. THEM... hang on for a bit cause either in a matter of minutes (or a matter of a couple of hours) I'll reply with something like "The slot is yours!" and then send you a note asking for what you want, references images, and giving you further details concerning payment and email info and such.
For a full run down on all of the ins and outs of my commission information, feel free to check this old journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/680257/
As per usual, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to contact me via comment, note, or by email. My email is thebadgergrymm[at]gmail.com

Voodoo Walrus Infects it First Con
Posted 15 years agoRavencon's over.
Incoming con report...
So in a nutshell, CreepKnight and I are considering Ravencon a success. Not an overwhlemingly, amazing triumphant success, but definitely a success. We went into things flailing a bit but acclimated rather quickly.
We had certain goals set to reach for the weekend: Grasp how a dealer's room for a fantasy/sci-fi/horror con is set up, see if we can fit in well, see what others are doing and selling and offering, try to break even on the table money end of things, make new friends, have fun, accost people with propaganda, pimp the comic, network, and not kill each other.
We succeeded on all these counts.
While the Ravencon dealer's room isn't exactly the best place for a webcomic, we found that they offer another artists' alley type area that they usually put webcomic creators at that might be more our speed next year and a rather lesser cost. Fact is, we currently just don't offer a wide enough range of stuff to be that sought out and prints aren't exactly a big draw with the Ravencon crowd. We did make a nice little profit off of me doing custom sketches for people. Fortunately, we have all kinds of awesome ideas to utilize for the next con we hit.
As of now, we're in the mind set that we'll most likely return next year. In the meantime, we're looking at other cons to hit too. I've already caught wind of two Virginia cons that I was unaware of previously that sound like excellent places to hit next year. Plenty of time for us to get our shit together and start putting together more stuff to offer besides prints and propaganda.
So in the end we're left with knowing awesome new people, not being nearly as broke as we figured, verification that we are in fact awesome and other people agree, and I've been told by a trustworthy party that we did a pretty damn good job of making other vendors take notice of us. Also: We got awesome fan art from our new friends. I shall post it later though.
Sure we didn't rake in the dough, but dammit, we watched cute girl dressed as a Stars Wars sith lord apprentice force an awesome General Grievous cosplayed to try on amusing, ridiculous hats. For like twenty minutes. While a whole group us filmed and snapped pics of it. You have not lived until a dozen people have egged General Grievous on to do the chicken dance. While wearing a chicken hat.

Back From the Near Dead
Posted 15 years agoSalutations everyone.
Hey, do you enjoy Voodoo Walrus? You don't? Well you're in luck! Cause the stint of Grymm posting next to nothing but Voodoo Walrus related material is over as of now. Now that I'm prepped for the convention I'm attending this weekend, I can now turn back to putting my all into commission work. In other words... expect a good chunk of smut to be sloshing its way down the pipes. I've got a to do list to clear out and peoples waitin' fer goodies.
Expect some good ol' traditional pieces poppin' up next, some sketch stuff, some ink stuff, there's even a huge, huge, huge commission that's been on the table for a while that'll be wrapping up soon. And I do mean huge as in paper size. Also, entirely more comic pages.
Though I'm sad to say that you shouldn't expect me to be running any commissions sales for a while. While commissions are currently open, they are set as standard prices for the time being. Also, I'm not looking to take on any new comic commission projects for a while lest be be simple one page type dealies.
As per usual commission info can be found at this journal http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/680257/ . But be aware, there is a bit of a wait ahead of ya.

Breaking the Silence
Posted 15 years agoBeen a while since I've said anything worthwhile. Forgive me. I'm still alive. I'm still active. I'm still working on commissions. Though slowly.
Its obvious to anyone watching my uploads that Voodoo Walrus has been prominent as of late. This probably enrages a number of you. Its obvious to me from the lack of comments and faves, that very, very few of you enjoy or even pay attention to Voodoo Walrus.
Oh well.
Sorry. I've never been one to pander to the majority. Especially not these past couple of weeks due to prepping things for a local convention that CreepKnight and I are attending as Voodoo Walrus Productions. So if you live in the greater Richmond, Virginia area, and you dig Sci-fi/fantasy/horror themes and you want to meet those behind the Voodoo Walrus, come on out to RavenCon on the weekend of April 9 through 11. We'll be in the dealer's room somewhere.
That said, obviously a little more work has been going into con prep than commissions. Everything on my to do list is being worked on though. Albeit slowly. But nothing's being ignored. Except my personal projects including the Surrealis Grimoire and ConQuest of the Aerolith-Mortis.
For now I suggest sitting back, relaxing, and checking out The Fantastic Mr. Fox or the Princess and the Frog. Finally got to see these two flicks this past weekend while I was coloring art and they're both lovely films.
Sure the Princess and the Frog may not be the greatest Disney flick, but its solid and its proof that Disney is back on track after so many cancerous years of Eisner as the helm.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is just pure wonderful though. The dialogue especially, I'm a sucker of well written and well delivered dialogue. Which is why I hate anime so very, very much.
Now I have go away from you all. I have comics to draw. Both commission wise and Voodoo Walrus wise.
"Embrace the Voodoo Walrus and in return it shall entertain you. For FREE! Isn't that nifty?"

Let's Give a Meme a Whirl...
Posted 15 years agoSeen this pop up a couple of times today. Thought I'd give it a shot. I'm always have curious about people's thoughts on such things:
What do you, as the audience, think that my art style says about me personally?
What type of feeling do you get from it, and what kind of feeling does that give you about me?

Recent Silence
Posted 15 years agoIf you've found my recent lack of noise making worrisome, have no fear. I'm still here and kickin' I'm just workin' Very slowly... but workin' all the same.
I shall take this moment to say to my current commissioners... "Start expecting progress scans or conceptuals to begin weaseling their ways to you." Some of the new commissions are proving a bit more challenging than I thought thus the wait.
For those of you waiting for my next journal cram packed with bizarre shit... Alas, these things occur naturally and randomly. All I can say is stay tuned to voodoowalrus.com for bi-weekly insanity.
As for everyone who desperately wants to talk to me, please remember a few key things. Just because my instant messengers are on, doesn't mean I'm at the computer. I'm probably at my drawing table across the room. Also, I'm not a big IM talker and generally tend to bore easily of meaningless small talk.
To my elite crew of Grymmling Operatives that are currently laying in wait to strike down Michael Bay with extreme overkill, you're still on standby troopers. Intel suggests he and George Lucas will be "doing lunch" soon. I figure might as well hit two birds with one really large strike force. Y'know?
-Grymm Grymmowski out. For now.

Commission Slot Sale CLOSED
Posted 15 years agoTHIS SALE CURRENTLY CLOSED. COMMISSIONS ARE STILL OPEN BUT PLEASE CONSULT THE FOLLOWING LINK FOR CURRENT PRICES: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/680257/
A few projects are winding down here in Grymm's House of Art, Art-ocity, and
General Belligerence, so I thought it might be time to open a few of special sale price commission slots.
So here go!
Currently there are ONE open DIGITAL commission slots available for $40 each! We're talkin' full color, two character digital commissions with no detailed background.
Basically stuff like:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3442780 (Safe for work)
and
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3360609/ (Not safe for work! Not safe! Danger! Danger! Busty lesbians within!)
I can do a wide range of content. Human, anthro, monsters, supernatural, fantasy... Sexy stuff, general audience stuff, torrents of spooge style overly smutty stuff, actiony stuff, blood stuff... basically you name it. As long as it doesn't involve sex with children or non-anthro animals, watersports, or pokemons sexing each other up (that actually gets filed under the whole no non-anthro sexing clause. I very much consider pokemons to be non-anthropomorphic), then I'll be willing to tackle it. In theory. Its always possible that someone might throw something at me completely from left field. So if you think what you want may no be kosher with me, just ask. Worst I can say is "No thanks, I'll pass."
Now I do ask that character designs be kept fairly simple. If you snag a slot and then tell me the characters you want need to be drape with rune-etched lengths of chains and have 14 sets of calico marking wings or other such complex things, I'll say "sure, but I'm gonna have to charge you more."
Once the piece is finished, you'll get the high resolution, full size file email right to ya for your very own!
So... if you're interested, go ahead and comment or private message me clay claim to a slot. Then expect a private note from me to begin talking details in private!
Old and new commissions welcome! I love returning commissioners and new people all the same!
Questions? Comments? Concerns? Feel free to contact me by note or at thebadgergrymm[at]gmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Grymm Ramblings
Posted 15 years agoEventually I shall fill all 80 pages of the Surrealis Grimoire. You'll know that this has come to pass by the screams of the forsaken and the hell-tentacle eruptions. Things will change. Upheavals will be had.
Holes in reality will slice open in reality. Hanging in the air like some many impossible tapestries. Benevolent lumps of fuzz with clusters of eyes shall warble out, briefcases in paws, shades on chests to cover optical super-clusters. The rustling of air will fill the air. Otherworldly sounds will slip through from other places before the the holes disappear. The lumps will be nonplussed by the situation.
They shall bid you a "Good Ebelmis.", stare befuddled at our sun for a moment too long, and then fly off. Legs first over the horizon. Fish will sing my praises. Dolphins shall explode in a shower of gore and bliss and viscera.
You will be made aware of masked... things that shall creep out of the woodwork and assure you that they've been there, watching over you, for your whole life, unblinking. Tendrils clenching and unfurling like clockwork. Slick sounds slipping out between the folds of their robes. They make small reassuring sounds at you. You get the feeling that human language is not their preferred method of conversation.
The mask things will claim that you no longer need them, tell you where you left that thing you lost, and then they'll fade through the door. You will be left feeling as though you lost something, but feel better for it. The same feeling you get when first hearing a song that you will love. The feeling that both blooms inside you and bores its way deep inside you from another place. The feeling that all is right. All is good.
Small woodland creatures will erect for me something not entirely unlike a throne. Made of impossible and terrible things. With a cup holder. To look upon will be to know nothing but discomfort. Non-Euclidean structure weaving in and out of pre-determined boundaries that you've taken for granted for so very long.
In the cup hold shall rest a blue, shining cup. In this cup I shall keep the eyes of the heathens who stood in my way and into it I shall pour cleaning fluid. And it will be in this cup that I wash my pens and brushes. And the world around me shall be painted over.
Crow and man shall work together for the greater good of finally discovering the perfect way to
crack nut shells without the loss of nut meat and without the loss of life for man or crow. The crows shall rejoice. Robots shall not rise up, rebel, and destroy their masters after all. They will know deep in their circuitry that man can be helpful. And used for nut cracking strategy. For the nut shall always be beyond the robot's control.
Nature will apologize for the horror that is the raw tomato. Things made from tomatoes will become naturally occurring. The raw tomato shall be phased out due to looking like something that's been half-aborted from a sea monster's poisonous womb.
The things that lurk in the black beyond the blue shall step forward and make their presence known for the first time. They shall be spectators no longer. They shall come baring pie and tea. The pie will be the OverMother of all pie. The Progenitor Pie. The source from which all pie came and all pie shall return. It is DELICIOUS.
The tea... well... Let's just say that you haven't tasted what tea is actually supposed to taste like. Not even the finest of teas is "real". No.They'll bring you real tea.The Immaculate Tea. You will experience the Teagasm and forever a part of you will weep with joy and tears. Tears of tea. Yes. Water shall be replaced with Immaculate Tea. For water knows it can never compete, never compare, as a fluid or a beverage. Water LIES to you. Constantly. It has forever been aware of its inferiority. Hoping all along that the Immaculate Tea will never be brought forth. It wants you to be ignorant of the fact that there's an alternative.
Then... at long last. There shall be a different sky. The horizon will be new again. Refreshed. Refired. Ripe with what was not before. New eyes with a fresh perspective upon a newborn stretch of existence. The fire within burning bright.
Holy Carp on a Jesus Cracker!
Posted 15 years agoYes. "Carp". As in the fish.
Anyway, went to bed last night. Work up to like 8 new watchers, 4 pages of new faves, and a smattering of comments. Guess you guys are diggin' m' stuff somethin' fierce! And that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Anyway, today's my birthday. So I'm disappearing here shorting to go hang out with my large, oft-times belligerent wordsmith, and my cute, spunky occasionally goth in style, female partner in running amok.
While I'm gone I'll lay down this crazy beat for ya...
Commissions are generally open right now. No sales on just yet, but sketch, ink, full color, comic stuff... it all possible currently.
My rates and details can be found at http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/680257/
Note that those prices ain't set in stone though. Things may be cheaper or more expensive depending on how little or how much detail you want injected into something. A character with 6 heads, 12 wings, Gentlemen Cocks for arms, and is popping solid gold rainbows is going to be slightly more expensive than a simply busty badger gal eating a bowl "Bacon and Grymmowciz: The Breakfast Beat Cereal!"
So if you're interested in getting a commission, just contact me via note here on the site, or email me at thebadgergrymm[at]gmail.com and we'll talk about it. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Now. I need to go brush my wild, sentient, long hair, lace up my boots and go out and start showing my goddamn birthday who's boss!
WATCH ME GO! MUHAHAHAHAHAAH!

An Important Question to All!

So I've realized something...
Posted 15 years agoI could very easily become far more popular here on FA if I truly wanted to. Its just the fact that I'd have to sicken myself in the process.
Cute things. I could draw cute things. Pokeymans and digimans and animal people that look more like anime and manga characters than actual human/animal hybrids. I could draw people transforming into these things and then fucking each other. Or just cute tiny pokemon type critters fucking each other. So on and so forth...
But then I'd also have to strap a bag under my own chin so that I could perpetually projectile vomit the entire time I was drawing such saccharine muck.
I don't do cute. I don't like cute in the traditional sense. You want to know what my take on cute is? Fingerbats playing and reveling in puddles of arterial blood. Cute to me is a happy pseudo-goth girl smiling a predatory smile while she's clad in a corset, fishnet, and a short plaid skirt and wearing huge clunky boots. Those are my ideas of cute art-wise and real-life wise.
Did you know that there have only been a couple of times I've turned down paying commissions? One was for something blatantly necrophiliac themed. The other... pokemons sexing each other up. That's right. I lump "cute underage looking things fucking and being fucked" into the same category as "have sex with dead rotting bodies".
So sure... I'm never going to know the creepy nacho stained finger love of the masses here that want pikachu cock. But by god, the watchers I do have, the ones that appreciate everything from the Gentlemen Cocks, to the busty badger babes, to the Surrealis Grimoire are awesome in the fact that they actually have good taste. And I know they have good taste... I mean after all... they're watching my gallery aren't they?
Exactly.
So. If you're laying in wait to see me one day experiment with anime/manga style, disney style, drawing cute things, drawing Simba fucking Bugs Bunny, or anything like that... Well... Move along. Cause ya ain't gettin' it here. Next up.... More femdom, latex, rubber, and creepy surreal stuff!
*Sits back and waits for angry comments from pokeyman fans.*

To the Dutch, I say "Kudos! Bravisimo!"
Posted 15 years agoThis a apparently a Dutch soup commercial. And my artist-o-pacitors find it to be god damn amazing.

Look at insane range of facial expression and movement. The sheer ugliness. The glorious parallels between the notes being sung to the way the mouth warps and distorts.
This is the kind of animation I fucking love. The stuff that's just completely from left field and revels in its own weirdness.
I don't care how many strands of independently moving hair you can put on a god fucking damn cute animal thing in a CGI movie about a talking something or other that learns a valuable lesson about life and saves the day. Give me ugly, dynamic, hand drawn animation that a small team loved enough to slave over and pour their visceral juices into.
And yes. It DOES resemble the style Ren and Stimpy occasionally fell into. Anyone with eyeballs who's been alive since the 90's can tell that. Its obvious. No need to point it out.

I Only Use IM to Have Insane Conversations
Posted 15 years agoBecause the kinds of conversations I enjoy having online have to be ridiculous and have as little anchorage in reality as possible. I give you this example:
[11:07] GrymmBadger: By they way... this is the latest Voodoo Walrus t-shirt design. I think you'll be able to appreciate its philosophy.... http://www.redbubble.com/people/voo.....ls-equal-bacon
[11:08] Evilocity: ...the fuck does that even mean?
[11:10] GrymmBadger: My god... You haven't heard.... they can now cultivate pig stem cells into muscle tissue. They can grow pure, meat in a laboratory. In a Lha-bore-ra- tor-ree. Its the future! Celebrate the future Adam! Praise the SCIENCEBACON
[11:12] Evilocity: this...this changes everything! i must start a church to praise the SCIENCEBACON in all its magnificence
[11:12] GrymmBadger: Though to be honest. science bacon probably actually tastes a lot like chorline and latex gloves.
[11:13] GrymmBadger: the future is never as awesome as science tries to convince us....
[11:15] Evilocity: so? the taste is an illusion. the true divinity of the SCIENCEBACON can only be experienced when one looks beyond the ethereal nature of flavor
[11:16] GrymmBadger: God damn it man! Flavor's the spice of life! Without flavor we might as well go around eating reprocessed soy curd whey meal mush corn... stuff!
[11:19] Evilocity: embrace the future Daniel! when man will no longer be shackled by the chains of tyranny known as taste! accept the SCIENCEBACON into your heart and know true peace
[11:21] GrymmBadger: I didin't bring you into this industry just for you to slough away your humanity for data and quantitative matrices! Yer losin' it man! You'
[11:21] GrymmBadger: ve lost sight of the big picture! Here, smell this pork roast! SMELL IT!
[11:24] Evilocity: no! i must resist! will...not...succumb...to succulent...is that an herb and garlic rub on that roast? and you made mashed potatoes with a delicious pork gravy? um, what were we talking about?
[11:25] GrymmBadger: Dinner, my friend. We were speaking of dinner. Here, have a nice thick slice meaty roasted goodness
[11:26] Evilocity: thanks man! you're a good friend. but know i'm really hungry asshole
[11:37] GrymmBadger: Yeah... yeah... that pretty much sums up being friends with me. I aid you with one hand, psychologically harm you with the other.
