I knew back in August I wouldn't be doing the usual Halloween thing this year. I just had no fire for the work required; I wasn't having any fun.

So, I'm going to end the tradition of my posting in October with kind of a shrug, cleaning up some of the stuff I had in the pipeline but not really finishing anything to any level of polish.

And, as I'm not trying to reach a bigger audience, I'm just going to dump everything into scraps and call it quits. It was a good run!

Well, there you have it! 31 days, 31 posts, some old stuff, some new stuff.

For my new watchers, I rarely post outside of October unless supporting one of my friends' projects, and I check FA very very infrequently during non-October months.

I'll check in periodically over the next two weeks or so, and then go into heavy hibernation. If you want to talk to me, now's the time!

After that, well let's see what happens in 2020!

I had really hoped I'd be coming at this year with something new and different.

But, nope, it's still the same stuff! Hell, it's so completely the same I could even repost a previous October-opening journal entry and not have to change a word.

Barely feel like posting? Check. Prevalence of a particular set of poses? Check. Don't lump me in with the woman-haters when you see my content? Double check!

So, let's just do this one more time. I'm posting a piece a day for all of October. Some stories, mostly art. Once we hit Oct 31st, I'm going to disappear for another year.

It's a cycle, like the flooding of the Nile. So, stick around, sift through the silt and the muck and I hope you find something to enjoy!

This question comes up, so I might as well answer it again.

I started posting stuff on the internet almost right out of college, when one of my earliest supporters offered me space for a website. I played around, did some games, did some art, had a good time, had some good response, but that was nothing like the outpouring of attention I got when I started posting on FA.

I really feel like I got the 'Facebook' experience years before Facebook was a thing -- performing to an audience, addicted to the attention and praise, spending as much time preening over comments as I did actually drawing. Like a lot of people, I came to a conclusion that I was spending all my time feeding this urge, and nothing else was getting done. So, I stopped posting.

Now, I kept drawing. But I went back to drawing for me, not to please an audience. And without that obligation hanging on me, I rediscovered my love for my hobby. I also saw the use in the community as a check on that kind of meanness that creeps in when a smut cartoonist starts to age. I just realized I had to keep the interaction limited.

So, that's why I only post for a limited time each year. Strict boundaries. That way, I can have fun without getting trapped.

That does mean it comes to an end, and here we are for another year :) I'll check comments for another week or so, and then the light will go off. Notes will go unread for months in my FA inbox, so if you've got stuff you wanna say, I'd do it now while I'm still checking on a daily basis.

Ok, I'm completely out of effort :) I worked far enough ahead to have enough art for the rest of the month, but I am just out of gas. So, I'll officially state no commissions anytime soon. One more pic to drag over the finish line, and then all I have to do is post for the rest of the flood.

That also means I skipped a story -- the one that would have tied in with the penguin tech getting swarmed by sex bot hands -- but I do have one last story I will post this year.

This is a good illustration of why I keep my posting confined to a set period of time. I need that structure to motivate me to do all of the work a flood requires. First, I crank hard knowing I'm going to burn out, and then I crank hard trying to get everything finished. If I didn't have a clear, finite goal, I probably would have just tapped today and going forward.

The small boobers wane. The big boobers rise! We'll go big this week, then slide back to the svelte side the week after that.

Just in case you've never noticed, I only +fav material that comes from trades or is fan art. A lot of talented people have done me the favor of playing with my characters, and if you've never taken a look through my +favs you are in for a treat!

Please, take the time to look around. You might see some stuff I drew posted on other accounts, and you'll definitely see some art and stories that make my characters look even better than I can render them! And if you see something you like, for crying out loud encourage these talented folks to play further :)

Yeah, it's flood season, so here's some smut.

Frankly, I'm pretty surprised I have anything to show. I just did *not* feel it this year. Anybody who knows me heard me say multiple times that this might be the first year I skipped my yearly tradition. That's because I had a fairly big roadblock between me and the state of mind I had to be in to go through all the work it takes to make this stuff. Two huge compromises were required to get in the state of mind to do any kind of dirty cartoons:

1. I'll just admit it. I'm one of those three-pose dabblers. You're gonna see a lot of stuff that I would not blame you if you said you'd seen before. Lots of spread-eagled gals. Lots of gals reacting to a big dick. Three-quarters to the camera, pussies and nipples. I had to allow myself permission to stagnate :) I can draw just well enough to make myself happy, and that's not really very conducive to getting better. So, I won't worry about getting better! Let's indulge in some comfort smut!

2. As much as it is on my mind, and as easy it would be to look at my stuff and assume I'm on the wrong side, I'm glad about the long-overdue convulsions we're going through politically and socially. And yet, I'm gonna post the tasteless things my libido dredges up. It is not my intention to cause anybody stress or remind them of traumatic experiences... I don't quite know why, but this imagery appeals to me. If it helps, I'm the beautiful, blissed-out girl and not the monster... And I promise, at least in the stories, I am trying to make it clear that both parties are enjoying themselves, even if the action gets intense.

So. Yeah. Just going to go along with tradition. This year, we're going to alternate on a weekly basis between small boobs and big boobs, ping-ponging (and beach-balling) back and forth a few times. Stories every Monday, and I'll try to post once a day until October 31.

Comments are welcome, the cleverer the better :)

If I decide on opening commissions, I'll post a journal. If I do, I'm gonna be very very picky on what I'll accept. I'd say there's a very low chance I open commissions, but we'll see how I feel as the month wears on.

I am mostly happy with the output this year, though there were a few times I had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for content. Heya! Back again to post daily for the duration of October, to revel in the spooky and the smutty.

I'm honestly a little surprised I got inspired enough to make the effort this year. Even just a few months ago, I just wasn't really feeling any excitement about 2017. But, I dunno, I didn't want to break with tradition, and once I started drawing again, it got more and more pleasurable until it was what I wanted to do.

So, what is this? Eight years in a row?

By now, I'm sure I've driven off anybody who might be offended with the NC nature of what I do, but just in case there are new viewers, please understand I don't actually hate women or desire to hurt anybody. I can't explain my kinks, but I put some of myself in every character I draw (the damsel AND the monster), and in some strange way they all actually want to be where they are no matter how distressed they look.

I hope everybody can have some fun! I'd be happy to answer any questions if you care to ask. Just post 'em right here and I'll try to get to them.

For any new folks, I love Halloween, and I like to do something special when the leaves start to change color and the air grows cool and crisp. So, I prep a bunch of stuff and post it all October, at least 1 pic or story a day.

Subject matter strays towards the monstrous, so expect to see hulking brutes and wide-eyed hotties.

I'll go into greater detail if anybody cares to ask about it, but the subject matter is non-consensual but the acts depicted are not exactly unwelcome by those involved. When I draw a character, I'm drawing a part of me, whether they play the role of 'aggressor' or 'victim', and the ultimate goal is titillation.

This isn't the case of me thinking something stupid like 'women like rape'. By the very nature of me drawing them, the females depicted are the kind of characters that could find pleasure in the hyper-masculine and frenzied lust of monsters. They may be surprised or overwhelmed or wondering how the fuck that thing's supposed to fit, but they are as much part of the fantasy as the monster is, and just as unrealistic.

If you want to discuss this kind of issue, please do it here and keep it out of the individual pictures. I'm not opposed to having the conversation, but let's have it in the right place.

Ok! I posted a story based on the story seeds I posted in July. The schedule is just way too full for me to do the other seed, though. If I was going to stuff another story in this already crowded literary season, I'd pick my Witcher fan-fic!

So, back in July a few folks expressed interest in writing about Seed #1 (HUFF/PUFF)

Did anybody do any writing on HUFF/PUFF? Can I see? Is anybody going to post a HUFF/PUFF story soon?

This year's going to be an odd one... A LOT more prose than usual, so I need to get an early start on the October flood to give all the writing room to breathe. Going to try to space out the stories, no more than two a week, so you guys don't end up overwhelmed with stuff to read. Art will usually support the stories in some way or another.

Starting off with some September barely legal teens, with more to come before September is over. Then, in October... costumes. Capes and masks.

I was hoping you'd all make it clear which idea was the most unappealing and then that one could wither in silence while the stronger ideas got my attention. I didn't get quite what I expected, but I was glad for your input.

So, here's what I'm going to do: I'll write #2 (Timed Workout) and #3 (Swiftlet Gets Trashed), and let interested parties write #1 (HUFF/PUFF).

Interested parties: Please give me a little time before you start writing and I will collect the other worldbuilding and character stuff I had put together for HUFF/PUFF and post it in another scrap. Then you can decide who does what and how much of the backstory stuff I brainstormed to use.
