Posted 15 years agoI got photoshop back on my computer so now i might actually take a break from TF2 and just staring at the computer going 'uhhhhh' and actually do a bit of art. The only issue would be getting back into it and finding lineart to use. So, if you got any suggestions, just let me know, okay?

Posted 15 years agoWell, as you can see i haven't really been on in QUITE a while, but there is a reason for this. Well, aside from the real reason of laziness. I just can't really color without photoshop and i seem to have misplaced my files when i got my new computer, so... yeah, no art ^^;
While I've been out:
My roommates got married and i was an usher.
I visited my friend from out of state for the fourth time.
Had her come visit me for the first time.
My sister got married and i stood up in the wedding party.
I went and saw Jimmy Buffett for the first time, which was pretty cool.
And i have been going to a kinky discussion group meeting for over a year now.

Posted 15 years agoMy birthday is on the 27th this month. 24, hurrah. The week before that, though, is my room mate's bachelor party, so we are going to be shooting targets with real guns, then shooting each other with paintball guns. Should be a blast :D

Posted 16 years agoWell, been an interesting past few days. I'm feeling much better. New Years Eve morning there was a fire in the apartment below me, i got to play fire fighter and pull the alarm and put it out (temporarily) with the fire extinguisher at 7AM. Their dish washer had started on fire, something plastic fell on the heating element while they weren't home. So, that was exciting. Then on New Years Eve night i saw my roomie's band Small Town Delinquents (S.T.D.) play at the bar which was fun. This past week i got done taking the meds that cost $115 for SEVEN pills and some eye drops. So, feeling better there.
My computer took a dive on me after i tried Avast! which gave me a whole bunch of false readings, even saying that my sound drivers were potentially malware! So, I got everything fixed now and all i have left to do is go to the phone store to pick up a new one, since the battery pack of my old one is bulged and snapped the clip that held it in place.
Oh.. and do art... yeah... gotta remember to do THAT. Been playing too much Team Fortress 2!

Halloween, anyone?
Posted 16 years agoSo, what's everyone dressing up for as Halloween? My roomies and I are doing a Batman theme, Kevin as the Joker, Britany as Harley Quinn, and myself as the Scarecrow, if i get off my ass and make the mask. Well, played through Arkham Asylum, getting ALL the trophies/achievements... took about 12 days, though not nonstop playing. Last thing done before getting 100% done? 3 batarangs on Rumble in the Jungle extreme. That and Shock and Awe extreme... if you fuck up in S&W, might as well just start over again... and again... and again... and again...
Anyways, borrowed that out to a guy I know, so he's letting me play through GTA IV, so that's pretty cool. So much to do x.x So, I'll try to do SOMETHING.... eventually... Hell, I took a trip Labor Day weekend and i STILL haven't uploaded the pics onto my facebook... or even my computer x.x god, get off your ass!

Posted 16 years agoSYDNEY (Reuters) - The mystery of crop circles in poppy fields in Australia's southern island state of Tasmania has been solved -- stoned wallabies are eating the poppy heads and hopping around in circles.
"We have a problem with wallabies entering poppy fields, getting as high as a kite and going around in circles," the state's top lawmaker Lara Giddings told local media on Thursday.
"Then they crash. We see crop circles in the poppy industry from wallabies that are high," she said.
Many people believe crop circles that mysteriously appear in fields around the world are created by aliens.
Poppy producer Tasmanian Alkaloids said livestock which ate the poppies were known to "act weird" -- including deer and sheep in the state's highlands.

Posted 16 years agoAlright, since i don't really make journals all that often, i thought i would combine a few things. First, yes, I am slowly working on things and I'm sorry it's been taking me so long, i have another room mate so now i'm doing stuff away from the computer!
Now... Furries in Maxim:

Instruction Booklets
Posted 16 years agoNow... I haven't really done any art in a while.. but i have a relatively decent excuse. I've been plugging away at Twilight Princess, since my mom let me borrow her Wii.
But another good reason is... I've found a shoebox FULL of old NES, SNES, original Gameboy, and a few N64 Instruction Booklets.
Now, back in the day, these were pretty important. I mean... they would give you a bit of story... how to do stuff... some pretty sweet art... But, there isn't a whole lot of that going on in a lot of instruction booklets now. I mean, the last booklet that i recall that had some hand drawn art in it was MGS4. But I suppose with the graphics they way there are now, you don't need the booklet art to show you exactly what things are.
I mean, I've been reading the instruction booklets for Mario/Duckhunt, Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong Country, Metroid, Duck Tales, Super Castlevania IV, Zelda 1 and 2...

Posted 16 years agoWell, yesterday was pretty fun. My Ex-room mate had her baby, a nice baby girl named Daliah. My friends finished their professionally recorded demo, and we had a party over here with some really nice tenderloin. Things were going good, having a few drinks, though one of my friends had been drinking since the recording at around noon. Well, long story short, he fell asleep on the couch and then decided to get up and wander into someone else's apartment. So, police were called and luckily he was alright. He didn't get shot or break anything, he wasn't arrested either since my neighbor was pretty cool and didn't press charges, though he will still have record of getting a warning for trespassing.
He blew a .21.. even after being asleep for 2 hours... but yeah, very sobering experience for him and all of us. He really won't be doing too much drinking anymore.

I'm Back
Posted 17 years agoGood god... after i don't even friggen KNOW how long, i'm finally back on my own computer! it was wireless for a while, but the network card died and i was fucked for a while. I was still able to check on pics and stuff through my roommate's computer, plus do a little chatting... but not DO anything, really. But now i can!
My friend tried to let me borrow a wireless... thingie... but that didn't work... and since the wireless card didn't have a hardline hookup, i couldn't just plug it back in (i don't were i put the original network card ^^; ) But my roommate bought me a new network card for christmas and since the wireless thingie didn't work, i finally said FUCK YOU! and plugged in my trusty red cord. So, now i got a cord running from the living room, down the hall, and into the far side of my room to hook me up to the interwebs.
but fucking a, i'm glad i can do pictures again...

Posted 17 years agoWell well well. sorry for the lack of updating.. though i'm sure most of you just nuke your journals anyways. But, in news of me, my wireless card decided to take a poop, so i've been getting on little by little on my room mate's computer, meaning no real art for now, sorry.
But, in my boredom today, i was over at Gametrailers.com and was watching the Top Ten Countdown of TGS 08. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/40996.html And oh... my... what beheld my eyes? Kefka! My all time favorite villain of all video games! Oooh he's HOPPING MAD! such a shame that i don't have a PSP and the only person i know who does is my ex-room mate.... irony, i know your face. But, oh i am excited for just the simple fact of the game, even if it turns out badly. Skip to 3:00 if you want to see the quick snip of the game.

Anyways, i was wondering if anyone knew any good tutorials for coloring things that are Translucent in photoshop. Most of the tutorials i have are for rain drops x.x Or one about goo would be good too...
Anyone know how to use painter? i fumble through it sometimes, but i don't have a tablet, so it's a bit pointless i suppose.. >.>

(450,000 arcade points, Impacts, Just Impacts, Soul Crushes, Critical Finishes, all Accessories, all equipment and weapons)... oh! the other day when i was level 16 online, i fought the second top ranked player at level 136... i hit him.. twice.. >.> I'm not good against Raphael...
