Ohio steps up to the plate to... Do something right? O.o
Posted 12 years agohttp://bearingarms.com/dozens-of-oh.....tect-students/
And then that happened. For a state that's always been border line with the gun control debate, it's actually sort of shocking to see that Ohio is starting to allow carry inside of schools in the common sense effort to help prevent school shootings. *claps* good job Ohio, some faith has been restored in you!
Now this also raises the question.. With more and more places across the USA starting to allow carry in schools, as well as flat out arm resource officers, when is the rest of the country going to follow? It's common sense that good guys being there before something bad happens can prevent something bad from happening! Though the Libtards seem to think Police prevent shootings, when police -respond- to calls.

And so a firearms legend.... has died. M. Kalashnikov
Posted 12 years agohttp://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/.....ead-at-94?lite
Born on November the 10th in the year 1919, injured at the Battle of Bryansk in October 1941 during World War II, and devised the idea for a self-loading firearm that would eventually become the most infamous, most iconic, and considered by many to be the greatest man made weapon to ever be devised, the "AK-47", a name known on every inch of the world. While Kalashnikov may have passed at the age of 94, his creation will forever live on as the Russian gun of choice, and the weapon of choice for millions of people around the globe.
Our hats are off to you sir. Although it was a Soviet weapon, many people are "free" in part because of the weapon you created. *salutes* Rest in Peace.
I may be American, he may have died in the new Russia, however I feel for some reason this song is fitting as tribute to his memory.

"The NFA"
Posted 12 years agoHey folks, something to debate about here!
We all know what the lovely "National Firearms Act" is, how it effects sound suppressors, Short barrel rifles & shotguns, machine guns, Destructive Devices, and AOW's, and what we'd like to know is what are your opinions on it? Do we need the NFA or do we need to drop it like a bad habit? Discuss!

"Guns & Ammo" supports.... Gun control????
Posted 12 years agoI don't know what to think about this honestly speaking. "Guns & Ammo" has been a favorite of many firearms enthusiasts, and to think that in a recent article one of the writers literally flat out turned on us is just baffling.
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/20.....s-gun-control/
The local gun-rights group I'm part of posted this article today and it shocked me. Literally everything this guy is saying is the same stuff the anti's love to say to us when trying to push for tighter gun control. Really guy? You're writing for a GUN magazine, your readers are GUN lovers, and you're posting ANTI-gun related shit? Guns & Ammo better brace themselves because stuff like this gets around faster then a .50 BMG, and I am certain they're gonna lose readers over it.

Vandal the Cat How to get yourself killed by a CCW holder and/or Cop
Posted 12 years agoHey everyone
Vandal here! Now, I'm one for a great prank, a couple laughs, hell I'm a bit of a comedian for those that don't know. However this video I came across after it was re-posted by Mr. Colion Noir.... The sheer stupidity involved in this video is almost mind blowing! So much so that any gun enthusiast that watches it has to sit there and wonder how this kid didn't get his head blown off by a CCW holder, or a Police Officer! I've read some people said this is Miami Florida, however others say it's California. So I'm not certain where it was done.
Michael Myers Gunman Prank:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63rIE7ajWIA
*smh* This idiot did this with an airsoft gun, and could have easily got himself killed. Then you know, that would've been the highlight on the news "Another kid with an airsoft killed by police/CCW holder! This is why we need to ban guns!"..... I used to be into airsoft when I lived in the Soviet Nation of New York, however as time goes on the more I am starting to see it as a liability to us gun owners.
An example of how gun control effects jobs
Posted 12 years agoSo one thing many of us have tried to educate the libtarded is how their push for tougher gun control can have a severe impact on jobs. You know, the things they swear they're only out to create. When you push for tough gun control measures businesses in your state that are firearms based business will eventually get ticked off and they will up and leave the state! When that happens, what do you think happens to all those employees? 9 times out of 10 they can't afford to follow the company so they're left unemployed thanks to idiots who pushed their jobs out to make the delusional feel comfortable.
Great example, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.... All three have done a swell job of chasing out firearms based businesses, and that has only caused negative effects on the people. You lose jobs, you lose revenue, and you lose the support of your residents. The North East is seeing this quite constantly and all the businesses seem to be flocking to the same place, that being Pennsylvania. Why? Because PA's location grants it good access to major business locations in the North East... And frankly because it's one of the last states in the North that you can legally own a GE M134 Mini-gun in if you so chose. (And have the money XD) Hell I smile every time I walk into good ol' Locks Philadelphia Gun Exchange and see that lovely Browning 1919 sitting on the shelf :) You don't get that experience in NY, NJ, or MD.

Massachusetts Stupidity
Posted 12 years agoFirst and foremost if you are a Mass. resident I strongly urge you to boycott North Shore Firearms in Middleton, MA. Why? Because they actually caused what you're about to read by calling the police on a customer who simply asked a question that was in no way shape or form illegal to ask. I myself have worked firearms retail before, and I know that you get a ton of questions from just new, and upcoming gun owners that sound a little over the top. Like "Can I convert this to full auto?" or "How can I make a silencer?" which are both illegal in every state to do without proper licensing, but none the less perfectly good questions for a new firearms owner to ask so they can learn it's illegal to do!
http://www.policestateusa.com/2013/.....gun-magazines/
The stupidity of gun control in nanny-states like Mass. is just outright ridiculous. You can purchase and keep a pre-ban (pre-1994) Standard or High Capacity magazine, but you can't own a post-1994 magazine, which can potentially land you 10 years in prison.... 10 years, for possessing a magazine that holds 10 or 20 more bullets then the states watered down 10 round magazine. Meanwhile you know, rapist, drug dealers, robbers, you know REAL criminals are often cut plea bargains, and released early to make room in the prison system for otherwise law abiding Americans who are out to be model citizens and want no harm on others just because they own..... A standard magazine. *smh*

Anti-gun studies vs. Pro-gun studies
Posted 12 years agoSo recently people been talking about all these supposed "studies" if it's on the pro or anti gun sides. Look people, we're all pro-gun here, so at the end of the day when an anti-gun fuck tries to refer you to their studies that came from smaller colleges, or smaller state sponsored things that are generally very biased, joyfully remind them that the President THEY voted for gave us gun owners the CDC Commission which proved all the anti-gun studies findings wrong. But wait! There's more! Also happily show them the Harvard study that ended up concluding that gun control does not work! And lastly, if they're still arguing show them the FBI statistics. If they're still arguing with you after that then maybe you have a Libtard on your hands, and arguing with them is like arguing with a wall.
So there you have it, two studies that were conducted in the most thorough and professional ways, one of which commissioned by Obama himself, who mind you is 110% anti-gun, and the other performed by none other then Harvard. And then there is the FBI statistics, but you know anti-gun groups don't like the truth.

CDC Study: Guns do save lives
Posted 12 years agohttp://lewrockwell.com/slavo/slavo161.html
In case you haven't read it yet, this is the type of thing that is sure to piss a hard core anti-gun person off in a heart beat. Commissioned by the President in hopes of being able to aid anti-gun support ended up back firing and turning in our favor! :) Thanks Mr. President, you actually did something worth clapping for!
These last few sentences taken right from the article pretty much sum it all up in case you can't view it for whatever reason:
"The new White House report coupled with evidence from Australia, Britain and Canada shows that reduction of personal gun ownership is a road to more violence, injury and death.
The President commissioned this study in the hopes of finding a reason to take more guns from law abiding Americans.
What it found, however, is that the answer to gun violence in America is… arming more Americans."

Royally screw it's people even more. Under these new laws even a Ruger 10/22 is 100% illegal to own. If you're a California resident, now might be a nice time to consider packing up and moving out of state if you value your gun rights. I hate to say it, but California, NJ, NY, and CT are lost causes at this point.

Posted 12 years agohttp://www.washingtontimes.com/news.....-gun-ban-bill/
Well Miss Feinstein, it looks as if even your Democratic friends think you're crazy! The proposed assault weapons ban has been dropped from the senate! As this is great news for those of us in gun-friendly states, make no mistake this fight is not over yet!
While those of us in gun-friendly states can breath some sort of relief, and hope that all these scare prices begin to drop back to normal, there are some in states such as New York, who need our continued support. So right now things are looking like a state by state fight, as appose to a federal level fight. While the law of the land remains the same, states are still able to impose their own bills that can restrict freedoms of liberty loving Americans across the country. Even if you're in a gun-friendly state, don't let up at all on the gun support, and continue to press the issue! Using my state as an example, Pennsylvania, we are constantly pressing the issue to the state level government, as well as local law enforcement agencies, who most are on our side.
Don't let up. Don't think it's all over. We may have beat the federal level bill, however there are some politics and what not in our state level governments that are trying to take our freedoms away!

What are you doing for your rights?
Posted 13 years agoIt's Vandal the Cat here, bringing up the question of what are you doing for your state/community to protect your firearms rights?
As we all can see throughout the United States (aside from whats going on with Congress), we are starting to see individual state senators bringing up new bills that would apply to their own states restricting people more and more, stripping them of their firearms rights. This is obviously quite an outrage, as we all know restrictions only benefit criminals! However on the flip side, there are senators in some states introducing bills that would nullify any future federal restrictions. (Example: PA HB .357 nullifying all federal firearm legislation within the state of PA) It's senators like the ones who introduce good bills such as PA HB.357 as an example, that we need to support, while voicing our opposition to bills like NJ A3645 through SR92, which strongly oppress the population of that state. (Then again, when has New Jersey ever cared about it's people? LOL!)
Things you can do: (feel free to add in the comments below!)
- write/email your senators
- call your senators daily if need be saying NO to restrictions and YES to freedom
- join up with local groups that have a voice heard by senators in your state
- attend rallies at your state capital which are against any new restrictions
- attend meetings by gun-advocate groups such as the NRA, NAGR, or any local groups to your state
- shop local if possible. It doesn't seem like much, but supporting your local firearms businesses helps make senators realize that restrictions are only going to hurt jobs and town revenue.
- attend peaceful OC walks (Example: Montgomery County PA "Day of Resistance Walk" this month which law abiding citizens from all over PA carry their firearms openly in a peaceful walk in Norristown to show their support for the 2nd Amendment.)
- voice your concerns to your counties Sheriffs Department! Many Sheriffs departments across the nation have wrote letters to the President himself stating they will not enforce ANY new restrictions within their counties) Remind them of their oath!
There is a lot you can do in your state/city/community to help show peaceful opposition to further restrictions! Because in the end the only people hurt are us Law Abiding citizens! Carry on fellow furs!
Lastly: I am new to creating groups on skype, hopefully it worked, but check out Gunnerfurs on skype if you have it! IM chat for us all to yak on about something we all love!

Things from firearms world - new helper
Posted 13 years agoSo there's lots of things going on in the firearms world today, and aside from both companies and American citizens fighting for our 2nd Amendment in hopes no insane measures will pass, we're seeing things like the first look at the much anticipated civilian versions of the IMI Tavor 21 coming to the United States in both 5.56x45mm and pistol calibers, as well as new looks at pistol carbine kits for your standard .45 and .9mm handguns, and all sorts of new things for your AR-15's and AKM rifles! FN Herstal is supposed to step up it's game and aim for the LEO market more, in hopes to attract new contracts and clients in the United States, while Remington sits back and decides is it really worth staying in New York now that the state has passed some of the most brutal gun control measures in the United States? Supposedly South Carolina has been giving Remington great offers if they were to move to SC. TELL US! What are you interested in seeing this year?
Many manufactures are reporting that they are 3-4 months at the minimum on back order for most, if not all, of their firearms. In fact most of them at Shot Show have stated that if you order a gun today you aren't going to see it for at least a year! Crazy right?
And remember! If you live in a county that has not voiced it's opposition to anti-gun legislation, contact your representatives and local Sheriffs departments today and ask them to stand by their oath, and support our rights! Big props to Utah and New Mexico for being two entire states to oppose such new measures!
Oh, and I guess I should really introduce myself in a sorts, I'm Vandal the Cat
noose357 the new helper around here! I've got a passion for firearms, having worked in both firearms retail as well as armed K9 security, and have taught the AR-15 and MP5 for a company in Pike County Pennsylvania. Today I'm independent serving private clients in the Philadelphia PA region, primarily on the AR-15.
