To make a long story short, went to trading school to get me a job in the welding industry but that fell through. Now I have no job, no money and all I got to show for it is student loan debt that occurs interest every day ((not a lot of it but still a decent amount that adds up over time)).

I know I'm a small artist that barely gets commissions as is but I'd appreciate it if you guys can help me cuz honestly I don't know when the fuck I'm going to get a job at this point.

A genuinely do not intend on posting on Sundays lmfao. I meant to post the free a picture on Friday or Saturday but shit happened and I wasn't able to. From now on I'm going to try to avoid posting on Sundays. It's kind of a dead day.

I'm also feeling bad because I don't post as often as I used to. I've been doing more self-care stuff. Drawing stuff that I want to draw instead of drawing stuff that's going to get me famous, and doing private sfw stuff. I've switch to the "it's done when it's done" approach when it comes to my art and why I do feel like I've improved a bit it comes at the cost of my output being significantly slower.

Is one of those problems that doesn't really have a solution. I can go faster but I'm going to burn myself out. I can go slow and not burn myself out but my output slows to a crawl despite my gains. One day I hope to find a middle ground but until then I can't really make any promises that my output is going to get any faster.

I've been thinking about this for a while now, hell I even made a few accounts outside of here before deleting them but I think I need to diversify. Mostly just in case something bad happens here and I need to jump ship. Can't stay on FA forever.

It's been a while huh? I've been taking it easy for the past few weeks. I've been working on my anatomy and if I'm going to be honest I feel like it leaves a lot to be desired. Like yeah, I'm getting better and learning new stuff but I still feel like I can do a lot better than what I can do now. I want to put out the best quality artwork I can and I feel like I'm not giving you guys my all. Also life is kind of getting in the way. I'm applying to go to trade school, so I can go get a job and all that stuff. Naturally, I'm going to have a lot less time too draw and stuff. Long story short, I'm going to try to make time for art but don't expect me to post as often as I did before. ((Though let's be real, I was always inconsistent posting art lol.)) Maybe I should do smaller projects like comics? I don't know.

Long story short I've been really unhappy with my art output as of late. Been feeling my art was shit for the longest time. After getting some well needed criticism, I'm going to take some time off and really improve my anatomy and start practicing with other stuff. I'm not going to come back until I feel like I have improved. I could come back sometime next week or sometime next year. Okay, probably not going to be that long but y'all catch my drift.

I looked at my art from 2021- early 2023 and gagged. Oh my God, I used to draw like that? The proportions is soooooo fucking scuffed. The shading and lighting looks awful. Everything looks just awful. Amateurish. Dog shit.

I made up my mind. I'm going to be redoing some of my older art. Cuz I can't in good faith let this shit stand. Yeah yeah yeah, I know I know I know, I didn't understand clip studio paint and I just started taking art seriously as a hobby so of course I wasn't going to be an instant expert at it but man. It's hard looking at where I come vs how I am now.

Oh I'm not going to delete the old pictures. I'm still going to leave them up. People still like them on occasion and I'd rather have people see how far I've come then just to delete them off the face of the internet.

Long story short, the laptop I've been using for years is showing its age. It's been getting slower and slower. It takes forever to start up now and pages that took a few seconds to load now take like a good 50 seconds. All the quick fixes I can think of didn't work. It's probably a hardware issue and given the age of the computer it's probably better for me to just buy a new one then to fix it. Sucks, it was my first laptop. Honestly it was kind of a piece of shit. It has like 4 GB of RAM and it was fighting for its life when I was drawing and had YouTube on in the background... Which was pretty often lol. But it was MY piece of shit laptop.

Yeah I know I'm almost 4 days late to this lol. I was able to get over a hundred watchers last year ((something I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to achieve)) so let's get 150 watchers by this year's end!

Hiiiiii. I'm going to be making some changes to the coming weeks. I realize that it takes a long ass time for me to make one picture. That's because of a lot of things life, burn out, learning new drawing techniques, etc. So in order to produce more art in a timely manner, I'm going to start posting more sketches, line art and flat color drawings. That way I can post more often and more frequently. I don't like how you guys have to wait like 1 or 2 weeks just for me to post one picture.

So I'm going to cut to the chase with this one. I'm moving out pretty soon, trying to find a new job and lower back pain from sitting with bad posture is finally getting to me. That combined with me struggling with myself worth as an artist and general burnout got me all types of fucked up. I won't have time to put out as much drawings I want too, but post something to my small audience. Y'all deserve something.

Just going to cut to the chase with this one. My family have to move on very short notice. So in the next few weeks I'm going to packing up and moving stuff for the new house. I'll try to finish up some fan art and post some WIPs I have in store but don't expect a lot coming for me from this month.
