✨April Avarice: Final Pupdate (+ Raffle Update!) ✨

I thought it was about time I gave an update on the delayed wrap-up to my month of indulgence! The final story of the month has turned into a proper rump- uhh, romp, and is now sitting at my longest yet at 21 pages and 8.6k words. Maybe it’s the rare nice weather at the moment, but I wanted to spend more time on The Island. The food there is to die for =w=
I’m also dumb and sent the final version to the person it was written for when FWA was just kicking off. So y’all may have to wait until after the weekend is up, but … I feel like it’s a good one >:3)
-Writing is fun :3)
-I need to stop setting myself deadlines based on scaring myself into last-minute action and actually plan around them for a result that doesn’t leave me burnt out from something that’s supposed to be fun
-My stuff is good and I should probably give myself more time to sit with it / sit on it. Pressure makes diamonds and this hefty wolf rump has enough pressure to form some proper gems without the added negative self-talk attached to my dysfunctional way of doing things ^w^’
The winner of my first YCH Story Raffle hasn’t answered my notes to claim their spot (if you’re reading this, it’s so chill— you’ll have plenty more chances to get fattened by a wolf!) so I re-spun the wheel, and the new winner is …
All in all, I’m happy I poked myself into doing something with a themed month, and I’ll probably do it again next year; going into it a little more prepared for the next go round, for sure.

April Avarice: The Final ✨Stretch✨

I hope you’ve all had a lovely April— as usual for me it feels like it flew by, but at least I have a couple of nice things to mark this one with.
I’ve pretty much hit my goal of posting a story every week which is fun— plus a bonus one for good measure for the inaugural Fat Fur Gala on Bluesky that was really fun to write!

Speaking of the butterfly app, I just hit 500 pounds over there, as well as 200 watches on here, and my personal favourite figure; 10 stories posted! :D I’d intended for the last story of the month to be my tenth, but in the spirit of April Avarice, my cup runneth over :3)))

The final story might be a couple days late but I’m trying to be chill about that lmao. Anyway, the 27th wasn’t itself a special date of indulgence or dramatic irony. The observation we’re celebrating this final week of the month of Avarice is;
Observed every year in April since 1992, Stress Awareness Month seeks to highlight the causes and effects of stress on individuals and society as a whole. This final story of the month is very much a tale of the ultimate unwinding, and I can’t wait to have you to the island to sample the fattening delights (and rebooked return flights…) of;

I’m in the process of doing final final edits on April Avarice Story 3 (wouldn’t be like me to cut it close ^^’) so I think I’ll edit this journal with the link when it’s posted, but I didn’t want to make yiz wait any longer 👀

There’s only one more week left of April Avarice, and it’s been super fun! I’ve even spotted some art in the wild that was inspired by “TWTMYF” which was super surreal! I’m still starting out on here but it’s really cool to feel like I can make a bit of an impact, and like I have room to grow within and give back to the community that’s given me a tonne over the years <3

General | Posted 8 months agoSo yeah, I’m gonna have to admit defeat for this week ;w; I was sick all weekend so I’m going to have to push out the last two stories by a week, and so the sched now looks like;
Apologies for the delay but hey, I gave yiz a title reveal for #3! ;3) The extra time will also be nice because the next one is a little different and I want to give it the time and care it deserves. <3
I’m almost at 200 watches here which is pretty cool so I was thinking of doing a YCH Story Raffle!! This is my first time doing one of these but if you’d like to see your character as a jock-type who’s kidnapped and rapidly fattened & housebroken by a deranged feeder wolf, throw me a comment below (or note me!) and I’ll add you to the draw, winner announced on 4/20 :3)
Oh, and one more thing! I said in my last journal that each date I had set for posting a fic this month had a special horny relevance. This one’s a little less obvious than Weed & Chocolate Day, because who’s April 14th when she’s at home?

I just wanted to say a little thank you to everyone who’s watched me recently! I was thanking everyone individually but it’s gotten a little overwhelming for me so I’d just like to say here— THANK YOU! ;w; I really appreciate it, and seeing some artists and writers and people I generally think are cool giving me a watch is really strange and neat. Folks engaging with my stuff at all is very surreal to me, and I only hope to continue delivering hot and aspirational little fics for you to glut yourselves on <33
That being said, I thought I’d introduce the little thing I’m doing that I’ve decided to call
A month of indulgence full of some delicious dates; the day of Fools, the chocolate glut, the toast to toastedness. Also, World Health Day? 😇
April was practically conceived as an ode to the spirit of gluttony and avarice, and I’m doing my part to glut my puppies with new fics dropping every week for this month, with perhaps a wee story raffle at the end~
(It’s basically my wanky way of trying to keep myself accountable and finish some things I’ve had in the works for a little bit too long ^^’)
I hope you enjoy!! I encourage any writers out there to post their own most self-indulgent works this month— we’re all hungry.
