...my laptop lost.

Whist i was studying at perkins a few nights ago.. one of the waiters spilled a WHOLE pot of fucking coffee on my poor lappy. Needless to say i was ecstatic to add this event to the pile of shit weighing me down.. >.>

Thank god my warrenty through best buy was still valid.. so its off to kentucky with my laptop in hopes to diagnose the damages. If its only a few hardware issues, ie: keyboard, speakers, etc, then it'll be repaired and sent back within 2-3 weeks..
But.
If anthing was damaged on my motherboard, my lappy will be deemed totalled, and i will be reimbursed the value of my broken laptop and able to use that towards a new rig.

SO WHAT I'M TRYING TO GET AT IS THIS:
I'm forced to put my art on hold, as i only have a tablet at the moment.
I'll be harder to reach as FA is not as convenient to access.

Just wanted to let those of you who care know that i'm not dissapearing on you! I'll just be temporarily closed for commissions, and harder to reach.
I hope to hear back from the geek squad soon.. its getting increasingly more difficult to complete the assignments for my upcoming finals without easy internet or Word access.

Long story short: fuck my life.

Well, I obviously haven't been sleeping much.. and I don't sleep well when I do.

My life is shifting. Changing. I can sense it.
For once, I think I like where things are going.. Feels right.
At least for now, I'm not in the thick of it yet.

I have no motivation to attend classes anymore.
This summer will be a nice reprieve from the shit I'm feeling now.

I have one more year of college left.. Next spring, I'll be graduating.
THEN what the fuck am I going to do?

I've discovered some new bands.. well, older bands being discovered again.
Music is actually starting to sing to me again. I thought I'd lost it.. Glad to have meaning back into the shit I surround myself with.

I've been working. A lot.
I'm starting to like my job too much.. I'd rather just work all the time then sit around, procrastinating my homework. Not that I's need an excuse to procrastinate it in the first place.. I don't need one anymore. I just don't do it.

I feel like I'm walking on glass lately. Too many different versions of myself to keep track of. If I slip up now, everything will shatter. If I can pull this off.. I'll shatter it myself and watch all the pieces fall right where I want them to. Have to stay focused.

Drew up my fifth tattoo tonight/today. It's about time for me to get another..

Hello friends!!

So, here's the deal...

As of now.. I've been using GIMP 2.6 to create my arts, as recommended by thunderblitz. So far, it's been awesome. And I've been able to learn quickly, as I've had someone right there by my side to help me.

But as I watch more and more people via stream, I've been noticing some different programs.
The one I've been seeing most is SAI Paint Tool.

So.. I thought I'd download it and check it out.

...Turns out I have NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT I'M DOING.
Go figure.

Also, when I got my new tablet.. there was a program that came with it: Autodesk Sketchbook Is this a program that I could use for artsy purposes??

SO! If anyone could please please PLEASE give me some pointers, insight...ANYTHING.. I would super appreciate it.
