It's funny the way some folks are biased towards some franchises and characters and against others.

Earlier today I saw an image drawn by an artist I'm watching of Renamon. In the description said artist called Renamon "overdrawn". At first I though this person might have a point, she has been drawn by quite few people.

But you know what's ironic?

This particular artist has literally dozens and dozens of images of Sonic the Hedgehog and characters from the series.

And nothing against the artist (you should draw what you like) and nothing against Sonic (I'm a big fan from way back myself) but if there's any character (especially in this fandom) that gets drawn a whoooooooooooooole lot, it's Sonic.

Seems kind of hypocritical doesn't it? Plus if you think a character is so overdrawn then why draw her yourself? :-/

Well I just uploaded a bunch of colored versions of some old drawings I've been meaning to put here for some time now. I actually did these a while ago so the quality isn't quite where some of my newer stuff is but I felt like it was worth showing to you guys. I'll have some new updates pretty soon. Enjoy!

Well it's been one whole year today since I started back drawing again and I'm pretty happy about it. I feel like since I kept it up this long now drawing has become a permanent part of my life.

I have all of you to thank as well because you guys have inspired and supported me so much I can't even put into words how grateful I am. Your patience and kind words are deeply appreciated. Thank you.

There's been some ups and downs but through it all I believe I've become a better person for every experiences I've had. My goals actually seem possible now and the future is looking bright.

I really want to make a name for myself around here and kind of carve out a place for myself among the community and I feel like I'm improving a little bit everyday. I hope to continue to improve and work hard so I have even better stuff to share this upcoming year. I also promise to be more productive so that I have more to show as well.

I have some pretty cool stuff planned and I can't wait for everyone to see it. So stay tuned, I'm just getting started!

Just out of curiosity, what would you guys think about me opening up commissions?

I've never done it before, I wouldn't even know what to charge or anything. I might experiment with this once I clear some things off my to-do list.

I'm just curious that's all and I'd appreciate you guys opinion. :)

Seems like stuff just keeps happening to keep me from drawing these past couple pf weeks. School, work, now a mother-freaking hurricane. God always helps my family find a way though and I'm thankful for that. We didn't go through nearly as much crap as a lot of people down here are still going through. Plus things have calmed down now, hopefully everything will be back running smoothly in a week or so. Still I want to apoligize to everyone who watches me for not being as productive as I'd like to be. Please try to bear with me, I promised I'll try to do better.

Well I feel like I've made everyone wait long enough so starting today I'm gonna be updating regularly again. Thanks for being patient everyone, I hope you enjoy the stuff I've been working on. ^_^

Hello everyone, like the rest of you I've noticed that FA is indeed back online but to be honest I'm not as psyched about it as I thought I'd be.

I don't know, maybe I'm still being a little reserved about the site because part of me feels like there's a chance something could happen to the site again soon. Or maybe it's because since this site has been down I've been devoting more time to Deviant Art (with good results).

Either way I just don't feel up to updating my gallery just yet. It seems like everyone else is dumping everything they've been doing all at once into their galleries but I don't intend to do the same.

Instead I plan on updating little by little just to be safe until this gallery has caught up with my other one. But before I even get started updating I have some pieces I wanted to finish and put on Deviant Art first.

I hope everyone understands and doesn't think I'm playing favorites. It's just I found myself having to adjust the way I do things since the site was down and it's gonna take a little while to readjust to tending to two galleries instead of focusing all my attention on just one.

Ever since my drawing of Clawdia I've been wanting to do more art of characters from old and obscure tv shows and movies. I've got a few already lined up but if anybody has any characters they'd like to see feel free leave the name of the character and any reference material you might have of them.

Hi peoples! I need your input on something very important. I;m considering changing my screen name from H2O589 to something like Batty or Batty Bat, etc. I just think my current screen name may be a little difficult for some people to remember and that using Batty's name would be catchier.

Of course I might have trouble using that name if some one's using it or a variation of it. I don't want to lose any friends either now that I'm finally starting to get a few so I really want to think long and hard about this before I make a decision. Either way and some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Hey peoples, I need a new scanner and I wanted to get some opinions on the subject before I spend the cash I've been saving up. What are some of the better brands for scanners? What should I look for in a scanner? What do you use personally? What's a good price for a scanner? Any info you can give will be greatly appreciated. ^^
