Thank you for 700 Watchers! (And Important Update)
Posted 2 years agoLook at that, I appear to have surpassed 700 Watchers! I would like to thank everyone for showing interest in my art. I've met a lot of new people and made many friends this year, and I'm so happy to be a part of everyone's life, if only just a bit. I've got a lot more in store, so let's keep this art train going!
As for the update:
I will be taking a hiatus from commissions and my YCH until January 8th, 2024.
I've needed a bit of a break and I have a lot of things I wanted to work on, so expect to see some cool new stuff.
As for my YCH, "The Rapture Within", I will be reducing the total slots to 4 (meaning there are currently 2 left as of this writing). I'm going to close the YCH for now and re-open it later with the remaining two slots, so if you are interested, please keep an eye on it. I'll post a reminder when the YCH is available once more.
That's about it, so stay cool (well, not too cool; it's pretty cold out there).

Posted 2 years agoIt looks like I hit yet another milestone! I'm very thankful for all the support I get from everyone, and I'm happy that people enjoy the content I put out. It's crazy thinking of that many people who want to see what's coming next. In any case, I can guarantee that whatever is next on the horizon will continue to be a fun ride!

Posted 2 years agoI had opened the floodgates a while back and began posting my various characters instead of just pictures of my sona, and the reception has been really cool to see!
However, the next batches of faces you'll see here will feature characters AND species created by my girlfriend

You see, we share a canon in our works, so there are a lot of OCs from me that are made from species/lore of her creation. And of course, there is a lot of crossover of characters and concepts between us, too. So, you will see my drawings of her OCs/ideas and much more. I hope you all look forward to it!

Today is my birthday!
Posted 2 years agoI always get excited for my birthday. To me, age is just a number, and a birthday is a celebration of life. Being able to come so far is really something no one should take for granted in my eyes. For that reason, I hold birthdays in high regard.
To everyone who's watched me, dropped a favorite, made a comment, or who has just had a good time stopping by my gallery: thank you. I really appreciate any support I receive, and I enjoy making people happy with art. I am sure I'm going to have a really nice day, but I hope your day is just as great, too!

Closing Commissions For April
Posted 2 years agoJust writing to let everyone know that I'm taking a short break from commission work! I will not be accepting any commissions in the month of April.
I will open them back up early on in May, so stay tuned. In the meantime, I'll show off some more characters from the vault and whatever else comes to my mind.

My Commission Prices and Policy

I get asked about my prices through notes often, so I think it'd be best to lay them out here for easy access.
Note about comic commissions and sequence commissions: I will NOT be accepting these.
If you are under the age of 18, DO NOT interact with me and DO NOT commission me, even if it is for SFW art.
Pricing and Picture Styles (Updated 2024-5-5)
Grayscale Sketch:
A single character, sketched out with grayscale coloring is $15. Eye color is optional.
Additional characters in the piece are $10 each.

A single character, sketched out with color is $20.

A single subject, inked and colored in grayscale with screentones is $50 (this includes shading).

Complexity Fee
Depending on the complexity of certain subjects, poses, or themes, I might add a fee of $10 - $15.
Privacy Free
If the commission is not allowed to be displayed publicly in my gallery, that will incur a fee of $25.

By default I put the subject(s) on a simple background.
Something more detailed for the backgrounds starts at a price of $30, and will increase depending on the complexity.

I work on a first come, first serve basis. I tend to work on one piece at a time to give it the proper attention, so you will be added to my queue accordingly. I work fairly quickly, and I try my best to keep everyone informed as I move along.
I will draw:
- SFW
- NSFW (18+ characters only)
- Anthros
- Ferals
- Pokemon
- Goo and Slime (I love these!)
I WILL NOT DRAW:
- Sonic Character or Sonic Style characters
- Cub Porn/Underaged/Aged-up characters
- Incest
- Drones
- Complex Machinery
- Pooltoys/Balloon Animals/Inflation/Nuldge
- Scat/Watersports
- ABDL/Diaper/Baby
- Offensive/hateful content
For close friends and regulars, I may do:
- Ref Sheets ($130 base price, discuss pricing for additions)
- Character Designs (discuss pricing)
I do NOT do:
- FA Icons (this might change later)
- Comics
- Sequences
The best way to keep up to date with your commission (for WIPs, progress, and possible corrections) is through my Discord (@hakuten).
Please lay out the description of the piece and the situation therein clearly! It really helps me get an idea of what/how to draw something. Reference images that show the full figure are very appreciated.
NOTE: If possible, please let me know the owners of the character(s) involved in the piece so that I may credit them properly.
NOTE 2: Clients always have permission to post the finished piece in their own gallery. Adding this here since I get this question a lot after finishing a piece.
I use Paypal Invoices for payment. I do not offer payment plans: Commissions must be paid in full before work begins
My commissions are not eligible for editing/modification by other artists.

Posted 3 years agoI still have about ~4 hours before the new year where I am, but I would just like to take some time to say thank you to everyone who's watched me, favorited my work, or reached out to me in notes/Discord. I chose to start actually posting to my account back in May despite some trepidation in hopes of sharing some of my fun ideas and characters -- as well as making new friends -- and the support has made me really happy. I have had an amazing 2022 with memorable firsts and exciting moments, not to mention a ton of personal growth. I'm carrying that energy into 2023 and I see nothing but good times on the horizon.
Let's make 2023 a banger year, together!

I have a LOT of characters I've drawn over the years, but I figured I'd get my feet wet with uploading only a few things at a time. Now that I'm more comfy, I'll start posting pictures of my myriad of characters, so get ready to see a lot of new faces. Welcome to the HakuVerse (catchy, ain't it?)
