A Switchblade Dug Into A Bleeding Heart
Kirby's Hat
Pompadour and Goatee
TAUNTS
Up: Flicks his switchblade out, tosses it in the air, and catches it, drawing it in front of his neck. "End of the line."
Side: Twirls his hair strand in the front, shaping his hair delicately. "Watch the hair."
Down: Smirks and shrugs. "Givin' up already? Gimme a challenge, at least."
FIGHTING
Stats: Brawler, Medium Speed, Can Take A Punch, Side A Attacks use his Switchblade.
Specials
Neutral: Whips Out His Pistol and shoots a single round. Can be held down to use Hellfire Bullets.
Up: Whips a fiery chain up and drags another player down to him.
Side: Points and Venom, his motorcycle, shoots forward and rockets another player in that direction, offscreen if the percentage is high enough.
Down: Fiery AOE attack, as Harley goes Ghost Rider mode briefly, increasing all his stats.
Final Smash: "Sins of the Father"
Harley gets out his switchblade and the amount of times it was used this life equates to how long the smash lasts. It takes on a sword-like structure, to which Harley gets a limited time to use the sword, which takes a devastating amount of health from the other player. Similarly, if two players from the same series are being played, and one of them is hit, the other is also hit for the same amount of damage. At the end of his smash, a bright light appears behind him and a hand is placed on his shoulder. The switchblade returns to normal and play resumes.
Other Notes
Harley has custom interactions around Paimon. They usually involve flirting. Additionally, while Harley has a chance to mesmerize Paimon sometimes, leaving him dazed for a bit, he also has a chance of hesitating when attacking him. "You sure you can take it?"

Various Updates
General | Posted 11 years agoLets See Here.
My Grandmother's Health is Declining.
I really hate to say it, but she has been less and less coherent, and the hospital visits started again. She's forgetting things more frequently, and her hygiene isn't well kept enough by herself, no matter how much my family reminds her constantly about it. She just keeps getting sick, and every time she gets sick, the Alzheimer's gets worse. It's like her mind is a block of clay, and someone is chiseling away at it, only they aren't making art. It's far from beautiful.
I Finally Procured a Copy of Super Smash Brothers 3DS.
I wasn't too eager to get the 3DS version of the game. In fact, I was going to forego it altogether. However, a game is more fun when you have friends that play, and, well, lots of my friends have the game. Now I do too. I had to go to about four different stores to find it. Who knew SSB was that popular? Heh.
I May Have Gotten A Job.
I'm waiting on one final call, then I get trained and scheduled. I'm eager to start work, but also worried. At home, I do a lot for my grandmother. My grandfather is home as well, but he's asleep for most of the day. I have to take over anything he neglects. I don't mind doing so, but I won't be able to while I'm working. I can't just give up this oppurtunity, though. Not after over a year without work. I need some experience, and some money. Times are hard, and despite the fact that I hate the way this country is run, I have no choice but to live in it. For now.

I suppose that's it for now. Life has been rough. But I'm an optimist. I try to be, anyway. Sometimes it's hard. I'll admit, journals like these are usually not my style. But I felt like sharing for once. Hope you don't mind.

Otakon Report/ My Grandmother
General | Posted 11 years agoSo Otakon was kind of a letdown.
It was three times as big as it was in 2011, not to mention to get into anything you had to wait for hours. Literally. HOURS.
On top of that, I was there to spend time with friends, mostly from college. What instead happened was me being asked for food money and being asked if I was high or drunk because I was so damn tired. (Never done drugs before in my life btw). Not because of the con, or the early mornings. All in all, Otakon was a bad time that came at a bad time. And while I enjoyed some of it, I'm not going next year.
Some of you may already know this, but my grandmother has Alzheimer's Disease.
She also has been admitted to the hospital 5 times within the past 5 weeks.
She's been getting worse, and my family has been asking more and more of me, which I am happy to do, but it's running me ragged. I've been so wiped out the past month that I just can't even concentrate anymore. On anything really. My love life is suffering, I haven't been filling out applications for jobs, and my health is on the decline. My diabetes is getting worse, but comfort foods are so much of a help right now.
I don't know if any of you deal with stuff like this, but please, if you do, don't just say, "I know what you're going through" or "I feel for you" or "hugs" because that does nothing for me here. I'm scared, confused, and not ready for any of this. I need help. I need advice. I just need to get through it. Because this is becoming my new life. I'm going to have to learn how to live it sooner or later.

Two and a Half Cats (and a Raccoon)
General | Posted 11 years agoSo once again, there were a total of four members at the Don Pablo's Meet.
irime arrived first, and we chatted a bit until
kitdrago came by and joined in the conversation. At 6:30 we entered the restaurant and as soon as we ordered our food, a surprise guest
rallyranger showed up. Was convenient since we had one other seat open and the server told us "Um, we can't give you a table that seats 5 unless you have 5 people." So then Rally had to wait a bit longer for food since our waitress disappeared into thin air sometime in the middle of the night, and came back in time for the check. After we finished up, we went over to Cold Stone Creamery and had some ice cream. It was an enjoyable evening.
Thanks to all of you for showing up, one day maybe the meet will return to it's former glory, and WE WILL have that 5 seater booth!

Otakon Fast Approaching
General | Posted 11 years agoI haven't been to Otakon since 2011, and that was my only time. I wasn't a furry then, I didn't have many friends either. This time I have a game plan and plenty of buds to go with. Oh, the mistakes I made during Otakon 2011. Never again. I shall not be the victim of pure chaos. Just a little. Because I like the unexpected when I can handle it. So wish me luck, and if you're going to Otakon in Baltimore, MD, let me know! Maybe we can hang?
Random Fact of the Journal:
My first furmeet was at Otakon 2011. At the time I was just curious to see what the hype was about.

My Favorite Drinks
General | Posted 11 years agoJust gonna make a little list about my favorite drinks here, since tonight is my first time trying a Jägerbomb. That goes on the list by the way. So I'll put it below, alphabetically.
Cosmopolitan (Extra Cotton Candy)
Hard Apple Cider (On Occasion)
Jägerbomb (Tastes Much Better Than Either Of The Ingredients Separately)
Margarita (Of The Fruity Variety, My Favorite So Far Is Watermelon)
Toasted Almond (Or Pretty Much Anything Involving Kahlua)

General | Posted 11 years agoWhere you try to make the best of something but more layers of crap just keep piling ontop of it? That's how I'm feeling right now. I don't even know why, I'm usually so hopeful. I've pushed my paranoia to the side for a bit. But it keeps lapping up at me like an ocean's wave. I can't seem to get it right. Life just keeps hammering that in. And the past keeps slapping me in the face.
I'll just keep on moving then. I suppose it's all I can do. Today is only one day, after all. Lets hope tomorrow is better. I don't wanna get in a slump again.

Growth
General | Posted 11 years agoThroughout the years I have struggled with the idea of letting my characters stay their age forever. I just recently realized that I, as a person, could never allow this. My characters will grow. They have birth years, though I've stopped trying to give them specific birthdays or even months. I just want to specify that one day, my characters may be a hundred, or a thousand, or a million years old, who knows? They aren't ageless, with the exception of the one who is literally a star.
I don't think I could just have them perpetually sit there at one age forever. Growing is a part of them, and I only get the characters drawn that I really care about. Which is all of them, at one point or another. I must have fifty or so characters, but my pockets aren't endless tunnels full of money. And my brain isn't ready to make them every day.
I make characters when the characters are ready. When they are born, I have them drawn. For now, I have a lot of abstract ideas in my head, that will one day take their first breath. Some earlier than others. A couple adoptables I just got wrote themselves in as buddies of my new sona. I'm not just making characters, I'm making a world.
Enjoy!

Regarding Anthrocon
General | Posted 11 years agoI wish everyone well who goes, but I often see things like "I must go to Anthrocon!" posted places. People are really desperate to go, even once. I've been there myself, and that year, I was pretty desperate to go because it felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity. To be honest, it was a good con. It didn't blow my mind. I was disappointed by some aspects. Don't get me wrong, I did have a good time. But going into it, I felt like nothing could go wrong, and to be honest... a lot did. So by the last day I was kind of in a sour mood and eager to get home, even though I loved the con and would like to go again at some point. But I'm getting off track. Here's my guide to enjoying Anthrocon.
1. Mark your schedule with things that interest you. Mark two things at once if you want. Anything that catches your eye, mark. But don't PLAN to go to any of it. If you have free time that you aren't doing anything, take out your schedule, see what's marked and go to it. (While I am aware some things book up fast, there's no need to stress over con stuff. You're there to enjoy yourself. If there's something you really want to go to, get there early.)
2. Meet new people, and socialize. No, I'm not saying hand out your number or anything, but it's the biggest furry con in the US! You should meet some people you may never get the chance to.
3. Save your money. This applies to before and during the con. If you see an artist that is open for commissions at the con, and you want one, it's best to hold off. Con commissions may not be as good in quality as they are straight from their queue. I'd say you should jump on the opportunity if they are reduced price or never open outside of the con though. There are plenty of aspiring artists just waiting around, not at a table. Why not check them out too?
4. Explore. You don't want to, at the end of the con, say "I wish I'd gone here." Go there! Go everywhere! This is one weekend a year, and some of you won't get the chance again, at least for a while. Just see the sights. The city is beautiful too.
5. Food. You want to eat at actual restaurants. Furnando's is a definite pit stop. There's the bar right in the hotel. I think there's a Melting Pot somewhere around there. Whether cheap eats or fancy feast, you want to sample all the food they have. Make sure to do it with friends for bonus points.
Well, that's my list. I hope it helps those who actually read it before AC. Let me know!

Paranoia
General | Posted 11 years agoI hate it. I hate that I have it and I don't know why. I hate living every day with it and feeling like I'm stupid for thinking of these ridiculous things that couldn't possibly be true but they are, somehow in my head, logical, and I don't know why. I hate my thought process and just the way I am. I don't know where it came from or what may have caused it, but I do know that it's there now, and it's probably never going away. I hate crying every time and having to calm myself down over something that was never even a problem. But what I hate most is the fact that I make everyone worry with my stupid brain thoughts and they just don't stop. I'm sorry. I really am. I guess I have to live with it, and I hope you guys can too.

So I Tried to Put In Weasyl for my Website...
General | Posted 11 years agoSince I actively use it to post artwork, and it has a much better posting system for characters, and FOLDERS, and such. And collections are great. But when I went to put it as my website...guess what? It didn't show up. Apparently I can't link my Weasyl as my website.
Also Artspots hasn't existed for years. AND there's no spot for Tumblr. This website is archaic. Everyone is thinking it. But everyone is here, and they don't want to move to somewhere other people aren't. That's my two cents on the matter. Get a Weasyl. Try it for just a little bit. You'll like it. I promise.
Random Fact of the Journal:
Did you know that FA's been revising the site since 2009? As in, trying to completely re-haul it. Five years is an awfully long time...

General | Posted 11 years agoI have passed all my classes and I officially qualify for my useless degree now. Maybe it'll help on applications? Who knows. Anyway, I'm sorry about the lack of postings. I've been waiting on a commission but I may just say screw it and post things now. I just REALLY want to get something on this page. This commission was special because it was like my farewell to my former fursona but I'm still at like #5 on the queue. So yah, I think I'll just post something today. It'll be stuff that was on my old profile though, so nothing new. Just the stuff I want to carry over.
Random Fact of the Journal:
Rabbits don't eat carrots as a main food in their diet. It's more like cotton candy for them. Weird, huh?

Random Fact of the Journal:
I wasn't a furry at my first con, but I was very much enticed by the group I went to and how friendly they were to join.

The (Birth)Day Has Come
General | Posted 11 years agoTwenty Two years old. Wow. Strangely it feels no different. I'm just here, and I survived 2013, which was a really bad year by the way, in many aspects. But I'm here. I'm working on stuff to post here. I'll be re-posting some Character Arts soon. Just saving that first submission for something special. It may take a while though, so I may just hold off until then to post anything else, or I may decide to screw the rules. It's my birthday, i can do what I want, and I get what I want. You know what I want?
I want you all to smile. That's the best gift you could give me is an honest to goodness smile. Be happy.
Random Fact of the Journal:
Did you know that donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes? (I'm sure they had good reason.)

I Suppose It's Time For An Introduction
General | Posted 11 years agoAs you may or may not know, I used to be located at
sacrificerps3. I left that profile for a few reasons, one of which being the retirement of my fursona, Chevy Terrae. Although he is still very close to my heart, he won't be representing me anymore, as a fursona nor as what I'm going to go by during meets. For now, I'm just me. I intend to stay that way, but I understand real names are harder to remember than characters. So I'll be creating a sort of mascot to represent this account and as a name for people to call me at future meets. As my new screen name is
HalcyonHeartbeat I think I'll call him Hal. I have yet to design him, and it may be a while, but I'm going to try to do my new profile justice. Thank you all for being so supportive during this time. I will be posting pictures soon, and also some art I have yet to get. Stay tuned at
sacrificerps3 for one more piece of art, which I will be posting here as well. Thank you all, and I hope this is a fresh start for me.

Did you know that Shakespeare's daughter was illiterate?
