OMG so the awesome  FeralFrenzy helped me out and now my computer is working like a dream. ugh, was so worried. Everyone go and +watch him because he is awesome.

So, I restarted my computer yesterday because my pen sensitivity wasn't working, and I often find restarting my computer fixes that.

Anyway, so, when I restart my computer I have no desktop, no start bar, nothing but my cursor or a blank screen. The toolbar that has the start button on it blinks up every so often but disappears and just isn't clickable.

I get the error "Exception ERegistryException in module aprp.exe at 000525B6. Failed to create key ASUS"

What the fuck does that mean and what the fuck do I do to fix it? I've tried updating windows and asus and ran my anitviruses and everything and nothing is fucking fixing it. I'm beyond pissed off at this moment and have no money because I'm trying to pay for a fucking wedding!!!

Anyone help please!

Anyone got something to inspire me?

Like, I wanna draw but nothing comes to mind. I wanna write but I got nothing. I could design but I got no game design work to do except for writing and I seem to have hit a bit of a road block with that.

So, I've been off sick from work with surgeries and what not so I haven't made any money for the last few months and I kinda need it as people don't want to give you things like electricity for free. So, I've got commissions wide open, no limit on spots.

Okay, so, this year I will be turning 30. I want to be an artist, either through drawing or my writing. But, it just seems that no one wants my stuff. I entered a few contests in the past month, both writing and drawing, and didn't even place in one of them. I haven't had a commission in years. The only way I can get anyone to want me to draw for them seem to be through art trade. Honestly I don't even know what I'm doing wrong. I tried keeping my prices really low and always try to get better and better but, no one even seems to notice. I drew my first drawing that got to 20 favourites in nearly a year this past week. 20 favourites? I see artists on here getting hundreds of favs and it takes me nearly a year to draw something that gets over 20.

*sigh* I just... I don't know what I'm doing wrong or why people don't like my art. I mean, I doubt anyone would even read this journal. Well, there's one or two that I think would honestly read this. Maybe it's just that no one knows me... maybe no one cares to know me... I'm a no one as an artist. No one is like, "Oh hey, I see Halfeb is open for commission, holy crap! I have to get one!"

I'm a face in a crowd that no one cares about who thinks he should be more than he is. I was once told by a good artist that I should just give up. At the time I was like, "ha ha, he's joking." but now I'm thinking he has a point. Maybe I should just give up and submit to a life of being mediocre to the point that when I die they dump my body in a creek and the priest at my funeral says, "Today we bury... what's this guys name?... Mitchel?... Anyway, all his life he... what did he do?... art?... do we have some? .... No?... All used as toilet paper?.... Okay. Well, He will be missed, I guess."

I know that's very dramatic and I'm over doing it, but, I just... I feel like a failure at the moment... I'll be fine though, I'm sure. Just... depressed.

Just wondering, would anyone be interested?

I'd probably be offering art as prizes. Probably a fully shaded piece for first place (max 3 characters), flat coloured piece for second (max 2 characters) and and a lineart piece for third (max 1 character) or something like that, open to suggestions about what the winner would get if people think something else would be better.

I'd go with a theme too for the contest, got a couple of ideas. Inspired by songs, fan, my characters. If anyone has ideas about that too I'm open to them.
