Thursday, Should be able to find me by mid afternoon to evening as I have to get all the kegs to the hotel. I have to get 14~ ish kegs to the hotel... LOL
Who will you be rooming with?
Silia and our friend from MCFC year one
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
Whoever ends up walking into me. I will be a tad busy with all things sponsors lounge!
Will you be suiting?
I have no clue.... Haven't worn Hallet in some time. I may try but I don't think I'll have the time.

Based on the daily drink of the Vikings. A gruit ale, it is bittered with Juniper and Bog Myrtle. Rounds out with a light honey sweetness. A Brewery Becker favorite. Alcohol 6.2%
Vargdricka Braggot
Honey was historically very expensive. Adding a large amount of honey to the standard beer of an area was a way to make a more exotic and precious drink. Typically it was done for special occasions or where one wanted to show off their wealth. Ours is based on Vargdricka. A large drink, with a nose of herbs and alcohol. Alcohol 15%~
Fruit Braggot
Historically honey was very expensive. Braggots were a way to show off your wealth, but not too much. Typically a mixture of the local beer with honey. Ours also has Cherries and Red Raspberries. Thick, alcoholic, with a residual sweetness. Alcohol 20%. Seriously.
Hefeweizen
The classic wheat beer of Bavaria. Smooth and creamy with banana and clove like flavors produced by the yeast. Little bitterness. A Brewery Becker Favorite. Alcohol 5.2%

Looking for a room for MWFF 2015

My mate and I are looking for a room for MFF in the main hotel.
I'm a Homebrewer so I bring my 4 tap jockeybox along with few kegs to supply it. I would prefer a bed to share with my mate.
If you or someone you know has a room and looking to fill spaces, let me know.
I don't want to room with 7 people like a past year... a room total of 5 is ok but must be double bed!

Look for one more to room with us MCFC 2015
Posted 10 years agoLooking for one more to take our last spot in our room for MCFC 2015.
I will be leaving work early to get to the hotel around 12:15 or so to get the room on Thursday.
Depending on who is around I'll give room keys and head back to my house to pick up my stuff for the room.
Silia and I will end up taking the bed that near the far wall because of setting up the Jockey box, kegs, music, ect.
On Sunday we check out as late as allowed and just move most of our stuff to our cars and leave late Sunday night.
I am somewhat of a party fur and enjoy drinking with friends and such.
The Kegs of beer I have are free game to roommates but please ask before handing out any to anyone else. I do check ID's from time to time for my protection, Enjoy it but please drink responsibly!!!
On a side note you must be 21 to enjoy the alcoholic beverage do let some stuff slide if they are staying in the room and not leaving for a time or with it. I don't mind friends that I know from before con but I still limit this.
I will have home brewed root beer on tap that will may or may not have some alcohol from fermenting that anyone can have... (1-3%ABV)
I can do that with no problems from the root beer because you’re going to get full of soda before you can even get a buzz. Also traditional root beer has some alcohol.

I split the cost for the room in four as it's a even split for everyone.
We may have a small room party with friends on one of the nights.
If any of my friends need a room or want to go, please comment asap on this and I'll let you know by Friday what space is open.(2/20/15)
If your looking for a Space I need payment at least a week before con, can work other arrangements out like at con in cash but rarely do this.

First off! if you don't need a room but know someone that does, send them a link.
I want to offer up my second bed in my room to friends of mine for MCFC!
I'm looking for a couple or two people that do not mind sharing a bed, ect.
I prefer a couple because it seems to just work better but it really does not matter in the end.
Now for the details.
The room is booked from the 10th to the 13th for a total of three (3) room nights.
The room is $99 a night and will be split 4 ways even.
The total will be $74.25 each.
I am looking for payment to be paid two weeks before con unless we talk and arrange something otherwise.
The room will have booze. if you bring some make sure you declare if it's your stash or for everyone.
(I'll have my craft home-brew and depending on what the con says I will have a little bit or upwards of four kegs of beer.)
Private time with someone is ok (if not a couple sharing the bed, respect the other person and play in the shower...) :D Would suggest latching the door and try to do it at a time when everyone would be gone for a long enough time for such events.

I'll start looking soon to fill the other two spots as we are going to have the room from 4/10-4/13 (3 nights) spit 4 ways is the plan to cost about $89 each.

So My lovely girlfriend silia and my best friend Kevin and his girl Justine shared a room. We got in on Friday around $;30 and got dressed up and made our way to the convention and had a total blast! The room party's felt alive and made the con fantastic. I got to hang with a few home brewers and had a great time Friday. That lased till the fire alarm went off and at that point we went back to our hotel and called it a night. Saturday we got up and did it all over again having such a great time. Even hung out with a few furs from the Fur con just down the road.
Sunday we got up and drove home but man what a great con! Will be going back for sure!

Homebrewing..... Might be come Brewery!

So with what I have been doing along the lines of home brewing and what I have learned has got me looking at maybe starting my own Brewery at some point in a year or so! I have looked up what I can do and can not do and both are really easy to follow! I would like to partner with a fellow brewer when the time comes or maybe I'll just go solo. I have done my homework about the requirements and totaled out the price point to acquire all the necessary license to be able to brew and sell large volumes of beer (About five total to do everything I want to do)
Now if you have read the first part then cool, thanks! The next step is looking over the total cost of my investment into Fermenters, Mash tanks, cleaning supply's, pump equipment and building (ie. Location). I really have looked over things and I just might pull the trigger on this in a year or two.
I estimated a total cost for my first year to start up a brewery to be around $180,000 give or take some.
Who knows! Maybe in 5 years I might be the first Furry Brewery! xD

Alright so I need a room for MFF
Posted 12 years agoSo due to an event that happened forever ago on my After Dark Twitter account, the Person who was going to give me and my mate a room to crash in at MFF just told me to fuck off. The event was simple, She was single or something and watched my AD account and wanted to maybe fool around if given the chance. She got a BF soon after and she still had her AD account and would occasional flirt with me. ( I did not know she had a BF till this next part) So long story short I went to FCN and she was there along with her new BF that I had just learned about AT THE CON and NOT PRIOR TO SAID CON! So somehow one night she sent me a few messages on twitter and it was in the context of "I want to fool around but my BF wont let me" in the end it blew up in her face and her BF called me out and wanted to start a shit ton of drama that I just laugh about because DUDE I HAVE A FUCKING GIRL! so why would I take yours?
In any case Me and Silia need a Room for MFF and fast! We both have suits and I'm willing to bring 5 Gallon Keg of my Homebrew beer to the con for our room! :)
