reynpuppeh has recently returned to working from home.Now working from home might seem all fun and giggles, but it's also hard work.
Now they've got a nice following, what with their multiple comics and projects. But really? They deserve so many more for the amazing art they produce on both their
reynpuppeh and 
cavesandcritters and for the effort that goes into creating it together with the awesome 
mightymightyena . Not to mention how friendly they are to chat with both about art inquiries and nerd stuff :)But back to the question at hand: "Have You Ever Seen The Reyn?"

Posted a year agoSo, inspired by the recent return of 
spottystuff on FA and his purge of the people he watched onto his new account I figured I should sift through my own.
I did not expect to be dropping over 2/3 of the people I had previously watched. Finding out 1500 people I was following disappeared or changed so significantly that I don't understand why I ever started watching them.
Finding out people I cared for didn't just disappear but pass was rough, not knowing why people I love(d) seem to have up and disappeared even rougher. But hey time goes on, people grow up or out of the fandom or get converted out of their being a fur I guess.
But it did make me realise, I am so inactive on here, I am a lurker, a watcher from the shadows and as I've been reminded, a grey muzzle by the definition of the ancients before us. I saw accounts of people who entered the fandom the same time as me, dusty and unused, old accounts of people who'd changed accounts over 5 times before they settled on their identity on here to then disappear. I saw artists who built up FA and the fandom over the last 15 years, in the times I was a young and active fur, full of life and full of hormones. Most now gone or transitioned into far better life prospects than drawing furry creatures.
I'm left with 740 out of 2287 people I followed before. Most are active accounts, some are nostalgia and longing to see old friends once again. Maybe one day I'll be someone who disappeared, until then. I'll try to be memorable enough to be seen :3
TLDR:
If you stay long enough, you'll spend over 2 days dusting out the corpses from your watchlist.

How did you change?

So for the past 15 years, basically half my life, I've been struggling to make choices and commit to them.
I've finished an education after a relatively long time, which definitely affected my self-confidence but even more so in my confidence in making choices. Especially life changing ones.
I'll pick something up occasionally but then have trouble sticking to it to get good at it or learn it proper. I do enjoy the things I pick most of the times but I just can't stick to it.
Some things I even invest a little money in, other things I get gifted and ofcourse obligatory gym membership that I neglect because it's so haaaaaard...
So my question is, people who have been in my situation, where you just can't make choices and/or can't stick to the ones you make. How did you change it? How have you gotten out of that hole that keeps you sliding back in?

It seems only make journals to ask people for help or promote people I like these days.

Are they kinks or cries for help?
Posted 4 years agoFor a while now just had this feeling that most of my "kinks" might be my brain trying to rationalize getting help by being controlled.
I've been a fur for a LONG time by now, as we all know, our fandom isn't shy to embrace most any kink except the ones we don't mention and even those have a place somewhere. Now I've gotten interested in a good few of these kinks and I've come and gone into most search words you can imagine to figure out whether I liked things. But the thing is, there is one link between almost all my most prevalent interests. They're the lack, loss or surrender of control.
Like a lot of furs I ended up in the fandom through my sexual interests and sexual orientation. And for a few years now I've known which one it is and where it came from. Hypnosis was my first interest and I got it from pokemon. Soon after hypnosis other means of losing control started getting my attention and being cultivated in my mind. I drew, wrote, read, watched and fantasized all things I could think of that took away my or others way of resisting.
Even the darkest fantasies now go through my mind and they're thoughts only a few of my friends and loved ones know.
Recently I've looked for help, not because I realized my thoughts are unhealthy. I have accepted my thoughts and hope they might happen, always hoping never acting on it. But I've looked for help because I know I'm troubled and I need to help myself. The track to a better me is hopefully starting soon but for now I can only sit and wait, thinking to myself and contemplating things I couldn't tell a therapist anyways.
Today my brain really highlighted the thought that maybe all these kinks I started off with so long ago now are me hoping someone will do to me what I've fantasized about. Fix me like all those hypnotists, like all those dominants, all those captors, the masters and controllers do for the subjects they take, the patients, the subs and the for ever changed boys that learn how to be happy.
Maybe I just want to be able to let go and be helped.
But hey, maybe I'm just a pervert with some issues to deal with. Who knows, I might actually be on to something.
