Posted 15 years agoJust wanted to say how HAPPY I am to be living in a country where you aren't regularly herded to the town square to show your "support" for the idiot appointed to mismanage the colonies by the Crowned Moron in the "Mother Country".

Happy Memorial Day!
Posted 15 years agoJust got back from the cemetery. Dropped off some flowers at the graves of my grandmother and an aunt.
Hope you have a good Memorial Day. But you should also remember those who made our good life possible. Weather they were military or not. Loved ones who are gone also did their part. Either at the front, or on the homefront. If they hadn't made the supplies that kept the soldiers and sailors going, we would be living very different lives right now.

Just sorta passing it around since it seems to be a topic of discussion for some on various furry boards.
There's a "gentlemen" going around asking artist for commissions of female harem characters. It's a person that's been banned numerous times on FA and, like the phoenix, resurrects with a new screen name, usually something rather obvious as being shady if you pay attention to the clever name.
The name of the person shall be not spoken for like Beetlejuice, to say it too often will cause him to appear, but I'll just say, real name rhymes with Bike Hurts.
Now, it's not to say that all harem girl commissions comes from this individual, but I'll just say this.
1)If individual advance pays for commission via paypal. DO NOT withdraw the money until you are 100% finished with the artwork and your commission is complete.
2)IF you mail the artwork via USPS, DO get tracking as a claim that the art never arrived is a known M.O. for this individual.
3) Be weary of the individual that is commission said work is asking for a number of sketch scans for "approvals" that seems more out of the reasonable ordinary. An known M.O. Is the person will ask for a number of revisions to a sketch, have them scanned and then drop the commission because it's 'taking too long" as and excuse to end the commission and then will demand the money back, often using Paypal as the hammer to force refund the money as "item not sent".
Again commissioners. CYA when it comes to taking commissions in general, but watch out for some of the more shady elements in the fandom that pray on the younger up and coming artist who don't know any better.
Feel free to copy paste.
Too bad a list of "Crazy commissioners" can't be made but that would probably be going a bit too far.

The Internutz izz a gershtrange plaze!!!
Observant people might notice a strange (and, I daresay, suspicious) similarity in art style between this site and the one labeled "MDS".
Don't worry, they're both mine. Anyone wanting some small amount of proof can go to my DA account (it's under the same name as this one) to see.
What seems to have happened is when I started this account almost 2 years ago, I loaded a couple of things into it and signed off. When I came back the next day... all I could see was a strange alpha-numeric hash that only vaguely had anything to do with what I had inputted the day before, and it wouldn't let me log in.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago.
I updated Firefox, and had to log in to my accounts manually. I mistakenly logged into this account... and it works. B/ Only thing is now I can't get into the MDS account! XP
Well, to make a long story short (Ok, I can hear it, "TOO LATE!" =D), He is me, and I am HE, and together we shall always be. I'm hoping, if I can get both pages working at the same time, to use this one for the more technical aspects of my work, and the other for the stuff you really like.
Until then, welcome to my slightly warped and veering to one side world!
