Since it's the season for all things spooky, I'm hoping to get some Halloween themed stories done for the month.

Lately, I have been exploring the idea of finding attractiveness in what might be considered ugly. It's a topic that I felt would be better discussed here, rather than to leave some comment that might be misconstrued to be an insult. So, I'm not going to mention any particular artworks, only that I've been finding beauty in what might not be considered conventionally attractive. I started with the smaller details, finding a character more alluring with features that could otherwise be flaws, like braces or crooked teeth. But, I find monstrous type characters to be pretty in their own way as well. Curling tusks and horns, more rotund bodies, scruffy, scraggly fur all have a certain charm, especially when contrasted with what would be more conventionally attractive features. I think there's something to be said for an "ugly" character.

That being said, there is still truly ugly art out there. Depictions of cruelty, abuse or otherwise hateful imagery are still just plain ugly. This also leads me into why I'm not a fan of AI art. Art generated by AI seems so artificial and lifeless. The imperfections of human made art are what gives any piece its charm, its life. It makes art great, but AI, provided it doesn't generate some abomination, is too perfect. It lacks the life of real art and is just as lifeless and dull as the machine which spawned it.

Now to find the next, cute, ugly critter.

First, I'd like to begin by saying that I hope the coming year is great for everyone. This year has had its ups and downs, perhaps more for some than others. With the coming year, I look back at what I've accomplished, and while I'm not one to make resolutions, I do want to think about what I want to accomplish in 2025.

Largely, it's to be more active. I want to devote more time to what I make and post more often. I should make more use of the Scraps folder and write shorter snippets that come to mind. I tend to want to make something into a big, complete story before I post it and there's no need to do that. I think people would still love to see some shorter pieces alongside the bigger works.

I'm also on Inkbunny. The stuff over there is the same as what post here, but I'm trying to do more to get a wider audience.

Let's make the next year better than the last. I hope for all of you the best.

Just wishing all a merry Christmas this year. I realize that I haven't put anything out for the season. I've been busy with other projects, but I plan to get a few things out before the year ends.

I hope everyone is having a good Halloween season so far. I've got one more horror themed story and then I wanted to finish the month with something cutesy. I've been trying to challenge myself this month to not only get something written at least for every week, but also to come up with a story and run with it all in one go. I sometimes think maybe these aren't quite as well polished as they could be, but it's been fun to try something different.

I'll be doing another Ammah story for Halloween which should be fun.

It's the Halloween season again. I'm hoping this year to be more active during the month of October. I don't think I could do a post a day like people, but I would like to experiment a bit since this is the month for all things scary.

I'm trying to experiment with adding thumbnails to my stories. I think it will help give a better idea of what's in there and it's a little more visually interesting.

I'm pretty sure it causes FA to send a bunch of update messages because the submissions are changing, so sorry for that.

For those who were in the path of the eclipse today, I hope you all got to witness it.

It was something to see, for sure.

It's been quite the journey, but Ammah's tale has finally reached at least an end in terms of this arc of the character's life. For the longest time, it was something even I was putting off, much less poor Ammah. Such a big event that would change the course of stories to come. Not to mention the addition of a new character. But, in the future, be prepared for the eventual coming of Fereya's first, and Ceri's for that matter.

Until then, be sure to greet the newest member of the cast, Ammasi.

It's been quite a year, hasn't it? I hope this time has brought a moment of joy to everyone.

It's been a little while, so I wanted to make sure everyone didn't think I fell off the face of the earth or something. The month of January was just kind of blah, if you know what I mean. Not exactly a time for inspiration. But, I've a little something coming in the next day or two that I think everyone will enjoy.

In the mean time, I wanted to share my plans for this year, in particular the fleshing out of my OC, Ammah's world. World building has never been my strong suit in comparison to character creating. But, I wished to develop Ammah's world more, making some slight changes here and there. Originally, it was just a mirror of our own world, but with monster and anthro characters. I've decided to mix a little more fantasy, creating a modern world with tinges of magic to it. You saw that in my last story. Speaking of, you'll be seeing Sashur and Bantur again, real soon. In fact, you might be seeing the extended families of several characters as I continue build up Ammah's world.

So I hope everyone looks forward to 2021.

The world ain't a lot of fun right now, I know. But, I want everyone to know that I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be cranking stuff for you enjoyment.

In fact, I think now is the time to do more, not less. I'm going to start putting out smaller pieces alongside my bigger works. Maybe just a few pages, maybe more. Some smaller pieces that are more of me coming up with ideas or trying out some new concept. I usually just note stuff down somewhere and then forget about it, but I think right now everyone could use some more enjoyment in their gloomy lives.

So be sure to check this page out from time to time and everyone keep yourselves safe.

Okay, well not a new Ammah per se, but I did want to do a new series with him this year. The other stuff is still going to continue if you happen to have a particular interest in his other storyline. However, I wanted to do a fun, totally fantasy based Ammah storyline.

Our little friend wakes up in another world, but this Ammah knows something is wrong. He's not supposed to be in this body and what kind of place is this? He can't even remember his real name, taking on the name Ammah in the meantime. All of the other characters will be back, but you might see some changes to their design. Chiefly, the other djinn, Frellick, is going to be a girly-boy like Ammah (and just as fertile). Our little friend is going to wander this strange, new world, getting into all sorts of fun, kinky adventures so I hope everyone looks forward to it.

It's been awhile since I posted something here, so with the start of 2020 I figured there was no better time. First of all, I hope everyone is doing well. Let's make this year better than last, shall we.

Now, with that said I can say that expect much more from Ammah and the gang. I have some new ideas for the little guy. One project of which is that he is going to be doing some writing of his own. Expect to see some fun fantasy/sci-fi type stuff thought up by the djinn. Oh, and they will most definitely be featuring bellies aplenty.

I'm also thinking of branching out a little to. Get some new characters to play with. I got several D&D manuals for Christmas. I've never played the game myself, but they are useful for storytelling purposes. I'm already planning something with a pack of gnolls.

Again, Happy New Year to everyone and I look forward seeing everyone here in 2020.

Well, my power was finally restored today after a week and a half of being down. I'm not quite sure my A/C is working right still, but otherwise everything seems to be returning to normal.

I've got a lot of missed time to make up, so look forward to seeing me posting again soon.

For those of you who don't know, I live in Dayton, Ohio. On Memorial Day night, we were hit by six tornados. One F3 was so close to where I live, that it was almost on top of me. I had to slap the cat into his carrier and bolt through the night for the basement laundry room as branches rained down on my head. The good news at least is that my apartment is intact and still livable. The bad news, I haven't had power since Monday. So, if you guys notice me not posting for a while, that would be why.

But don't worry about me. I'm still kicking and you can bet I'll be back soon with a bevy of new stuff for everyone. You know, I like Fallout and all, but only as a video game. It's not quite as fun when you have to have live like that in real life.

I hope this day has been good for all of you.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I will be posting some more little pieces here and there. I like to come up with new ideas and situations, but don't always have a full story in mind for them. Rather than just leave them in a notebook somewhere, I thought it would be more enjoyable to write out a scene for everyone. It also gives me a chance to explore and practice more interesting situations ;3

Many of these little pieces will probably involve Ammah. I'm going to put Side Quest in the title. This means that the story is not canon to the main story I have going for him. You want to see Ammah in space? It could happen. You want to see a Bad End type story? Well, that might happen too.

I also want to branch out and work with other character ideas I've been thinking about. Either way, I just wanted to give you guys a fair warning so no one is confused the next time I post something.
