I've just hit 32! And I'm still middle-aged.

My dad needs help with more repairs/renovations to his house, and I'm gonna have my hands full hauling materials to help my sister on the coming Wednesday. But don't worry, I'll be back home as soon as I'm done.

Sad news, my paternal aunt had passed away just a few days ago. I'll be attending her funeral this Friday, so I won't be online then. Just a heads up.

Phew, What a month. First Dragoneer died in recovery, then several famous people in the media passed away here and there and everywhere, then this site got hit with a Distributed Denial Of Service attack, and its domain got hijacked by some hackers, and then its official X (formerly Twitter) accounts got hacked too? Tragic news, as of August 6, 2024, the owner of Fur Affinity, Dragoneer, has passed away. We're unsure of his cause of death, but details about it will come soon.

My mother has fallen ill, I saw her in a bad way yesterday morning. My sister had to rush her to a hospital out of town for treatment last night. I now have a PlayStation 5 with a built-in disc reader, my mom ordered and got it for me as a birthday present. Now I just need some accessories and hard copy games for it. Makes up for missing a chance to order it on last year's Christmas.

I'm now 30 years old, so another year in my mid-life. Back in 1993, I was born at 8:30 AM when my parents were having me.

Me and my sister have seen The Super Mario Bros. Movie! It was great! The plot was okay, and the voices of the characters are good. And it's got several funny scenes as well. Definitely worth getting on DVD.

I'm having connection issues with the new internet service provider called "BrightSpeed". It bought all of CenturyLink's assets as of October 3rd in 2022, and it's been having internet outages to 88% of its customers, including me and my mother and sister. Does anyone else have problems with BrightSpeed?

In domestic news, my current house has two serious problems:
1. The tin on the roof of the back room is badly leaking, and the rainwater and mildew has tore through the plaster ceiling, causing serious damage.
2. There's a big leak from the water line underground below the house, 35 gallons per hour, and as a consequence, the structural integrity of the floor under the toilet in the only available bathroom has been sharply weakened and the toilet itself is sinking, looking like it's about to fall down.
So in short, I'm going to be moving out of it very soon, and into a new one closer to a town me and my family frequently go to on shopping trips. And my mother and sister are also aware of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and they said that it is just a flu. So, I won't be on the site for a while when we move. So, wish me good luck!

Well, YouTube's staff have made things worse for themselves and us. Now the Federal Trade Commission is enforcing the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act rule to not only erase all content, but all channels too that aren't making money. Even worse, the requests for public comments on the COPPA rule have been closed down since October 23rd!
