so I've been thinking about this
when it comes to hardware, hype becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, doesn't it?
I'm clearly thinking about this subject because of the Nintendo Switch's upcoming release obviously.
but a game console is only good or bad depending on it's game lineup, we've seen so many generations where the most 'powerful' console isn't the most successful.
so if people buy into the consoles hype, bigger user base, more developers, more games, more people buying it, more user base, so on and so on.
people don't buy into it, small user base, less developers, less games, so on, so on.

with software, no matter the hype, once it's released the game can still be total garbage, incomplete, not what they were advertising, etc. I mean look at No Man's Sky, that had the biggest hype I had ever seen in forever.

but with consoles, I know that there are tons of different variables, but in the broad sense of the idea, the hype becomes real if people believe it, doesn't it?

so, been a while since I've posted or anything.
I have been in Dubai for the last few months now. Things have been an absolutely chaotic roller coaster of insanity.
I want to say everything thats been happening but it's an incredible amount to go through at once
and I'm not sure I'm in the right mindset to even start talking about this stuff until I'm back home.

BUT

it looks like I'm coming towards the end of my trip now, maybe another month or so.
things are stabilizing, I'm getting a lot of stuff sorted while I'm here.
I'm feeling a lot more stable lately, the start or my trip...well, was pretty insane and drove me fucking crazy for a while.
but as I said, things are better now

there's plenty of stories for me to tell when I get back.
I'm sure there are people who miss Hammy story times from the live streams, well there's PLENTY of new stories to go through.



oh and october 16th is my birthday, turning 31. wish I was spending it at home, but honestly I'm happy that I'm going home soon at all.

it's of a character that's based on a coworker.

one of the shows I've worked on, there was a character based on one of the people working in the studio with us and now there's rule 34 of that character... just... it feels weird.

 fortunefox is borrowing my cintiq to work on things but now I'm just considering buying a new one.
I'm currently using my surface pro to sketch and doodle but it's not good at all for finishing drawings let alone stream.

ok, so going to be taking on some commissions, was wondering would you guys prefer to rent me by the hour on livestream? or just "here's cash, get your drawing" type of commission?

you might get more bang for your buck with the by the hour renting style. can sketch out / doodle a lot.

so, tomorrow is my last day on contract at the animation studio I work at (it's the reason I've disappeared for so long, had some pretty long and draining shows to work on), the studio will be closed for the next 2 weeks for christmas and I'm not sure if I have anything lined up directly after the holiday, so I will probably start doing some commissions or whatevs.

either way it means I will be back for more hammy doodling, some actual finished pieces (for once) and tasty titles, nevermind the fact that 2 of my most recent submissions are both titled "hamface".

it was a pretty quiet nothing day, nothing special happened, no presents, no dinner, nothing

apparently things happen on that day and make sure to have your traditional hammy day vindaloos.

in the mood for the drawing of the pornings, but every idea seems so unoriginal or "been done by better".
would like to know what themes you like from me, I personally love the hyper, cuckolding, incest, pregnancy, the unique and the weird.
just an interesting unique idea, like double "all the way through", one inside the other, etc.

but would love to know what you guys like.
