Just encountered a potentially disastrous situation with google chrome, And thought I should warn everyone

I noticed today the web searches I did on my laptop suddenly appeared in my desktops browsing history, Upon checking through some settings I discovered google chrome automatically syncs browser history, bookmarks, extensions, login, and even open tabs across every device you log into your google account from. Meaning it is pure dumb luck I happen to use firefox at work, because if I used chrome there, all my porn tabs would have popped up on my work computer in front of everyone thus ruining my life.

I disabled the auto syncing But I'm mad as hell this dangerous feature was stuck in there like that and turned on by default.

Edit: Apparently there is some kind of "incognito" mode you can use to get around this

Hello everyone!


I have two weeks of no work coming during our Xmas shutdown, and thought I would use this dead time to try out and test the waters to gauge interest in an idea that has been brewing in my head for a while.

That is to do animations on a donation basis, when the donations reach a specific point I will complete the project

What this means is l'll be able to put out a lot more stuff here because I'd be able to justify spending more time on it, and if this first small step is successful perhaps I could take on a larger project next, hire a team do a full length episodic kind of thing, it would be a full fledged tiny special interest animation studio! :)

I'm thinking for a first tester project I would take two weeks to finish this Gargoyles WIP https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6904984/ though realistically a definite timeline is hard to guarantee,

first thought for fundraising goal is $1800 as that is roughly 2 weeks wages for a animator, if it exceeds that goal Ill add extras, like perhaps Lex in there somewhere!


So if enough people express interest here, Ill go to the bank and see how to set this sort of thing up!

I'm not a gamer so I haven't actually experienced the legendary EA bullshit first hand that I've heard of for so long, but I did buy the new Sim City (I wont go into the problems with that game everyone already knows them) The funny thing that happened is now that I have an account with this thing they call "Origin" which I apparently need to play EA games it was almost immediately hacked, and for the past two weeks I have been trying to reset the password but the password reset service is broken, so I followed the support links to contact origin with the problem but the links that appear to lead to actual help only link back to more FAQs which only send me back to the broken password reset service.

WHY DO PEOPLE BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS SHITTY COMPANY????!!!!!

I need some programming help with a crazy silly tekkit minecraft project I'm working on, a lot of it is just programming frame doors with forcefields so I can open and close them from a password controlled interface, I would also want a few other nice things like, a security program that automatically locks down all doors sets off alarms and releases golems, also I want a basic Intranet where the buildings computers can communicate with eachother for basic messaging and maybe executing commands, if at all possible a nice basic GUI for this would be a massive plus.

So anyone who is interested let me know how much this kind of work costs and we shall see how it goes! Thanks!
