I was asked to do a speech in front of 300 people about working at subway and what not... and just got a phone call about an hour ago asking if it would be okay if the local newspaper interviewed me afterwards!!!

I'm excited and freaking out all at the same time! I don't know what to talk about! XD


Long version for you :P

So basically, I got hired at subway as part of a school co-op summer work program. I get two credits, and actual pay (unlike regular co-ops). Now this program was only open to about 100 people, they let 250 in. Now that 250 people, and their employers, and some press are going to be at our graduation night little thing! There's gana be lunch, prizes to be won (hopefully I get the i-pod! :D) and of course some people talking and what not!

Well last tuesday at our mandatory classes, I was pulled aside by Ashley, my supervisor, and asked if I had a fear of public speaking! Which I don't really, so I said no. So she told me that my mark was 100% for the class (I'm on of like 2 who got that Yay! :D) and if I wanted to say a speech in front of everyone at the graduation!!! And now I got a phone call that someone from The St. Catharines Standard, wants to interview me!!! :D

Soooo long story short, I'm soooooo freaking nervous to do it!!!!

I'll be doing subman again this wednesday 11:30-1:30pm again, at my store, just dancing and what not! Come help the two hours go by faster by coming to visit! And do a few dances with me! :D

So last second thing (so sorry!) But I'm hosting my annual gallon challenge this Saturday, August the 20th. From 1pm-5pm. The basis of it is drink a gallon of milk in under an hour, then for the next hour don't through up!!!! All you can do for the two hours is drink, talk, and walk about basically! Exciting I know! :P

The plan is arrive at 1pm, to make sure everyone is there not start until 2pm, begin the second half of the challenge at 3pm, 4pm be done and let everyone gather themselves, and then 5pm done! though no rush to leave :P

If you are drinking it'll be $10 to cover the milk, other ammenaties and the $5 donated to the pot. Who ever wins walks away with the pot.

If you are drinking you have two options either 2% or chocolate. I recommend 2%. Trust me. :P

You don't have to drink to be there, spectators are allowed, as are donations to help cover the cost of some of the goodies and what not. (totally optional, no pressure at all)

There should be a video about a week later for all to watch just to let you all know :P

Also, I will be demonstrating my Sandwich Artistry by having a 3ft party sub there for everyone!!!! we'll be picking it up at 3:30pm so most of the participants will be done already,if not all, and what not. :D

So today's my day off, and I only have about 2 Subway University courses so I can be a "certified sandwich artist" (Hoooray!) But I've been trying to do them for like... 4 hours! Everything on the internets just seems so interesting right now!!!! Everyone stop being so cool and interesting! Don't make me come over there!!! ... Cause I will, these courses are horrible...

... I wonder what's going on with myspace these days... I need help.

Oh ho ho... oh sandwich humor.

So today I got to fulfill my dream of working the streets... as a performer! The moment I walked into the store and Marlene told me my suit was already there, I ran to the back with quite the smile on my face to see Subman! In all his caped bread glory! I got to work at 8 and wasn't allowed go out until 11:30. So it was an average day, got a shipment, had some breakfast, etc.

Finally, Marlene told me that I could go get ready to be Subman, and handed me a pile of things. Among those things were a pair of Subman gloves, Subman shoe cover things, and (the sexiest thing I have ever worn) a one piece green unitard, two sizes to small of course. Not only do I get to be a sandwich, but I also get to broadcast every inch of my body to the viewing public! :D

Once finally subified, and hitting my head off everything I could, a few pictures were taking with co-workers and given my sign, and out I went! showing off my finest dance moves like, the macarena, the robot, the chicken dance, and running around holding my cape like the badass flying sub I was. (more to see in the video)

Of course there were people honking, waving and even a few who actually went to subway afterwards, but there were a few people who made my day! Like my grandma coming to see me, and took the majority of the pictures and video I'll be using. The man on the bike who offered me a beer! Yes a man stopped at the intersection asked me if I wanted his half drank beer, tempting! But I politely declined :P The carload of people who circled back around about 3 times to watch. The numerous people who took video and picture. And my personal favorite... the guy who's car stalled in the middle of the intersection, so helped push it out of the way. XD

I'll upload a few pictures now from my camera, and I'll have the others uploaded when I get them from my grandma. I'll probably be doing it again, so there'll be more pictures and video on the way :P

So today, whilst working at subway (yeah, I work there now if you didn't know already :P) my boss/manager/ladyperson told me about how our region now has a weekly schedule, a different day a different store. I was told that because I was the new guy I had the "horrible" task... of dancing on the street corner... for 2 hours, as Subman!! Subways costume/mascot guy!

I had an amazing time at FE 2011!! Thank you to everyone who helped put it together, the staff, the volunteers, everyone! You did an amazing job :)

I had an absolute ball rooming with  Husky-O and the rest of my family. And as she probably wont write one, Allison loved her first con, and may be looking into more! :D

Also it was my birfday last Tuesday, yay 17! And next year at FE I'll be 18! So I think I just enjoyed my last minor year!

I've come across a game that seems to be ridiculously ridiculous. It's called QWOP. You play as a representative of a small nation in the Olympics, and you have to run 100m. Only issue is, your training program was under-funded. So you basically have to hit the QWOP keys to move his legs. Q and W to move the thighs, and O and P for the calves.

If any part of your body like your arms, or head touch the floor then you have to start over.

My sister hasn't really been involved with the fandom for long, just been going to the Niagara furry dinner meet, and is coming to the Toronto meet next month. She also should be attending FE!

Finally, thanks to the influence of a certain person I've began the works of a new fursona by the name of "Slush" He'll be a husky, a winter husky! Cause I love winter :D Still gatta work out all the details.

So I haven't really done almost anything on FA in a while so I thought I'd write the few but important to me, who have decided to watch me :D

So nothing is really that new with me to be honest :P I've lost about 30lbs since I started the whole weight loss challenge thing with Mr. Dad in September. His own results? I ain't telling! :P You'll have to wait until you see him next :P (Get why it's a "lil" update oh ho ho! :P)

... that's really basically it xD My life has been as amusing as... I can't even come up with a witty way to end that, my life's just been uneventful lately :P

As for the apple of my "ear" I would like to introduce you to, if you don't know her already. Nataly Dawn ... and Jack Conte! :D For those who don't know -them- they make Pomplamoose! A musical duo who I find just greatly enjoyable to listen to! They actually just did a commercial for Hyundai (I think) They sing a Christmas song that I just forget which. xD

They're on YouTube and iTunes, and if you're going to listen to them now you need to listen to La Vie en Rose (they're cover of a song by Edith Piaf) Expiration Date, and Little Things.

Soooo I started taking co-op, wanting to take something in the media broadcasting field, preferably Radio. So because of guidance messing up my schedule, and putting me in co-op I wasn't on one of the teachers list. So when I finally learned this it was too late as the only radio station taking co-op students had taken all the students they were going to.

So my great teacher Mr. Hinton went and did something totally unexpected but freaking sah-weeet!! He went and talked to my principle and now have arranged for Sir Winston to have its own radio station. While we wait for it to be all wired up I'm just to do a pod cast. Then the 1st step will be me playing music and what not over the PA system, and then if things go well Sir Winston will have its own actual radio station on its own frequency.

I think it's surprising for a high school to have a radio station but... I guess if you've got the funds?

So fingers crossed on this end, but for the most part I will have an awesome time with this!

Just thought I would share some stuff because... well... stuff happened!

Alright! So School starts September 7th, less than a week away. Wednesday was my registration where I got my classes and payed for stuff, not really that big of a deal. (except I got some comments about the hawk :P) Now I would tell you what I'm taking... if I knew. Yes my guidance department, for the 2nd year in a row for me, has messed up my schedule and its totally blank o-o so after talking with guidance they're trying to fit me into my classes, but they might not be able to now D:

Coming up! The first Niagara meet!! September 14th at East Side Mario's in St. Catharines :D Who's excited? I'm excited!!

On a different note, Mr Dad and I have joined a gym! Whootness! We go to Premier fitness just down the street from us, about a 10 minute walk, they got a pool and everything. A really nice place. The best part about it is the Mandarin is next door :P ... oh! And that Mr Dad has entered a contest with the gym. If he loses the most body fat percentage in 3 months, he wins $10 000! 2nd place is $5 000, and 3rd $2 500. All the top 50 are invited to the awards dinner where the money is awarded. So really? $10 000 to get in shape? Hell yes!! We've signed up for a personal trainer, and he's defiantly excited for it. It starts on sept 7th, and ends dec 7th. The last guy who one last year was from London, and lost I believe around 90 pounds. So my fathers goal is basically the same, wanting to lose a pound a day.

Now finally, speaking of the good old Mr Dad, I just want to clarify for anyone who doesn't know. He is my biological father, nothing like play or what ever else reason.

I can't remember all of them so I'll spare you all of any confusion. :D A catch is, that once you've ordered your pasta and sauce you can't change it... but you can trade your bowl with someone else at the table for theirs! :3

So I just got back from Condition, rooming with Mr Dad as the norm.

It was a flippin wicked time with my fave furs as always :P From swimming in the pool, to "glorious tentacles" this con has left me with some great memories and many a laugh.

My favorite moments would have to be being drawn on, and all of Sunday night basically :P. Shilov Mutt the cocktopuss ftw!! The fem pannel with Kitty and Rozz, was a lot of fun to talk (mostly listen) about the fandom and the woman furry. Meeting Husky-O!!! That totally made my con :P The pool party put on by the Michigan furs!! (Dumpling I need their names!! I don't have em!! Thanks bud :3) and playing games with Thad, Beka, Xzion, and Meatloaf :P
