How do you organize one? I see a few of my friends doing them and I want to do one too but I'm not sure how it's put together. Anyone who could help?

so i have a certain manga series that i have followed for years and years and i have slowly been collecting the artbooks of the mangaka in my free time. most of the ones i want can be found on Ebay for no more than $50 (and sometimes free shipping.) i was curious, would anyone want to trade art for purchasing a few specific ones for me? it would mean a lot to me since i have spent more than a decade in love with these characters and the artbooks are just so beautiful. ;A; let me know! this would be a good way to get art from me since i am closed to commissions right now to work on my art trades.

since nobody on my waitlist has actually paid, i will be canceling all of them and closing my commissions for a bit. i have been too scatterbrained to really do much art for FA, and as much as i would like to keep commissions open, i dont want to keep people waiting and not deliver. the only person i will be keeping on commission wise is  donutdog2  chamomile  herro  raidercz  marioinatophat and because of a prior agreement but other than that i am going to wipe the slate. IF for any reason you had paid and i have not given you your art yet please send me a note with the amount and what you wanted me to draw, and i will either refund you in full or we can make a compromise.

i'm really really sorry to have to do this, but every time ii looked at that waitlist i just felt nauseous. i want to start fresh and be able to work in super small batches so i dont overwhelm myself. i hope none of you are disappointed. ;v;

basically a lady at another store (i work in a smaller localized chain of gourmet grocery stores) who works in cheese had a serious stroke. this is her second one in how many years, and since our cheese dept is 3 people (me and two others) they have volunteered to help pick up shifts at that store until she either comes back or quits. there's a distinct possibility of me getting full time, which is super exciting! (i really need the money ;v;) i just wanted to let you guys know why i have been quiet lately. i am still working on everyones commissions, i am just also juggling 40+ hour work weeks too. patience is greatly appreciated!

i am in therapy and i dont know if its helping at the moment.

as i am closed right now for commissions this wont affect any of my current customers, but for future commissioners i have raised all prices for my art slightly. all current prices can be seen in my commission info tab on my profile. these price changes will most likely not change stream prices either, i have yet to decide.

As of now I will be closing off commissions. I have a list as long as I am tall, and I want to try to get them all done. I will be contacting the next 3 or so on my list to ask if they still want the commission, and we will go from there. Since I don't require payment upfront for any of my new form commissions, if you want to cancel at any time you are free to! I will just remove you from the list.

I will try to open for commissions again some time within the next couple of months, but it will be small manageable batches that I can deal with easier.

some photos of me were leaked onto a revenge porn site. for those who dont know what that is, its where dirty scumbags put photos of their ex-girlfriends along with their full names, contact info, etc in order to fuck them over, humiliate them, and make their lives miserable. luckily, i was able to get the photos removed quickly. i dont think it was done by someone to specifically target me (i have no exes who would do this to me) but regardless it was malicious.

i'm still pretty shaken up by the whole thing. i havent really done any commissions since it happened. the internet took a super sour tinge for a while, i wasnt able to shake the feelings of guilt, humiliation, and the sense of dread that i felt when i was online.

i feel really bad for making people wait (tho i dont accept payments upfront for this sort of reason) but i felt like i should explain myself to everyone and indicate that my silence doesnt mean i am trying to ditch you guys, simply that this whole series of events has really made me reconsider a lot of junk.

that being said, i am still working to get commissions out to people, and i am kind of seeing this whole thing as a turning point. i want to do better, i want to reinvent my art on here. i want to try harder on commissions and make them look better. i want to be the artist i know i can be.

I've gotten a lot of friend requests on Skype lately, and I just wanted to get this out there.

I would love to talk to you about fetish stuff. But that's not all I like to talk about! If you come at me with fetish talk right off the bat im not going to have any interest in carrying a conversation with you. Same goes for people asking about my body or whether I'm single. Once I get to know you then yeah I might want to talk shop with you in a little more depth.
