Especially durign times, where things get quite a bit rough being a freelance artist, it's nice that a community like this one seems to always have my back. It's been something I've wanted to do for a while, even with the unfortunate news about Discord becoming weird recently. The server is focused on art, writing, and worldbuilding. While it is themed around my work and creations, including news and developments about my projects, I want to make it clear that this is not meant to be a one-wolf show!

I am thrilled and honestly a bit stunned to see that I have been honored with the Best Newcomer Award at World Anvil's World Building Awards 2024. Given the incredible talent and competition, winning wasn't something that I had on my mind. So... a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and voted for me!

Reflecting on this past year, where I have poured my heart into crafting the world of After Silence, this recognition feels both surreal and... validating in a way. It never felt like I actually made much progress with After Silence - there is so much lore still to put into writing, so many timelines and maps still to create, so much artwork still left to draw, that I didn't think what I had amounted to much.

So, receiving this award is genuinely unexpected, but also a big motivation to push forward. The journey of writing the first book set in Netherdyn, alongside developing the broader world, is as daunting as it is exciting. I want to share more with you all and show you what I have in mind for this project.

I know FurAffinity is certainly not exactly the prime platform for content outside of furry art and writing, but I hope still, that I can make some of you curious about this project. And knowing me, there are still plenty of enough furry-related content in all my work. I can't help it, after all ;)

To my utter suprise, I have been nominated as the Best Newcomer to the Worldbuilding Awards 2024 for my work on the setting "After Silence". Some might know this about me, but I am working on a TTRPG and novel fantasy setting and I have been publishing lore articles about this world an World Anvil since last year.

Now I am in the Top 5 for Best Newcomers. I might actually win a physical trophy for my writing! Which is crazy to think about.

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a fantastic start to 2024!

I just noticed, that I start the year with 400 people watching me here. Which is just crazy to think about, isn't it?

It's been about 2 years now since I really dived headfirst into digital art. You know, getting serious about it and trying to do social media to get my work out there, it's just often a hassle at the mercy of some algorithm. So seeing all of you here, following and supporting my work, it's just honestly really cool. Thank you!

I'm super passionate about furry art, and that's not going to change, but I plan to dive deeper into fantasy art, especially for my own books and settings in "After Silence". It's a big dream of mine, and I'm working hard to make it a reality. I want to be an independent artist and writer, creating worlds that we can all escape into.

But I mean, furry art and fantasy art overlap a ton anyway. I mean, who doesn't love dragons and kobolds? They've kind of become my signature thing now.

So here's to more art and more adventures in 2024.

So, when I made this account, I didn't really create art, but I got about 300 followers on here, just by posting my commissions. Since abotu a year I learned how to draw digitally, and now I want to focus more on doing my own art. I actually work on my own D&D 5e Setting book, that I write and wont to create artworks for. It's still a long road, and I need to learn a lot, but...

I just kind of wonder if people are interested in that sort of stuff around here. I will never stop posting my cute commissions, I am just wondering what people would be interested in, if this account now mostly turns into my own art, instead of just art from better artists.

I just noticed, that the second highest viewed picture in my gallery is that vore comic I posted yesterday. After collecting nice, beautiful art from awesome and talented artists over the years, filling my gallery with a proud selection of cute feral art, it's the YCH vore comic I accidently grabbed that becomes almost the most popular picture on here. Not complaining just... you know... there is a joke about furries to be made in here, but I'm sure you already made them all in your head already.

Oh, and my most viewed picture is still the one and only porn comission of mine.

I just dreamed that my girlfriend turned into a dragon. Seriously. And all that happened because of that, was that we talked about how we now need to search for a bigger apartment in my home town. It wasn't even a weirdly erotic dream, it was just "Oh, I guess Im a dragon now. Weird. Well, anyway, about the thing we talked about..." I don't know if they have dragon friendly flats in Frankfurt, but I should google that now, I guess.

Anyone care to interpret this dream? And no, I didn't see the cosmic owl in my dream. x..x
