I'm doing ok, going through the motions and what not, most of which I yap about...on social media haha I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't update my FA as regularly as I probably should and there's just a bunch of art I gotta get to

Hey y'all. It's been a while since I've gave any signs of life over here. I have not been uploading stuff over here and I haven't been using the site as I used to. sorry about that.

Since last December I've been going to a psychiatrist, got diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression. I've been medicated since then. it's been a hard process re-adapting to a more 'normal' state of mind, an uphill battle filled with obstacles along the way. I've been carrying a lot of trauma for the past 15 years and I never got any help for it, so it all came crashing down to me all at once. Ever since I quit my job of 6 years in the middle of the pandemic, I've been living in a very peculiar way, with a severe lack of structure, fueled by anxiety and mania. My treatment nullifies both of those things and makes me a very dysfunctional person. I'm currently working with both a therapist and my psych to work it out. It makes drawing very difficult for me, I can't stop overthinking, I'm too worried of being a bad artist, of letting people down, of not doing enough. Art is my sole income right now and if I can't draw, I essentially cannot live normally. I haven't opened commissions for a while for this very reason, I have several commissions on queue and the list isn't getting any smaller as time goes by because I'm unable to work as efficiently as I once did. My mind is crippling me, it's going faster than my body, and it hinders my ability to function as a normal human being.

I feel like I'm doing a lot better when it comes to my mental and emotional state, I feel more calm and collected, still got a couple of demons haunting me everyday and I'm trying my best to push through and take it slow, one day at a time. The guilt that I feel about letting people down and not delivering commissions in a timely manner crushes me, and it does not help my overthinking. I feel like everyone hates me. I know it isn't necessarily true. But it sure feels that way. My goal for the future is doing as much as I can with my queue, save some money, taking some time off, and see if I can figure out a better way of living. I still wanna make art, it's a part of my life and it's what I do. it's just very hard for me right now. I hope you can understand that. Since I haven't been taking commissions I've been having money problems which...don't really help my situation. So I'm planning on what to do about it moving forward. To anyone who commissioned me this year, I sincerely apologize for the wait on your pieces. They will get done. It's just taking me forever to do them.
