Time has stopped.

I've been counting down the month before I leave for university and while the first three weeks went by really fast, this final week has slowed down massively. I woke up today desperately wishing it was Thursday, but alas I am out of luck.

Perhaps it's a relative thing. Several days are unimportant when there are 30 to go through, but when five remain, just one is a big deal.

Still, I need things to keep me occupied until Sunday. I completed Tomb Raider Anniversary yesterday and PowerRangers.com is only showing one episode per day (Starting today, if you want to watch something really bad from the very beginning). Play God Hand? Watch Dragon Ball GT? Read The Lord of the Rings? I'm not eager for any of them right now.

I want to put  Nefer together with male Hat for the second picture, but I don't have an idea in mind like I do with  Runefox. Any suggestions might be helpful.


Meanwhile, I discovered that someone on e621 decided to take a picture of Hat and colour it just a little to form his own character (See here). In truth, I don't mind. Like I say in my profile, I believe in a free internet. I just thought it was kinda funny. He probably should have copied the eyes from the coloured version in my scraps and taken more of an interest in figuring out how to colour inside the lines.

First thing, I saw Toy Story 3 last night. I won't spoil it of course, let me just set the scene. I'm leaving for university next month, I can't decide which, if any, of my Gundam model collection to bring with me and so I connected with that film. I was also surprised at how dark it got, with an outright oppressive atmosphere and when it got to the end, yeah, I cried.

It was The Wrath of Khan last week, Toy Story this week, I think I'm going to have to play Metal Gear Solid 3 too.

Moving on, I'm a published editor now.  Rhazzazor writes some excellent erotica, but his English isn't perfect so I'll be going over his whole gallery, fixing it up. Kiala and the School of Tentacles is already done, I'll give Kitty and the School of Tentacles a second look tomorrow before sending it over. After that, I don't know yet. The rest of them are still very readable (If you're not picky, you might not even notice the errors) so if you find one you like very much, let me know and I'll do it next.

In exchange, Peter's offered to write me something. I have a lesbian schoolgirl tentacle idea bounding around in my head, but I can't decide if Hat should star in it. It would have to be some kind of non-canon deal (As much as I have canon) because I don't think there's room for lesbianthropy.

As for borrowing characters, I've decided I'd like to partner female Hat up with  Runefox. I've got a tasteful plan that will compliment her well.

So I should be going to university after the summer for engineering.

(That update will be announced today for sure)

The access to higher learning course I'm just finishing now has been pretty good. I was a little worried about getting all the assignments in on time, but it's somehow all managed to fit together. However, I've suddenly been handed a bill for the deposit on the accommodation at uni, which I have to pay in three weeks or my housing application will be rejected and I could end up with nowhere to stay. It should be within my budget to pay it off, but I'll have to stop spending money on everything, including that group picture idea from  Flightless

If someone wants to go pick up that slot, I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

 Flightless has room for a good quality colour picture, so for $5 each who would want to get in on that?

Also, what sort of theme should we go for? Should it be clean, suggestive or adult?

Of course, I'm quite happily homosexual. Though I kinda wish I could swap sexes daily. One does not truly appreciate what they have without contrast.

Blonde hair instead of white, I suppose.

5 – Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?
Ha, no. The coincidence of DracoJeff picking out the same clothing I had coupled with one conversation about experiencing the other sex (And finishing it with a touch of werewolves) gave me everything I needed to establish this lesbianthrope Hat thing. The rest is just logical deduction about what half-exposure to light would do and how alternating sexualities would affect a relationship. I'm not sure there's a history to be told.

6 – Do you and your fursona share relationship status?
Pretty much. I'm single, Hat's single and although our sexualities are incompatible, I did sleep with that Cupo fellow this one time.

7 – Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
Not at all! Perhaps because there's nothing to be jealous of. What I do like is how I wasn't paired off at all in that Super Herm Galore thing. It's probably what would happen if I were put in such a situation and that's fine with me.

8 – How would you like your character not to be used?
What do you want me to do, pull out the laundry list of subjects most people don't want to draw anyway? There's next to no chance of me being given surprise gift art so it's not an issue and the only thing I can think to say is that I want to keep Hat away from any strictly heterosexual acts.

9 – What’s your fursona’s specialty?
Scythe magnet. I only asked for one once, but it just kept coming back. Then it turned into a pickaxe.

10 – At a score of 1-10 how much are you and your fursona alike?
Real people can't change their sex twice a day, so I guess I'll have to meet Hat half way.

 firekitty held one of those pageview contests in celebration of her return after months away, in which I happened to win second place. But instead of a picture for myself, I was more interested in just seeing more of her hyena girl.

Normally I prefer a tucked-in T-shirt, but on a whim I decided to wear a proper shirt unbuttoned for the whole day.

The sky was clear, the sun was warm.

I stopped quite often to sweep it aside and put a hand at my hip, just for the sake of showing off.

I completed the newest version shortly after posting about it and thought I should note that it might be worth checking out the 3.0 release as well.

4.0b is published as a Mega CD game rather than the previous Mega Drive versions. It has a small effect on how it runs - Longer loading, a couple of graphical errors possibly due to the emulator. But you also get Tails and Knuckles added, a much prettier Green Hill Zone and a completely different Marble Zone boss.

What I really wanted to say though was that the final boss goes down in one hit now!

Why would they do that?! It was an epic struggle in 3.0 that's now been trivialised!

Sonic Mega Mix is where it's at. Complete overhaul of Sonic the Hedgehog with Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Mighty. Stages are twice as long, the music's been replaced, it's more challenging and the bosses have been given some interesting twists. If you can make it to the Final Zone, the little change they made is downright cruel, but beating it so so satisfying.

Seriously, grab it, load it with Kega Fusion and have some fun instead of falling victim to the Sonic Cycle again.

On the go right now I've got two more group shots from  Arlon3, a free sketch featuring Cupo again from  Toho and a followup to Oh no! from  xexus.

If I'm to commission something again once they're complete, I'd like it to be with the purpose of exploring this lesbianthropy theme. So here are some of the paths I've thought of.


1 - Eclipse. I asked my comrade  nathea what would happen during one when I was first conceiving of lesbianthropy, intending at the time for the answer to be a hermaphrodite form, but he instead said simply "death". I since refined herm Hat to being a product of half-exposure, but the death has stuck with me. I now figure an eclipse would bring on some terrible, monstrous form.

2 - You know how it is when you're walking home in the afternoon and the sun hasn't gone down yet but the moon is already in the sky? What happens then?

3 - Better defined sexuality. Hat is supposed to be gay whether male or female (With a thing for herms at any time), but nothing so far makes that clear. Toho Fuhai should be working on something like this already.

4 - Fucking.

5 - Transformation. I love absurdity, so I like those comics where someone suffers a long, traumatising transformation, but I picture lesbianthropy as being an instant *POOF* sex change. Know anyone who'd draw a single-page comic cheaply?
I also thought it could be cool if male Hat's jeans would explode into the short shots when he turns female, then reform themselves when she turns male. Does the change affect his body too? Maybe Hat's body is restored to how it was every time, even healing wounds.

6 - What the hell kind of a fantasy world does Hat live in and how widespread is magic? Is he capable of casting any spells?
