Aurora Selene Vermilyea was born at 746pm, 21 in long, 8lbs 8ozs.

Both mommy and baby are doing great. Pictures are coming later.

taking the mate to the hospital again, no contractions but pretty sure the water is broken.

Will post the actual birth announcement as soon as feasible after the birth.

Overall not a bad weekend, with the great kicker watching the bears whoop that lion ass today :D

Still no change with the mate and upcoming pup, hopefully Aurora comes out and says hi soon....

As soon as anything changes, I will do my best to post all the updates here.

It did end up being a false alarm, but it should be any day now according to the nurse there.

managed to return home sunday after the LARP event, had a really good time, but OMFG i am SO sore everywhere. the only frustrating thing about the event was logistics. they usually print up the IG tags for items you can make before the friday of gamestart. we never got our tags at all because of no power in the logistics trailer. i guess they are not capable of moving a compuer tower out of there or something. ::shrugs:: meh, i will get them eventually i guess.

hoping to go to a furry bowling in bloomington on friday. depending on the mate and baby, we SHOULD be free and clear to go. of course, will be taking pics while there to post here.

will be at a LARP event in Dekalb fri night late - sunday afternoon. everyone have a great weekend

yesterday was a blast. it was great seeing everyone that made it to LAFF yesterday.

won't be making it to the next couple tho with the baby coming, hoping to still make january.

been an exhausting and damned annoying couple days.

yesterday drove up to elmhurst(about 2 1/2 hour drive one way) to go see the mate's mum and meet her aunt and uncle. her uncle is really good people, a retired professor from NW university, i believe either physics or chemistry, don't remember which one, but he was really down to earth and seemed very interested in me. it was nice to see. but for me, meeting new family is always stressful and on top of the driving exhausted me

afterwards my dad had to have a "talk" where he basically bitched me out for stupid stuff that wasn't his damned buisness. when is the SOB gonna realize that there are times he just needs to keep his damned mouth shut. probably never, but MEH, whatever

otherwise just goin to start prepping for a DnD campaign that i HOPE to start sometime around holloween, give or take, work on getting haven's head fixed, and getting my LARP stuff ready for their holloween event.

finally got my internet back on at the house, pictures from the last couple LAFF events that i took will be put up sometime in the near future. It was great seeing everyone at LAFF on saturday, hopefully i can still make it next month

with luck, for just a couple of days, my internet i had is not working for crap and hence before the grace period to kill it is over changing companies, will end up taking a couple days to get the new internet set up right

still planning on being at the LAFF meet saturday, but doubtful i will be suiting

and i will be a dad again. YAY!

finally finished the move and got my interenet up and running in the new place. YAY!

once i get my computer up and running again(using the mates at the moment) will be putting up a couple more pics

temporary i have internet still at the old house, until monday eve sometime, then i will be offline until probably next week after that sometime.

old house cleaning getting it ready for moveout is going along well, but will have to pay to recarpet the whole place (ouch), but it IS at a reduced price because of depreciation, so its not breaking the bank, but putting a nice dent in it.

new house is going slow, but it is coming along. the stuff that was broken is predominantly fixed, jsut waiting for the new landlord to bring in the new shades and fix the silverware drawer.

my checkout from the navy(WOOHOO!!!) is coming along well also, jsut hoping they approve my leave so i can go to the cubs-cardinals game tomorrow i got free tickets to.

still wont be back on #furrycoffeeshop until after i am officially moved into the new place never to return to this old place.

well, so much for going to the next LAFF meet. they changed my mom's birthday party for saturday instead of sunday, so no bowling for me this month. maybe next month i will be able to move.

in better news, i got the apartment i wanted, so i will be loading the moving truck and moving the family on sunday

I will be at GENCON at indianapolis august 3-7 running the NERO dungeon there(part of it anyways).

If anyone can make it, or know anyone here that is making it, let me know so if you all wish to we can meet there and BS around for a while. If you can make it and I don't know you are coming, jsut ask for Sean at the NERO dungeon front area and they can either come get me or let me know you came and that and we can set something up then.
