I wanted to let you know that I will have a short story published through Amazon in a short story anthology. The anthology is called 'Holiday Faever' and my story's titled 'Gift of the Fae-gi'. I'm just gonna...try my best to get more stories out. However, it's slow going and I'm not sure much will come before the end of the year.

One of the things that I've missed a lot lately is having someone to be excited about furry things with. The friend I do have that's excited about the fandom has been busy with studies and having moved in with her beau, and my other friends either tolerate it but aren't really interested in learning too much more, or just aren't interested. While I may be quiet in this fandom, it still means a lot to me. Has for years. And it sucks having lost the one person I knew would be jazzed when I showed her a really great piece of art.

This has been a long, rough year for me, but I'm hopeful to make changes and find more joy and light in this coming year. On that front, I will try to post more stories, both of the pornographic variety and of the tamer sort. I want to get back into a routine of writing daily again, the way I did when I worked on my novel regularly until I completed it. Once I start, it may be tough at first, but it will be worth the effort.

So, in 2020, expect some more stories and hopefully some more journals where I just blather about stuff. I hope that the new year is wonderful for each and every one of you.

In the aftermath of losing my wife, I have taken stock of a lot of things. One thing that came up from the mists again is a fetish I thought I'd left behind. It wasn't something that Pearl shared, so I didn't push the issue at all. She and the fetishes we shared were more than enough.

Now, when it's just me, I'm taking the time to explore it again. And I'm still very much into it. Working on another porn story that will explore my desires with that fetish in depth. I want to physically explore and experience it too, but that will come in time.

I'm crushed and devastated. I cried more and harder than I think I ever have. And I still hurt so much. My wife and best friend died tonight.

There won't be any porn from me for a long time. Not until I learn how to be okay again.

My wife went into the hospital last Monday, 2/18, with severe abdominal pain. Turns out, she had a perforated duodenum from overuse of ibuprofen. And also severe blood loss from the same perforated ulcer over a long, long period of time. The perforation is fixed now and she got transfusions. But I'm not okay. I haven't been since she went in, but it's hitting me now how close she could have been to losing her life. How close I was to losing her.

I won't be okay for a long time. I want to be sure that my wife is okay, that she heals and this doesn't come close to happening again. So I'm going to be cautious from now on, more so than before. This is exhausting, doubly so for her no doubt. I want her home, but I don't want to rush things. I don't like sleeping alone. I'm so tired.

Everyone, take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Be careful and cry if you need to. This sucks.

Things have calmed down a bit a home, but everything's left me with little libido and less drive to write smut. I've been working on a non-porny sci-fi short to post here. It's still there even though other projects have shoved their way to the front (a MHA fanfic and prompt story for a Discord community share among them). Will I get back to writing raunchy, furry stories again? Yeah, probably. However, if you're after an immediate fix, I will have to disappoint.

Worrying over my wife and making sure my folks are okay takes up a lot of my time besides working full time. When I get home, a lot of my 'and then they fucked' feeling has drained away. I'll get back to it though, and likely post more that has a broader appeal. I recognize the majority of what I have up is a bit niche. There will still be more of that though.

So, there's been weirdness on the homefront and it's taken up most of my attention besides work. I'm still plugging away at some other stories, but progress is slow. My mom's having some mental difficulties and it's cast a pall over everything in the house.

I'm super pleased that I finally completed my line edit! Three months for thirty-three chapters amid all of the day job stuff I have to do. Definitely something to be proud of, I'd say.

I felt the need to add an avatar. However, since I haven't drawn in...over a decade now, the picture isn't current. However, it's 100% hand drawn and colored by me. This is why I stick to writing, primarily.

I'm working on formatting a few more stories to submit. Also trying to work out how to get eyeballs on them. That seems the harder part, really. At least wondering about it is something else to do at work, other than wish I was home with my wife, doing line-editing.
