To those people that are probably ready to throttle me for not having commissions done: If the wait is getting to be too much, please, send me a PM and we can arrange stuff.
On asides, though, birthdays! Tomorrow the 23rd I believe is
hailbop's birthday- being an awesome goops that he is, you should all totally go say happy b'day to him. :3
And my birthday is March 1st, next Thursday. No, I don't really want anything, but I suppose I should put it out there so y'all know.
School is school. It has been a busy school. I have to take one course in the summer, but otherwise, once that's done, me and
urburos can begin Operation: Maybe Move To The West Coast. We'll see, really.

Holiday Sweet-things: Egg White Cookies
Posted 14 years agoHere, have a recipe to enjoy these holidays. :3
Egg White Cookies
1/2 package chocolate bits (semi-sweet); approx. 4 oz.
2 egg whites (the yolk must be removed, the recipe WILL NOT WORK with yolk in the mixture)
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups corn flakes
1/4 cup coconut (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1) Beat egg whites with whisk until foamy (and actually white).
2) add salt and cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff enough to hold peaks.
3) Add sugar and vanilla.
4) Fold in corn flakes and chocolate bits (and coconut).
5) Drop from teaspoon onto heavy brown paper on cookie sheet (you can cut out a grocery bag, that'll work just fine). Top with sprinkles, if so desired.
6) Bake at 300° F for 25 mins.
7) Enjoy!

Charity Auction: For A Good Cause!

But! The reason for this journal is for a good cause. A friend of mine,
alairan, has been struggling with a large chunk of debt- not by her choice, but by funeral bills. So farorenightclaw and several others have arranged for a few charity auctions! Winning any of these auctions not only gets you a story commissioned by myself and some other very talented writers, but an illustration to match! On top of that, any winning bid above $300 gets a 5-hour fast-track commission by Farore, which are of pretty amazing quality, really!

In the meantime, i'mma write some more commissions, while I look for a darn job. I'm saving up for Rainfurrest now, so let's see how it goes. :P
My rate's $20 for 2000-3000 words, and i'm willing to handle almost any sort of storyline or (almost) any kind of fetish- send me a note if you'd like to talk about it or discuss terms!
My specialties lie in transformation, brainwashing, or causing any sort of change to victims...but I can do more vanilla things. Or other less-vanilla things! Like I said, please, shoot me a note, I pride myself on being accommodating!

Okay, so, yeah. It seems like there's a lot of people who are wanting me to go to Anthrocon this year! However, i'm friggin' poor, and trying to save up.
And it's the summer now! And classes are done. So I have nothing going on. I'm finishing up the stories owed- maybe i'll post them up, for you all to have more Weird Things to ogle at. In the mean time, i'm going to temporarily announce myself open for more commissions. My rate's $20 for 2000-3000 words, and i'm willing to handle almost any sort of storyline or (almost) any kind of fetish- send me a note if you'd like to talk about it or discuss terms!
My specialties lie in transformation, brainwashing, or causing any sort of change to victims...but I can do more vanilla things. Or other less-vanilla things! Like I said, please, shoot me a note, I pride myself on being accommodating!

It's $5 for an entry; trust me, that's a -steal- for her art. And it's going to a good cause, so- really, it wouldn't hurt to donate a little.

Commission Updates, Birthdays, Other Stuff

This is basically to say sorry for my slowness. I've been grappling with a few things- and school- but now I have tome to slog out the remaining commissions for you all to enjoy. That and I need to upload a decent bit of art, so you can expect an upload flood soon enough- i'll spread it out over a few days, so you all don't have to panic or anything.
Other than that, there's school, there's my birthday- March 1st I turn 21, and I could ramble on about that for a while, so i'll spare you that yapping.
Other than that, there's the matter of conventions. My current plans place me at an uncertain status regarding Anthrocon, as much as i'd like to attend- i'm trying for several internships this summer; if I can get one I might be...rather busy. If I get it, I will have a nice amount of money, though- it'd be a matter of bargaining to see if I could get time off for AC. If I don't get the internship, I might not be able to make it either way. So, basically chalk it up as a 'we'll see.'

Opening Commissions! and Further Writing
Posted 15 years agoOkay, so yeah. It's pretty much the end of November. Much to my chagrin, the test-bitchslap-pole socked me 'round the noggin, and I never was able to make any real progress past the first week. (which I churned out like 11k words in!) In the intents of the month, though, once I hit that good groove, though (ie writing daily), I was actually able to churn out a decent amount of wordage. And people seemed to really like my stuff, so sweet. I still intend to be writing stuff along the continuum I established, so yes, expect to see more writing in the future.
And by future I mean within the month. Definitely will have more time to do such over the holidays.
Also! For all intents and purposes, I am opening story commissions! Y'all really liked what I was doing, so yes! Have any particularly pervy ideas rattling around in your head that I can draw out for you? Let me know!

The only things I will not write about is stuff like guro, scat, and hard vore. Some violence or combat is okay, but it's not anything I particularly sexualize.

NaPoWriMo- Regarding Writing for the next month or so

November is National Novel Writing Month; a month where a bunch of people come together and do their best to each write a 50,000 word novel from conceptualization to finishing in the span of one month. However, I will be dealing with the bitch known as School, so I don't think i'll be doing such!
To that extent. However, since i'm a turbo-perv, I'll be changing out the 'No' for 'Po'- as in porn, a move inspired by krinn and hailbop doing such. (it's like a triumvirate of postfurry! *u*)So, for the month's span, i'll try to be writing a short little piece of smut every day, maybe every other day if I get really inspired with something- so expect a bunch of stuff in the 2000-4000 wordcount range.
I have a very loose setting I want to pull, but each story will probably be its own self-contained snippet. That means i'll probably have to pull out a lot of inspiration from the characters of friends and/or people I know. So, if I like you, I might wind up using thinly-veiled expys of your character in a piece here and there. If this is like 'hoh mah gawh what are you doing' egregious to you, poke me about it and we can talk.
Also, to everyone else: Gimme ideas to write on! Themes, fun little things you would like to see explored more! Either by comment or note or IM or whatever medium you catch me through. And if you really like the way I write, we can talk about maybe commissioning me after November's efforts come to a close. If I actually seem to hit a groove with this and it all works out, maybe I'll write a respectable story (ie: one I would post outside of the furry community) over winter break.
