Also, regarding the gallery stuff I asked earlier. I decided to just clean up the folder systems and most of the commissions will now be put under Scraps so that they don't show up on my main gallery. You can still view them easily through different folders!

As most of you know, I'm quite a commission freak and I do tonssss of them! The main reason is that my parents expect me to earn enough money to pay for my sister's tertiary tuition fee, and I really don't want to go to the berry farm to earn those quick bucks. That results in me having to earn money equivalent to or exceeding the income I can get from the farm, which is around AUD1000. I need to work quite crazily for that yup, but I think I still enjoy working on commissions more than picking berries...

Anyway, here's the problem, since I do so many commission art pieces, I feel like my gallery here is getting more and more cluttered. Most people are not aware of this, but I think that brand-naming is quite important to artists. It is essentially what you want people to see you as, what you represent and what your name reminds people of. Most of the time, when you mention "Haychel" in the art community, people would probably think of Pokemon and that is what they expect mostly in my gallery. Not only that, I am quite an organized freak so it's not really that great for me that there are so many different pieces in my gallery. I would imagine for some people following me, that would make it rather difficult since they probably want to see my personal art or something that my brand name promotes, not all of these commission pieces.

Ultimately, do you guys think I should clean up the gallery and move all the commissions to a different FA account? Or, should I not upload commission pieces that don't quite fit with my brand name here at all? (I do have a commission archive tumblr and a trello for those)

New commission tier! Tier P for Pokemon, only accepts Pokemon with minor alterations. You can choose a simple Tier 1 background or rendered Tier 2 background. This will be opened when I next open my slots!


* Minor alterations as in: Recolored versions like a deeper blue Totodile is acceptable, but not a pink one. Pokemon like Togepi or Electabuzz etc with different patterns are also fine.

For those of you who aren't following my twitter closely, my dad has spoken to me recently about the financial condition of my family and it is not doing so well this year. It's not a super big deal, so nothing to worry about. However, that means that I cannot just rely on commissions for my financial earnings anymore as it is simply not enough.

Since it is the start of berry-picking season, I will mainly be doing that as my summer job, or whatever you would call it. It requires me to work from early morning to afternoon and I will be physically exhausted when I get home. I simply won't have enough energy to manage commissions for this period of time (Until around March I think). So yeah, sorry for those who were expecting to grab commissions off me in the following months, but that is not going to happen. Sorry!

In the meantime, I will spend most of my time working on my Pokemon webcomic: Tales of Elysium for :ssp-comics. So yeah, expect to see more for that~
