About 3 months ago, I stated that I wouldn't be around until me and my bf had found a new place to live after the selling the house from under our feet fiasco.
The good news is we've managed to find a house, and is only about 25 mins away from where we used to live, so still kinda local.
The lesser good news is that I now have a whole house to decorate, so I'm able to be around more-just not 100% as there is a HEAP of work to do on this house!
And I mean a heap!
But I'm very grateful to have found a new place, so now I can be around more whilst I'm decorating.
I can understand why people get so addicted to DIY, I love making things better, plus the more I do to the house the more it turns into a home .

So it's only recently me and my boyfriend found out that the owner of our rented property is selling and we have to have be gone literally just after Christmas.
Frustratingly, the owner didn't bother letting us know via letter or phone, my boyfriends cousin was looking via rightmove and saw the house listed, which luckily she then promptly text us to ask if we knew.
We had absolutely NO clue, just bam, suddenly the house was listed.

So apart from that being a real shitty thing to do, especially around Christmas, both our time is literally filled with decorating, packing and desperately trying to find somewhere to move in to.
I'm hopeful we'll find somewhere soon, but as you can imagine it was a pretty big shock.

Anywho, my point is I won't have a chance to be around much on FA (unless it's on my phone, and Virgin suck arse with their internet).

So in watching this video I thought I wonder what they'll bring out which I can add to my collectors den..I mean ahem. my office, and there's tons of stuff coming out that I've discovered I need yet MORE shelves for *facepalm*.
One of which is the snazzy looking Midnight Sparkle pony, have yet to see how she becomes Midnight Sparkle, but needless to say I want it lol.
The other main things were the FIM toy line, where they have storyline sets, one being the super speedy cider squeezy 6000, one of my fave episodes (and songs) and then just when I think ok I can handle this financially I spot the Sweet Apple Acres barn!!!

I have never been let down by this store, they have truly gorgeous furs in many colours and patterns and deliver relatively quick too.
Whilst some furs can be expensive, I really do feel the quality of the fur is worth the cost.

Just a quick journal to pimp some awesome MLP jewellery from Claires Accessories.

After an insane amount of searching the web, I have finally tracked down the perfect colours for the breast cancer awareness fox partial! It's taken a huge amount of time, mostly because I wanted to get a 60mm pile fur in both the bright and pale pink, and finally last night I found them!
The perfect colours at long last .
Which means finally, I can continue working on the breast cancer awareness fox partial-hurray!!! :-D
Also, since now I've tracked down the perfect pinks I've decided to buy a few metres extra so that I can make the male counter part and make a male breast cancer awareness partial (I believe that it's only fair to raise money for both male and female.)

Now that the fur has been ordered, in the next few months I'll be posting WIP's/sneaky peaks and the finished partial whenever possible

Just so thrilled that finally I've found the perfect colours in 60mm pile!

Whilst I've been staying with my boyfriend, we thought it would make a nice day out to visit the local dog and cat shelter, hopefully manage to walk some dogs or play with some kitties and show them a bit of love.
We've been planning to get a dog (eventually) but then we saw a gorgeous male Saluki, and being a rare breed to have in a shelter I suggested we could take him out for a walk.
He's very nervous, turns out he had been a stray so he was also very under weight poor little lad.
Then of course I gave my boyfriend the lead and he looked into the Saluki's eyes-next thing I know we're at the desk adopting him!!

He's now been named Loki and he's a real sweetie, with love food and training I think he'll be a wonderful addition to the family. (pics will be up soon as soon as I find my mobile).

SO EXCITING!


EDIT: I've seen another saluki stray in the shelter that we adopted Loki from! I don't know what sex this saluki is but it looks the same age as Loki only black and tan. I have a bas feeling i'm gonna be real broke this month lol.

So I was over on DA looking at Egyptian tattoo's when I came across the link above.
I despise animal cruelty, and the guy who posted the picture actually said the poor thing was put asleep just so the owner can tattoo it...WTF!!!
So I was just curious, are there rules outside the UK that permit this kind of thing because personally I think it's sick and cruel, and quite frankly if someone has a pet they shouldn't tattoo the poor thing!

After time off for health reasons, I'm finally getting my butt into gear and back into making partials.
There are a heck of a lot of designs I want to jump right into, but the one that keeps coming out top is a German Sheperd.
The main reason I feel it keeps standing out so much is, I'm very blessed in my life, for my friends, my family and just the experiences I have.
Although my health has taken a major battering in recent years, I'm still healthy, and for that I'm thankful.

The German Sheppy has been a partial I've wanted to make for quite some time, as I'm wanting to donate some of it towards Help For Heroes, obviously the % is heavily depending on what it sells for in the end.
It's a truly worthy charity I believe in, and now I'm at the right stage in my life, I feel it's the right time to give back, starting with Help For Heroes.
German Sheperds for me are such beautiful dogs, and I feel the breed lends itself rather nicely to the cause .

At the moment whilst I'm getting better from my sore throat (pesky wisdome tooth!) I'm just going to be relaxing making some badges.
Some will be generic, some will be just random characters.
Depending on a) how many I get done and b) if they generate interest, then I might consider selling some badges.
At the moment, I'm just having a fun time coming up with characters .

I know it's quite a long shot but I've been looking for the title of a book for simply ages, trouble is I don't remember the exact title or author and it's lead to dead ends .
I was probably about 13 when I read it, so I assume it was a teen romance/horror, the books main character is a girl called Mckenzie (I believe she was in a series of books) and the author was a male if I remember rightly.
Basically the key things I remember is it starts off she goes to a halloween party, meets the vampire called Michael, starts to go on dates (despite having a boyfriend tsk tsk lol-he might have been called aiden?).
Now I'm pretty sure the book had the word kiss in the title, I thought it was called either a vampires kiss or kiss from a vampire, something along those lines.

If this sounds like a book you have read or know about please drop me the line of the title, I remember I really loved the book as a teen so I'd love to give it another read now if I could only find it.

I just wanted to say to everyone who has noted me and spoke to me here and on DA about making fursuits, I thank you.
Because of you taking the time to talk to me about how I can improve my skills in fursuit making, I have noticed a vast improvement.
Your suggestions on stages from moulding to crafting has had a wonderful impact on my ability as a newbie maker, and as such I have started to advance far more than what I would have by myself.
As a result I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those members who have helped me improve, every time I make something new I use all your advise which has become priceless to me .

Today as it hailed down outside the bank I was stuck in a gigantenormous line >-<...I HATE LINES!!
Naturally as the line shuffled ever closer to the till my mind sort of drifted, this lead me to thinking about why one of my fave bands Disturbed had decided to split up.
I mean, their music is awesome...suddenly one of their songs popped into my head and before I knew it I was standing there moshing to myself lost in thought with a derpy smile on my face.
