Hello all you wonderful peeps!

It’s been a little bit since I made one of these hasn’t it?

I just wanted to thank you all as we have passed over 150 Watchers!

So to all those who have been here since I started uploading over half-a-year ago (gosh has it already been that long), thank you for sticking with me.

And welcome to all you new folks who have jumped on board recently. You guys have probably figured it out by now, but we like it BIG here.

Life wise stuff is going OK for me, still looking for a full-time role somewhere and when that inevitably happens art will of course slow down but I don’t plan of stopping completely.

Speaking of art, however, there might be a new YCH in the works, so keep an eye out for that!

Just two quick things:

Thank you so much for the recent watchers as we are approaching 100!

It may not happen immediately, but I am considering hosting a raffle where one of you can win to have your character drawn fat by me once we reach that number.
I might also include B,Sky followers in that, as I passed 100 followers over there a while ago.

Secondly, I’ve taken the time to add some folders and organize my gallery.
Hopefully stuff is easier to find now.
Reminder that sketches are still in scraps for those who would like to view them.

Just quickly, I’d like to let you know I’m on BlueSky now due to Twitter continuing to deteriorate
Since I draw art as a hobby, I’m not too concerned with things like follower counts

My Twitter will stay up for now but I’m most likely gonna post art to that cropped from now on, with encouragements to go to look at it here or on BlueSky
The plan from now on is to post to FA first, then BlueSky a day or two later and finally Twitter a week or so after that.

Hope your all doing well

Got a bit of a surprise for you all in the form of 4 images I’ve been slowly completing this past week and half.

My plan is to upload the first one the morning (my time) after this journal goes up, along with it’s Alt and sketch.
I’ll upload the remaining images, one at a time, each day after that.

This is partially to not flood you with 12 submissions all at once, but more to give a longer opportunity for more like-minded peeps to find this account and my art.

This is probably how I’ll upload stuff like this in future if the images are related to each other

I’m probably gonna take a short break from art after this (mainly because I have to for work/Uni) but after that I want to draw something other then Hefty, just for some variety.

Hope your all doing well

Thanks to all who have watched and favourited my art these past 2 weeks, the support is appreciated. The star and “cave” images were quite big projects for me, so I might go back to doing some smaller images and doodles for a bit. Although I did want to make a banner for the page. (Anyone have any suggestions/ideas for that?)

I also will be interested to see how my first story does over the next few days. Wasn’t planning on writing but maybe I’ll do more stories in future.

Finally, after some thought, I have enabled FA Notes. Feel free to leave messages there if you would like. Probably should have just left them on in the first place.

Anyway, Hello!

Thought I’d write down some info for you all on what you can expect from me, my background, plus some other thoughts I wanted to get out now I have somewhere to do so.

I’ve been lurking around FA for years now on another account, having discovered this place and the furry fandom via YouTube way back. Ever since then I’ve wanted to be more active in the community, and finally built up the courage to start leaving comments and talking to other like mined peeps here and on a few discord servers about a year ago. One fat-fur oriented discord server in particular came a place I would frequent a lot.

Recently I decided to finally give drawing a serious go after some events that I’m sure everyone is all too familiar with happened surrounding this site. I won’t get into that here, but it made me realize that I want to be able to leave my mark on this site and the furry community, even if it’s just a few silly drawings.

So, I started drawing and yeah, my first few drawings were ass, but I like to think I have improved since then and that was only just over a month ago. I still have a lot to improve on in my art, but I am very happy with my progress thus far. It has also helped to improve my mood a lot. I wasn’t unhappy before, but it brings me a lot of joy to make and share these silly drawings of fat dragons with you all.

I would like to thank and shout-out  Bloodread and all the other members of his server who offered their support and feedback. You know who you are. I know I keep saying it, but thank you, it means a lot.

So, what’s next?

Currently I have a lot of free time, but I expect that not to last forever. I would not expect consistent uploads here as my priorities change, but I think I’ll always be drawing something from now on, as a hobby if nothing else.

Other then that, who knows?
Maybe I’ll be here only for a few months and then disappear. And honestly, that’s OK, I accomplished what I set out to do after all.
But Maybe I’ll stick around here for years to come, making these drawings which I’ve come to love so much these past few weeks.

Won’t it be fun to find out?
