In a recent submission-

I severely broke my leg end of last spring. Ive had three surgeries and a huge rod put in my leg. A horse kicked me and shattered my shin and snapped my tibia right in half. One of my most favorite things in my life maimed me and literally ruined my life for now. I have not been having a good time with life lately. I can't work and I could not sit properly for a long time. I was too depressed to paint or do any art.

It just goes to show your life can change in an instant! I have been quietly recovering at home with my pets. Im thankful to my friends and family for caring for my ass. Without them, I do not think I would have made it

He said he loved me. I was his dime. I was special. Even though I am fucked up with depression, low self esteem, and generally struggling with life. I don't want to be that weak human being, but I am struggling to get by every day.

He left me overnight. I was blindsided. We were struggling to make it work. I caught him talking to another person but he said I didn't have to worry and we were just friends. He told me to keep fighting. So I did, but he left me like I was nothing.

My computer failed, totally blew up, it was terrible

I was rocking an old 2008 Mac Book Pro 17" I got for school. Honestly I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. I abused the fuck out of her. She finally perished and to my terror I thought I lost everything.

THANKFULLY, I was able to get all my data retrieved and placed on my new baby,
brand new 15' Mac Book pro with retina display and the best specs you can buy. Got the Karen MachII today <3 <3 <3 Basically now I am broke as fuck again, but I have a laptop with all my old data. NOTHING WAS LOST (commissions are still safe and online) <3 thank you Karen for surviving for so long.

I work at one of the largest ski resorts in the midwest (and by saying largest its really not that big :V we have like hills here, not mountains) I am a ski lift operator and do painting and maintanance in one of the largest indoor water parks in the United States (now thats saying something, we just put in a new crazy slide and its dope) I live on property and I avidly snowboard even though I am pretty terrible. Also its kind of cold here, and I really don't like snow. Funny right. I've been so busy with the holidays and have been slammed with stupid questions, drunk fucks, and general customer service woes. I have not had a lot of time to do a lot of art, most of the stuff I have uploaded is old, forgotten about, or half way done shit chilling on my hardrive. I plan on cranking out more soon.

Not to mention my personal life fucking sucks. Probably the worst its ever been in my entire life. People suck guys. They really do, and even if you care, sometimes how you feel just doesn't matter :/

Anyway if you ever go on vacation go to a ski resort. Fun shit abounds

The last few weeks have been a complete CF

It is so funny how things can go from okay to complete shit :/

I bought a car so I could drive back home to Michigan. It was a great fine and it looks great, ran great etc. I was excited to show everyone. SO I was about 14 hours or so into my cross country trek when my car died on me :C I was 2 hours away from home. I had to be towed and stay at a hotel until my step father could come retrieve me and my dead car. He tried to start it and said it sounded like the timing belt broke (he is a mechanic) so we brought it home and examined it in more detail. The damage was actually a lot worse that we expected. The cam shaft had snapped in half because the first 4 valves were starved for oil and it overheated. So curiosity caused him to check how much oil I had left

...and there wasn't ANY OIL IN THE CAR AND I HAD JUST GOT AN OIL CHANGE THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT FFFF

No I am in a legal battle with the dealer ship that sold this shitbox to me >:C and he is being a douche canoe so I have no idea what is going to happen. All I know is the car needs a NEW motor, as in the one in the car has to be taken out completely and replaced with a whole different engine. We took it to a mechanic for an estimate and for the reason why there was no oil in the car (leak etc) and he said THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A LEAK ANYWHERE THE CAR HAD CONSUMED 5 QUARTS OF OIL IN 800 MILES HHHNGH

so apparently the motor was just taken out of a junkyard without ANYTHING being replaced and bolted into the car. AWESOME just my luck :'c it will be about 2000-3400 to replace. I paid 4000 for the car in the first place.

SO NOW I am trying to find a way to make more money :C probably selling ugly pictures of lighthouses, beaches and other landscapey things I am really not a fan of :V but that is what people like around here :c

MY DILEMMA

Should I just edit my submissions? Or just be a snot and re-upload them as totally new pieces and move the old soils to scraps?

I might do that later because I would love to share my work with more people C:

Anyone have any ideas what I should draw/paint? Like horse breeds, certain people, other animals, a fuckin car, idk. What would you guys like to see painted?

I can make no guarantees that I will paint everything, but any cool ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am thinking of experimenting with charcoal, pastels and just general mixed media. Interesting subjects often inspire me to try different things.
